The qna just radiates toby fox. I like how he included quite random questions, answering some and giving us random dialogue on the others. Also, giving us an unfinished answer to the last question which could give us more lore.

@@TheAdvertisement i am aware of that, but the way you phrased it made it sound like you went for a significant period of time in your early life where you drank little to no pure bottled water in general, which just seems rather strange and at least a little bit concerning
@@Roshambo-i9u I mean, do most first world children consume pure water all that often? Unless you carry around a water bottle, especially children and preteens like I was, you tend to favor other drinks and rarely drink pure water.
@@TheAdvertisement ohhh, i see. i admit i didn't think of that possibility. as a first world child, yep it is perfectly common for kids to just drink pure water often. apologies for the misunderstanding.

Papyrus said there was grass… which implies the surface.
Sans already knew what the sun was in true pacifist.
*Im of the opinion that Sans and Papyrus have just been around since the war between humans and monsters but its been so long that papyrus’ memory is hazy*
Them being in the surface back before the war doesn't work though:
We know from the bunny shopkeeper in snowdin that Sans and Papyrus showed up on snowdin one day out of nowhere
We also know this was long after the war, since monsters left the ruins to explore the rest of the underground shortly before Chara arrived (as we see a calendar of 201X on the ruins, while a calendar of the ending of 201X has a circled date which is confirmed to be when Chara fell)
On top of that, since the Snowdin shopkeeper doesn't recognize you as human, and wasn't present when the ruins door got locked, which was caused by Toriel exiting after Chara and Asriel died, we can infer the snowdin shopkeeper wasn't in snowdin in 201X
And since Sans and Papyrus moved while she was there (as she points out how ever since they showed up things have been more interesting) Sans and Papyrus had to show up *after 201X* which is *after* the war
And since the war concluded with the monsters being sealed, the only way for Sans and Papyrus to have been on the surface, is suggesting that either they were born there (how exactly?)
Or that they avoided being sealed and fled for potential hundred of years until being thrown down the mountain
Neither of which make any sense

Where exactly do you propose they were then?
Since, again, it cannot be the surface, it simply doesn't work

They probably didnt live in snowdin until later after being sealed.
Handplates does a good job with a hypothetical there

I feel like sans and papyrus are just humans with everything invisable except their skeletons..... or they have mucles and organs inside of their bones....

The last question DOES mean that at some point, sans and papyrus ived somewhere with green grass. id say maybe a place in home somewhere, or maybe the surface even.
Home wouldn't make sense unless they literally lived in the castle.
Surface definitely doesn't make sense.
well im not sure where somewhere with green grass could be? ruins maybe? theres grass somewhere there, and monsters DID at one point live there, and snowdins the closest area to there
