Thank you for watching and leaving a comment! Your work is beautiful and emotionally got me as you saw in the video, thank you for that. I genuinely mean that as I find stories like this (yours) a treat. I look forward to watching the rest of the OW shorts, KZ.
@ovted129 it definitely seems like an allegory for PTSD, many people would agree. And while I also agree, I see something else, that's more relatable for me personally. And that's the message of how difficult it can be to overcome programming. Having grown up in a cult-like religion that I then left, I relate to this video very much, in a slightly different way than just "PTSD"
Something I don't think people call enough attention to is the change in his stride after mowing down the forest. Prior to that scene his movement was robotic, in the sense that each step was rigid and uniform, even as he was looking around the way he walked had a distinct rhythm. Afterwards, as you see him exiting the forest his movement is more fluid, his body sways from side to side as he trudges along. This detail speaks volumes about what sort of change that moment brought about in the character and I can never stress enough how important those kinds of details are when telling a story.
The feather was more than just a red herring - I think we're meant to understand that Bastion thinks he killed the bird as well. We're put in the same defeated mindset he is because he believes that he just killed the bird he's spent the majority of the story bonding with up to this point.
Yes of course, remember we are living out this film through Bastions eye/eyes. Whatever 'she' (a viewer told me) feels, we feel. Subtext-wise, she just killed her mother hence it hurt more for both parties (us and her). Thank you for watching the video, I hope you enjoyed it!
Basically the entire arc of The Iron Giant in under seven and a half minutes and it still makes me tear up. He’s a weapon that doesn’t want to be just a weapon.
It's a really powerful thing, being created to do something to then not wanting to do it. Another viewer informed me that he is in fact a she. She's a girl bot, KZ.
@@kaizammit Bastion doesn't necessarily have a gender so he/she/it all work :) I believe one of the characters who speaks a different language uses feminine style language on Bastion, but in English mostly the characters call Bastion he or it.
PTSD robot is an excellent choice. Always fascinating how much emotion and abstract thought you can convey without words, or even human interaction. Goes to show how much emotion we have attached to animals too. Excited to see if you react to the whole Overwatch cinematic series because they're some of my favorites. 🥰
Thank you for watching and commenting! If they keep being this good then I'd be silly not too. I've already got another Overwatch short lined up for filming, Honour & Glory. I hope you like that one too ✌🏻KZ.
@@kaizammit Also, that was the first time I made that connection to mother like you said. You totally unlocked my memory of that book "Are you my mommy?" from when I was a little kid. 😆 And yes, Honor & Glory is a good one! Subbing so I can see 'em. 😁
Yikes! My videos are unlocking memories now, amazing! Thank you for the sub and I look forward to seeing your comments in future videos. P.S. I made this channel so viewers can use the tools I'm teaching/mentioning to see film stories differently. Your comment has made my day, KZ.
It's the next filmmaker reacts I'm filming, all 5 of them. Not the next release though but should be afterwards. Thanks for watching and commenting! Loving the energy, KZ
I'm watching the Overwatch ones one by one as they are in the breakdown series I do. Is that Overwatch 2 that cinematic? Should I watch all the others from Overwatch 1 first? KZ
In the background of Bastion walking through the forest, the castle that stands out is Eichenwalde, a place long taken over by Bastion's kind after slaughtering all the humans in it, and has been left abandoned for many years. In his flashback the giant blaze from the hammer-wielding giant who also deploys the shield is a warrior from Eichenwalde that survived. That is Reinhardt. His cinematic goes with this one hand in hand to see both sides of the Omnic Uprising. The other city that he spots was built after the war, and that is Numbani, a city of peace for both humans and Omnics to live together in peace. An inventor there made a peacekeeping fleet that protects all. Orisa is a 4 legged centaur build robot that doesn't understand emotion like Bastion does but she has her mind set in law to stop those from breaking and resisting the peaceful ways of the city. So the whole story shows not just how Bastion was affected but how the world was too. With Eichenwalde being a place of war and death and Numbani being a place of peace and life. I'd suggest going for Reinhardt's story next to coincide with this one for the full story. "For Honor and Glory" is Reinhardt's video.
Loving the lore, thank you for informing me, was a nice read ✌🏻. I may get places and the sex of certain characters wrong but as an outsider looking in, I can only comment on the story in front of me as a filmmaker. Thanks for watching and the comment! Consider subscribing (if you haven't already) to catch the upload of your suggestion, KZ.
man that was a very beautiful recap but, yes, Eichenwalde and his castle are located in the black forest in Germany (the location of this short) while Numbani on the other hand, is near the African savanna.
pretty sure thats not Numbani as that city is in Africa while Eichenwalde is in Germany... unless there is one single, uninterrupted forest between germany and africa and he walked all the way here I dont see it happening. And its not like futuristic cities arent the norm in Overwatch's universe.
Eichenwalde is the quaint town in the Black Forest of Germany. The futuristic city on the horizon is meant to be Stuttgart in the 2040s, as the Omnic Crisis started 30 years prior to the events in the timeline where Overwatch 1 starts (the events shown in the "Recall" trailer with Winston, which is set in the year 2074), and the Battle of Eichenwalde happened roughly 27 or so years prior when Reinhardt was in his early Thirties and part of the Crusaders, the German army's power-armour platoon. Bastion didn't make it to the battle due to a malfunction and shut down for decades until he "re-awakened" by the time OW1 started.... Later, when the character of the young female Mexican hacker Sombra was introduced to the game, her cinematic intro trailer and the ARG that went along with it implied that Sombra, in her attempts to find out more about a global conspiracy linked to the Iris (the "god" of the Omnics that those "Buddhist monk" Omnics like Zenyatta, Mondatta and Ramattra worshipped) she had managed to access Bastion's CPU and deleted his "kill all humans" instructions so that his A.I. had no clear instructions anymore beyond "go there" (to Stuttgart).
When the robot walking montage occurs by showing him looking around inquisitively instead of focusing on his goal it shows us he is independent of that primary programming he is following, foreshadowing his choice at the end
This cinematic carries a very strong and clear message. It's about how people who help their loved once go through PTSD (or any kind of mental disorder, honestly) have the dedication to start over, to bring peace to struggling again and again after hard moments. Because the alternatives are horrifying and unacceptable.
All Overwatch animations are amazing and together they tell an amazing story. Some time ago i started watching various filmmakers react to various game animations and movies and I have to say, even though I dont work in this field, it still gave me another dimension to look at when i watch movies in general and enjoy it even more than i used to.
Amazing to hear! I hope I'm not a carbon copy but fully aware of overlapping as we are filmmakers. I hope there's something from my videos that's different enough that you feel entertained and a chance to learn something new if you choose too regarding watching stories and films, etc. Thank you for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it and I hope you stick around with this new channel, KZ.
It's sad that overwatch has gone down the crap hole as a game but we can always go back and watch these cinematics that are just so freaking wonderful.
7:26 I rly love the "WOW" of yours :) I can rly feel the moment of you realising what the story is going to tell us with only that little twig. That animation is so beautiful and emotional. I really enjoyed rewatching it and heard about your thoughts of it too. Ty
I hope you watch the rest of the Overwatch videos as well as WoW cinematics and even LoL cinematics. Love the content and seeing your genuine reaction to these is a good watch!
Thanks for watching and commenting! I've got a WoW video coming up, it's at the top of my list. Another universe for me to be invited too, love it! I will return to the Overwatch universe very soon. KZ
@@kaizammit Although any Overwatch or Overwatch 2 trailer that has Tracer in it (like omg the very first cinematic trailer ever released for the Overwatch game back during the first Beta) is so incredibly cliché "Saturday Morning Superhero Cartoon" it makes me cringe. Can someone please shut up Tracer and her annoying hyper-preppy voice up already.
This was a great pick from Overwatch’s backlog of cinematics; there’s two more that have some of the best storytelling I’ve ever seen: •Sigma Origin Story •Honor and Glory They’re incredible! Keep these up- I liked this video a ton
Thank you for commenting and I'm glad you liked the video! I've got a few more videos (2/3) between now and the next Overwatch animated short however, the next one I'm looking at is one of your requests, Honor and Glory. The way it's going, I'll most likely end up checking them all out (Overwatch) as I'm very much enjoying this world and more importantly, the stories they are telling. The other videos in case your interested in subscribing will be about Warhammer 40K, World of Warcraft and Diablo 4. More Filmmaker Reactions and story analyses. KZ
I'd love to see what you make of "the curse of the sad mummy". It's a league of legends short/music video that made me shed a tear or two. I love your insights! You have such a naturally alluring voice that makes it so easy to listen to. It makes me feel like I want to keep learning from you! Thank you so much!
You're the first person I believe to mention that franchise. I'd be happy to check it out and if it made you shed a tear or two, then the story must be good! You know me, sucker for a good story. Amazing to hear my voice is not annoying people, best comment EVER! Thank you, KZ.
It's certainly left its mark on me. Amazing really considering I know nothing about the franchise other than what I've experienced through these shorts. Thank you for watching, KZ
Love the analysis. Instant sub. These are good pieces to look at. I’m very partial to The Last Bastion. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better depiction of PTSD and the ability for individuals to choose hope when they have support. It looks to me like the wind changes as he walks back to the forest. The grass was bending toward the city. Almost like the wind was blowing him there. But as he walks back into the woods with Ganymede the grass seems to lean toward the forest also.
I see a lot of things but I didn't see that, I'll have to re-watch it now! Bring out the tissues. Thanks for the sub and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. KZ
just came from the dragons video and I just wanted to say, I love how you edited this video compared to the other. The way you talk about the film, and then proceed to show clips that relate in full size rather than pausing and playing. I love love this.
This is how I edit the videos now. The Dragons video was my first/second video for the channel. Thank you again for watching another. New Overwatch video coming soon. KZ
I've had my eyes on League of Legends, I hear good things and I'm curious to know why they are good. What's making people tick when they watch it? Love it! KZ
Just started watching but you should watch all of the OW cinematics and react to them. they are truly amazing and some of the best gaming storytelling I've ever seen. I don't even play the game anymore but i rewatch these on pretty regular basis
I see multiple people hollering already, but I had to be one of them. I am really looking forward to your reaction and analysis on "Honor and Glory" It always tears me up whenever I watch it. Would really like to see the analysis on the effective story telling.
@@kaizammit absolutely recommended to bring one of those! So many good trailers like Rise and Shine, Hero, the introduction trailer to the game, or just the shorter origin story trailers for King's Row Uprising, Doomfist, Sigma, between many others. They always knew how to nail the cinematic right

This is always one of the hardest watches because no matter what even though everytime you come back to this one and knowing the bird.... still almost ending tearing up even when you watch someone else watch it, it was a hardone but beautifully done.
Found your channel through the Astartes reaction, and came here to see myself sobbing again witht this short film, but now with a better understanding of what and why im feeling this. Normally i hate "reactions", but yours are worth it because you always add info about the process, techniques and reasons for the elements, its good! tyy
I do the reactions because I want it to feel like you (the viewer) and I are friends and you're showing me the video personally. That's why I add that part and then I get my filmmaking head on and work out why it effected me or you (the viewer). I enjoy sharing nerdy film stuff to people who are actually interested. Thank you for watching and commenting. KZ
@@kaizammit oh no, don't get me wrong, I loved your format! The reason I like it, is exactly because it's not only the reaction, but you always add in to the content and break it down after, it's amazing!
Great video Kai, just wanted to let you know as I haven't really seen anyone else in the comments mention this, but Bastion's bird friend is named Ganymede. I love these two so much.
the dichotomy of the initial reaction of "my dark sense of humor said the robot would just blast the bird" and the reaction to the transformation scene of "i hope he didn't kill the bird" and "oh no he killed it" was a fun 180 to watch.
Hope you can get to the rest of the Overwatch cinematic! Watched most of your videos assuming you had at least a few hundred thousand subscribers! Mate, keep on the road you’re on now and you’ll be huge in no time!!
The sad music part (after "killing" the bird) for some reason reminds me sooo much of the scene from Hunger Games, where Katniss buries and honors Rue - am I the only one?
I've only seen two so far and I loved both of them... technically this one is a stronger film as in, no dialogue, a serious subject matter and made me get emotional. However my favourite of the two would be Dragons. It made me want a whole movie with those two characters plus it made me want to play the game. I even downloaded Overwatch 2. Granted I still haven't played it though. What Overwatch short is your favourite?
I'm one of your new subscribers, I think from yesterday or a few days ago. Anyway, I enjoyed the video. I'm sure you'll be checking out ALL of the Overwatch shorts, game trailers, and mini cinematics in the future. It's nice to see others, especially specialists in the field of filmmaking, discussing and explaining their thought process regarding what they've just seen, and delving deeper into every step taken by the team that put together those videos. +1 Side note : The robot is female, that's what the creators of Overwatchs lore said.
Thanks for being a subscriber! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, many more to come covering a variety of cinematics and franchises. I totally didn't get that the robot was a girl, crazy! Thank you for informing me. I see the bird as a girl too yet I still call it a him, I do that a lot. I call everything a 'he'. KZ
one thing that brought me into loooving overwatch was their cinematics! and i think you should take a look at HONOR AND GLORY cinematic :D Love how you talked after the cinematic keep up the amazing work! :D
I'm recording that one next week so stick around with the channel. It will be out in 2 videos time, currently editing WoW and a LoL video. Hope you enjoy it. KZ
The Overwatch mini series Genesis, Innocence and Rebirth that have come out are great and provide even more background for Bastion and what the other Omnics went through in that flash back.
I will return to Overwatch, I'm just covering a few different franchises/worlds first. Once I've done 1 for WoW and 1 for LoL, I think I'm ready to return. KZ
I loved that in the end it decided to go back to the forest instead of continuing to war. The trigger with the woodpecker gave me a p.t.s.d. vibe. I had an old friend that was in the Vietnam War and the sound of helicopters would trigger him.
Thank you for doing “The Last Bastion”! All of the Overwatch character videos are great. Again, many of the Blizzard cinematic videos are well done and can be viewed with limited context. And I’m definitely looking forward to the Astartes react! Great video! Also, the bird’s name is Ganymede.
Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoyed it. I've already got the next Overwatch animated short lined up. Thanks for the bird name, I like it! I'm filming Astartes next week and it will be exactly like this video, story analysis all the way to how it's edited. ✌🏻
This overgrown Bastion skin is in the game! And it even has the tiny twig on his shoulder in the same spot. The bird is called Ganymede and is his partner, every different skin Bastion has in-game has a different type of bird species too
I cried when he went into PTSD.. It is just so well made. It shows how building trust and love is work but it can be destroyed so easily... But yet there is still a path to redemption
Bit of a background. That robot was part of what can described as this version of the Skynet rebellion from the Terminator film series, which humanity won, there is more to it, the general background. That robot is one of the last combat robots from the that rebellion that decided to move forward onto a new path over it's original orders.
Brilliant breakdown. As a fellow Transformers fan it may interest you to know you can get a Bastion skin that makes him look like a black ops Shockwave. Another well structured Overwatch film associated to this one is Honor and Glory. Another one that pulled surprising emotions out of me for different reasons. If you do more of those I hope you enjoy the ride!
Since you have watched the last bastion and dragons from Overwatch, “For honor and glory” is a must watch for the future! It develops one of the main characters, bastion, and provides more depth of Overwatch’s worlds story.
6:40 that thing is a Crusader, military personal in Germany, and they have their own short (which is my favourite of the bunch) called Honour and Glory.
The most relatable thing I have to this animation is wall E. For the most part Wall-E was just robots doing robot things. Even in the movie where he was messing with stuff on Earth it was just robot curiosity and really entertaining. There wasn't much dialogue in the beginning part of the movie. :)
This reminds me of the Iron Giant movie. I believe the movie came from the idea that "What if a gun didn't want to be a gun?" and this fits that perfectly like the Iron Giant.
I don't know if you'll read a comment on an old video like this, but man, as someone who really dearly loves these cinematic pieces by Riot and Blizzard, it's so incredibly nice to see someone who is genuinely interested, invested and just present when reacting to them. I sincerely appreciate you making these with passion, and it goes to show, we get to see your own deep care for the craft come out, even in the smallest details aside from the very clear emotional draws and consecutive deep investigation of the story itself, to you just keeping your webcam dynamic with constant movement. It's such small things that goes to show that you aren't here to try to farm a job, you're actually such a delight to watch. I'm honestly hooked, I feel like I'm genuinely watching some of my favorite videos with a friend, who also happens to know a shit tonne about how the animations work. I hope you are, and you will continue to, enjoying these reactions, both the initial experience, then sharing your experience, and finally sharing your thoughts on the story. Have a phenomenal day
I see all comments and I like to reply to most of them. I appreciate your time. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and I will eventually cover them all. Sadly I no longer edit my videos this way as the editing was just abusing my home life. Almost made me quit the channel because it was that bad. I now treat them more like master classes which allows me to give you more filmmaking talk. I hope you still like the videos even though they've changed. Thank you for checking out the video. KZ
@@kaizammit While I don't fully understand this comment, never do something that brings you down in pursuit of going up. Masterclasses indeed, I didn't just post this comment without watching the video, just came back to it, it's entirely genuine on account of watching both the videos! You don't need the minor details, it just shows you care, and you express that plenty otherwise. Take good care of your mentality, do what you want and wish, and I'm positive it'll only be more banger videos, as long as you enjoy making them as much as we enjoy watching them
I like your reaction a lot. I recommendt basicly all League of Legends Cinematics, Twist of Fate, New Dawn, Awaken, Warrior, Ruination, The Call. Furthermore the Teaser of the Champions (Highly Trial of the Poro, i believe u gonna love that one!). Annie Origins, Project and Star Guardian, Tales of Runetera and so many more.
@@kaizammit Id say with 2013 Twist of Fate, the first, lets say real high quality Cinematic. It shows a lot of the most favorite characters of that time. If u want to go the full road there is one from 2009 when the game first came out. Its cool but not an good aged one, it shows off the old idea of the game where "Summoners", that would be the players, controll heroic people through magic to clear out political stuff on a arena like battlefield to solve political conflicts and avoid war. Well that idea doesnt exist anymore in league and the lore took a complete different direction (Its become massive over the years, maybe u get sucked into it, no need to play or like the game itself for that, it is like Warhammer 40k int his term.) :D
It's coming, I think it will be in two/three videos time. I haven't filmed it yet so no SPOILRERS please! Stick around with the channel so you don't miss it. I hope you like it, KZ.
Ok just finished your video and wow! I've watch a lot of OW reactions...its a bit of a hobby of mine to watch other people's enjoyment when they first see these shorts. This is by far the best review and analysis on TH-cam. I'll sub if you're planning on doing the other shorts as well. Please do them in chronological order though, as they do tell a larger story if viewed that way
I am actually going to cover all of them eventually. Good timing because in a few weeks, I'll be uploading Honor and Glory. I'm coming back to Overwatch. I'm glad you enjoyed my breakdown and thank you for taking the time to comment. Means a lot. KZ
The power of storytelling! Thank you for watching and commenting my friend. The next Overwatch short I'm covering is Honor and Glory, I hope you like it! KZ.
I want the channel to be led by people like yourself. Let me know about the amazing stories I've missed or just straight up, didn't know they existed. I'm very excited to watch and learn myself from the films. At the same time, I hope I'm entertaining and can offer value in my insights and "teachings" if you (the viewer) want to learn filmmaking/story structure. Thank you for the sub! KZ.
19:50 Wow, I never noticed how his light turned black Which could mean denial or devastation from what he saw, and only then the appearance of the red evil mod
What's up man! Awesome reaction. Saw you reacted to some Warhammer stuff. Would love to see you react to the Astartes Project. It's an animated short film about 12 minutes long mainly featuring the Space Marines, all made by one person. You're jaw will drop with the stuff he does in there. Hope this channel blows up!
I've got another Filmmaker Reacts that I'm editing now but after that, you'll be please to hear that I'm going to be looking at Astartes. I've heard good things and I will do a story analysis on it too. I hope you enjoy that video too! Also, thank you for the kind words, KZ.
I have had friends express surprise when I told them I liked these Overwatch shorts. As they knew I don't care about the game whatsoever. Some people I guess, just don't take me at face value when I say that I love animation as a whole. It doesn't matter where it comes from or the type, I like good animation. (and anyone who knows me even slightly has likely been told as much, either by me, or by someone else)
I tear up when watching this too. I’m really bad about that with anything that portrays strong interpersonal connections, so the big anime speeches and stuff like that can get me too.
I like to think that the surroundings darkening due to the clouds as he walks towards the city in destroyer mode and then that small light when the bird appears is deliberate symbolism
@@kaizammityou're the only person I've seen who actually pointed it out in their video. Almost everyone misses it. You should also try out Reinhardt's cinematic. It's the same as Bastion's.

I wanted to recommend Kiriko, it is another cinematic from Overwatch, and it is really good. Also The Wastelander, they're both awesome and I'm sure you'll love it
TH-cam actually with a great recommendation on my FYP, really liked the video. The overwatch cinematics really are well made. Another video game cinematic you might enjoy is the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Launch cinematic (especially for being 8 years old already) And it is also is one where you dont have to do a whole series for like with OW or LoL, so it might be a nice one for in between Also, as others in the comments have already said, other ones that are great to watch are some of the League of Legends cinematics
Thank you for watching and commenting my friend. More videos coming to the channel so thanks for the recommendation, I hope you stick around with the channel. KZ
Our little wilderness explorer. 💙 You should watch the one on when Reinhardt (the guy with the hammer who sent out a fire strike in the flashback) meet Bastion
I should say watch the OverWatch short honor and glory The castle in the background of this overwatch short is where that one takes place and it's at the same time and it ties in a lot of the story.
Yeah. Blizz makes incredible cinematics (WoW, Starcraft 1+2, Diablo-the one you've watched). The League of Legends cinematics are quite good too (but they are more music videos). And The Elder Scrolls Online videos. A few nice Warhammer 40k videos out there. Official (DoW 3) and unofficial ones. The Astartes 5 part (inofficial was amazing). Oh and the Star Wars ToR cinematics. In case you want some suggestions...
I'm going to be checking them all out. I've got the second half of the Diablo battle coming next, then it's Astartes! Maybe some of the older cinematics, I might just do an initial reaction with a final thoughts on it?🤔 Newer stuff will be story analysis. As a new viewer, would you be happy with just a reaction or do you like the story analysis? Cheers, KZ. P.S. thanks for the suggestions ✌🏻
Rewatching these with you Kai, reminded me how WEAK I AM TO OVERWATCH TRAILERS 😭 but the biggest offender out of em is "Honor and Glory", that shit is my kryptonite, I CANNOT watch that video without starting to bawl. It's the perfect recipe to make a bawling mess out of me LOL so... can't wait for you to cover it, I guess? LOL
You gotta do Honor and Glory if you plan to continue with the Overwatch cinematics. It gives a little bit of insight to that war Basion had a flashback about and what its like on the other side of it.

@@kaizammitdon’t forget the Kiriko one since it’s not in the compilations that people put together (if you are using them)
I'm watching the Overwatch ones one by one as they are in the breakdown series I do. Is that Overwatch 2 that cinematic? Should I watch all the others from Overwatch 1 first? KZ
@@kaizammit well there is a „chronological order“ where people put them together so they align in the timeline but I don’t think it matters that much
Alright, good to know and thank you for telling me. 🙏🏻
After so many times watching still got a little teary eye not gonna lie
I felt it too and I love it! If you watched the story analysis I did, you know why we both got emotional.
That's not Numbani. Numbani is in Africa. Germany is not in Africa.
Would love to see your reaction to Honor and Glory specifically. And tbh to the rest of the overwatch cinematics as well.
Alright then, I'll make that my next Overwatch video. Thank you for the suggestion, KZ.

Respectfully, I think we all get teary eyed watching this man. Such a great character and such a good lore

This was a great pick from Overwatch’s backlog of cinematics; there’s two more that have some of the best storytelling I’ve ever seen:
•Sigma Origin Story
•Honor and Glory
They’re incredible!

Great video Kai, just wanted to let you know as I haven't really seen anyone else in the comments mention this, but Bastion's bird friend is named Ganymede.

the dichotomy of the initial reaction of "my dark sense of humor said the robot would just blast the bird" and the reaction to the transformation scene of "i hope he didn't kill the bird" and "oh no he killed it" was a fun 180 to watch.

The sad music part (after "killing" the bird) for some reason reminds me sooo much of the scene from Hunger Games, where Katniss buries and honors Rue - am I the only one?
I guess this is the best Overwatch short cinematic ever!
Real drama without any words.

The bird is called Ganymede and is his partner, every different skin Bastion has in-game has a different type of bird species too
It's amazing how much detail goes into character design. Thanks for watching the video, hope you enjoyed it! KZ
I cried when he went into PTSD.. It is just so well made. It shows how building trust and love is work but it can be destroyed so easily... But yet there is still a path to redemption
It was the bird for me, real watery ducts! Haha
Bit of a background. That robot was part of what can described as this version of the Skynet rebellion from the Terminator film series, which humanity won, there is more to it, the general background. That robot is one of the last combat robots from the that rebellion that decided to move forward onto a new path over it's original orders.
The moment he thinks he hears gunfire I tear up every time haha. Poor buddy!
I'd buy that skin in a heart beat! Thanks for watching, KZ.
Since you have watched the last bastion and dragons from Overwatch, “For honor and glory” is a must watch for the future! It develops one of the main characters, bastion, and provides more depth of Overwatch’s worlds story.
It's going to be my next Overwatch video, 3 or 4 vids time. ✌🏻 I hope you stick around with the channel so you don't miss it. Thanks for watching! KZ
Always seeing a Crusader in action brings me chills
I saw The Wild Robot last month and that movie reminded me of this trailer.
I've not seen that yet but I know my children do. I know when I see it I'll be looking for similarities.
I like to think that the reason Bastion woke up was because Ganymede's pecking sounded like gunshots. And the woodpecker shows that more clearly.
I would recommend Honor and Glory as your next Overwatch short. It's one of my favorites.
You're in luck because that will be my next Overwatch video, I hope you like it. KZ
Fun fact, the birds name in game is "Ganymede" and you can find him in some maps
I'll check some of them out! Where should I begin, is there an order? KZ

You should watch the three part animated Overwatch story called Genesis. Its such an amazing and bittersweet story.
I will be covering all the Overwatch Cinematics so stay tuned. I hope you stick around with the channel. KZ
Каждый раз... каждый раз у меня проступают слезы
Rewatching these with you Kai, reminded me how WEAK I AM TO OVERWATCH TRAILERS 😭 but the biggest offender out of em is "Honor and Glory", that shit is my kryptonite, I CANNOT watch that video without starting to bawl. It is probably the one that hits the closest to home out of all of em for me, and also features one if not my main hero in OW, Reinhardt. It's the perfect recipe to make a bawling mess out of me LOL so... can't wait for you to cover it, I guess? LOL
The animation team for Overwatch has always carried the game so insanely hard.
If you liked that one and the story of Genji and Hanzo, you need to see Kiriko's story. One of the best overwatch shorts.
You gotta do Honor and Glory if you plan to continue with the Overwatch cinematics. It gives a little bit of insight to that war Basion had a flashback about and what its like on the other side of it.
It's going to be my next Overwatch video. I hope you enjoy it! KZ
