I think the F15 has a better gear change ratio. At higher speeds, you should be faster than him. I hv a X5 e70 40d, too and i do not like the way it changes the gears. It revs up to ~5000 rpm. So i do it myself sometimes to have a better power band
@@mihralidemir6665 That explains alot. I also had a traffic light race with a 40d F15 (over about half a mile) and he was always half a car length in front.
Hello. I have a Bmw X5 3.0 (f 15 - 2015). I would like to remap stage 1 Plus (310bhp). Do you also offer dyno? Where are you as a location? Thanks.
Hey Darius, Auckland, New Zealand. F15 30d is my daily car :) Absolutely in love with it.
I have an E70 40d but the acceleration in a friend's F15 30d appears quicker.

Basically what @mihrali said. Gear ratios, drive train loss, tq vs hp. But the main issue of that comparison - WEIGHT. E70 aint light.
Dhis engine not holding manufacture power any. BMW e70 40d
It's always a challenge to compare wheel HP and engine HP. The difference could be up to 35% drivetrain loss like we see on older quattro systems.
