Good on Ballislife for dropping a dunk mixtape after him winning the contest so people can actually see Mac been doing this. His work ethic is insane and I hope to see more people rooting for him. I know 90% of us in here have been since day 1.

I appreciate this mixtape. Just heard about him tonight for the first time on overnight news. Came here and wanted to watch a bunch of his dunks in one spot so this mixtape worked out very well.

Well, I've been watching the NBA since the late 70's, never heard of the dude until the Sixers signed him. Most people don't stumble across TH-cam channels featuring high school ballers like this one. I honestly don't care about players in any sport until they reach the pro level. The worst player on any pro sports team was the best player on every other team he ever played on. I'm glad my Sixers got him though for sure.

I've been watching him since high school and this was some of the footage I watched, and some of the dunks he hasn't even tried yet & he admitted that there were four that he still had in his bag, so now there's a great anticipation for the next years dunk contest which he said he would participate in as well

Yeah, you should find/peep the video out there where he's showing his workout regimen with his dad. Then you can see clearly how he does what he does. Playing in games was like a kid at recess in comparison! What hard work do!

People were criticizing him being in it because he's not an allstar and coming from the G league. But I believe him being invited has to be him being a known dunker from highschool. He saved the dunk contest. I haven't went back to watch a dunk contest other than the '16 duo with Lavine and Gordon. And now I'm going back just to see Mcclungs dunks
Same here. After they robbed Gordon not once but TWICE I was done with the dunk contest. McClung made it worthwhile.
If people want to get upset with anyone, it should be the actual allstars who can't be bothered to show up for the dunk contest. If the Ja Morants of the world aren't going to do it , the NBA might as well find g league guys who will.

They don't have all stars in the dunk contest very often. It's usually solid starters who are very athletic and young. All stars used to be in the dunk contest all the time back in the 80s and 90s but not so much anymore. Vince Carter was around the last of the era of superstars being in the contest. Lebron, Westbrook and a lot of other guys have dodged it for years. Bron teased that he might but never did.
@@user-gm4kv2my4u spot on. It's really disappointing that stars stopped participating after Vince Carter and Dwight Howard. It would have been fun to watch Lebron or Westbrook. I think some of them are in game dunkers and maybe can't get too creative in a contest.
If Ja Morant never ends up participating in a dunk contest it would be a slap in the face to the contest if the leagues most athletic stars won't participate.

Yeah, he has a 7'10" standing reach which is way below average for his height. I'm 5'8 with 7'7" reach and this really inspires me to dunk in game and not just in prac

Boy can shoot now too and dish the rock. He was top 5 in assist in 2021 on the gleague and this season he’s shooting 50% from 3…dude deserves a shot, but his defense is still bad lol
Was always impressed with his reverse, probably one of the few people at his level that doesn’t need multiple reps. It just seems like he can take off from anywhere and land it when he doesn’t get full extension.
What I didn’t know about was his baseline with two hands, max height and full extension.

Bro NOBODY in our region, division or state class was stopping us that year. I think we lost a game or 2 but we won the state title for the 1st time ever after reaching the ship twice before. It was amazing.
