The LAMMERGEIER/40F ? That was my thought as well. It has a design where the armored foil seems to partially enclose a very small main core part similarly to how the one in the trailer does. It seems to be designed for airflow through most of the core to lower wind-resistance. I'm wondering if something similar is going on with the one in the trailer. Also it's a quadruped, not a tetrapod. There are six-legged MTs in AC6, but no six-legged AC parts. I make that mistake too though so I'm not one to judge. Ha ha.

hooooold up, not only is the tattoo a white glint reference, but the literal white glints of light in his eyes are focused on in the last shot.. what does this meaaaan bruh
The core-part from the Shade-Eye/AALIYAH segment is most likely inspired by the Lammergeier Core. It’s the only ac I can think of that could be completely hollow.
that episode for secret level will have my attention. as its the first time we will have an adaptation of AC in tv and film....which has never happened before
At the very least it'll be interesting to watch because we've never ever seen AC in that kind of almost live action animation before I hope they do it justice.
That was a good analysis video from such a short scenes lol. Overall, I'm keeping very low expectation due to the fact that this will be about 30 min one episode. It's definitely appreciative thing, but I think we shouldn't have too much expectation on what it will only cover an episode. It could be good, but judging how love, death and robots were episodic and the mecha design on the trailer seems heavily interpreted in their own way, this could be 10% inspiration and 90% own story. Regardless, let's hope they make a good story out of it at least
6:08 I think the closest thing i can find that looks similar to that core piece is the LAMMERGEIER/40F, due to the angular and windowed look of it. The LAMM does have some open portions underneath its front breast and core block pieces but i believe that is stretching it a little. I think a reason as to why it looks like that is thanks to the actual armour sliding back to reveal the core of the AC
I'm not certain, but I think the mono-eyed AC on the left at 5:35 might actually be Balteus, or at least some sort of PCA mech. Just a hunch though, all those PCA mech have that mono-eye motif.
The way the head part is placed within the core part in that one shot reminds me of White Glint, which has a similar behavior when overed boosting. This is most apparent during the opening cinematic for Armored Core For Answer. So if you ask me we’re two for two on White Glint references in this trailer alone
Alas we're one step closer to a Armored core anime Jokes aside, i extremely agree on the point glint mentioned that the studio could've choose any of the legendary game series From software made ( Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden ring) and everyone would be hyped about it and us ravens wouldn't be surprised about it too, but the actual mad lads choose AC to make a animation It's funny how we went from 10yrs radio silence to eating this good in less than a year.
6:05, with that core part I think its something sorta like Balteus where its like an AC sat inside a larger housing. Could totally be wrong but just something that came to mind first
Those arms look like argyros heavy pattern arms but the rest of the AC looks middleweight. So yeah maybe some inspiration from old designs brought to a gen 6 artstyle
Other people have already mentioned the LAMMERGEIER core part being hollow but it actually first reminded me of ACV's last boss EXUSIA's core part EXUSIA wasn't an AC, if anything it was more like a NEXT, but if the show is a meld of 4th, 5th, and 6th gen then it might be possible that it's related Just thought would point that out since didn't see anyone else mention EXUSIA, but if I were to guess it does feel more based on the LAMMERGEIER/40F
Not gonna lie, the core part almost reminds me of the LAMMERGEIER/40F from Armored Core 6 considering how it looks a bit more exposed as compared to other core parts you would normally see
I knew the parts from what little we got to see kinda seemed like a bit of a mix between different eras tho it's gonna be a tad odd to finally see humans in ac outside of like a singular mission in one of the older games and the cinematics where grunts are running around lol.
The Core on the frontal shot look like the LAMMERGEIER/40F from the parts added in the free update for Fire of Rubicon As for the arm, the close I can think of is either the ARGYROS/A from For Answer or the ZAN-616/AUR from Another Age From what we saw, I think the show will take from all gens (heavy and bulky, yet small ACs, like the first and second gen, the VOB, the color palette of Rubicon) and I’m totally in for it!
the core part in that one shot seems to be really similar to that one core part in ac6, the LAMMERGEIER/40F, a Schneider part, as seen by the central pointy thing goint towards the front and the open sections around it exposing it and sort of holding it in a 'bowl'
6:03 I believe that looks a lot like Exusia from Armored Core 5, i think I may be crazy but i just have like an odd feeling. If it’s all the games mashed into one episode then I could see Exusia rising from the rubble brought up by another corporation.
Let’s get serious here. The only reason it’s not or there aren’t any Dark Souls Animated adaptations is because the world is too complex, world-building alone will blow up the budget if they want it to be accurate, and they’ll be eaten alive by the fandom if there are miss interpretations of the lore. AC is a huge win.
Thanks for the video I'm intrested to see how they adopt a franchise that rarely shows people with a silent protagonist. Though that also gives them a chance to create their own carecters that show the more human side of AC making me feel kind of bad for the destroy the factory mission.
I'm a bit late to this one, but in regards to the front shot of the AC, it's core reminds me of the CR-LAHIRE Omer made core from AC4A. Obviously not the big open part, but the overall shape and curvature of it.
Well after careful analysis. I think this might actually be in 6th gen. Here's the reason: 1. The blue booster color. If it was in 4th-5th gen it would be orange whiteish color. Because of kojima particle. But instead, its blue. The color many AC in 6 have. Sure 5th gen have blue but 5th gen blue is blue mix with orange, basically flame. 2. Notice the red eyes on the AC? The red glow heavily feature in 6. AC6 reveal trailer, AC6 story trailer, and even during in game cutscene when Arquebus capture institute city, all of them show red glow. 4th gen doesnt have this and 5th gen does have red glow but they are like 5 meter tall. 3. You might not know this, but AC6 was supposed to have back booster like in FA. But it was cut. Although the alpha version of back booster was simple and kinda look generic. What if they remodel the back booster to look like VOB? And iirc, when 621 enter Rubicon, the capsule does seem to have VOB as well but its too big. 4. There also recent steamdb internal test, meaning that an update is coming. This is my theory, what if the secret level AC will be playable in 6? And if the secret level AC VOB is actually back booster, it mean playable back booster will return. Also the AC might be a teaser for AC6.5 aesthetic. Like how Aretha teased AA and speed back in 4th gen. Or it could just be like what i said back then. An original timeline unique to the movie. Like how most AC media outside of game is their own timeline mismatched of many gen.
Humans? In my armored core? I make exceptions because it's Keanu Reeves as John Rubicon, the Mr. Armored core himself. I genuinely can't wait to watch this. I will die from how epic this is. This AC revival is going so hard. It sounds greedy, but i can't wait for this, and what comes next for AC Also, that core part seen before the keanu reeves shot looks sorta like the Lammergeier core from AC6. That open concept with the cone shape of what i assume to be the core in the middle feels very much inspired by the Lammergeier core. At least, it does to me from this brief shot
I hope it’s like a 45 min episode with some good mech fights and not like a 15 or 12 min short or something cuz as of rn we don’t have the runtime I don’t think
Gen 5 acs are hella tiny. Like 5 meters. And their Cockpits open from the front, kind alike a Gundam. Unlike every other Gen where the cockpit opens from a hatch behind the head and drops down like a tank. And all ACs plus Nexts are 10 meters tall For source look up Zendia's trailer for Last Raven. It shows her leaving her cockpit. Then the gen 5 cockpit source is from one of the official artbooks
in the shot with the ac the on the left the shoulder kinda looks like a nachtreicher arm piece, or atleast its shoulder does and the core is sorta similar as the lamm core both from ac6 btw
I really didn't expected the Armored Core to be in there, super excited for it. I suppose it's a mixture of Gen 3 through 6. And they even got a Keanu Reeves for the role of none of other than John Rubicon himself. 4:19 My bet is that a "Spirit of Motherwill", I guess? Other legs seems to be completely destroyed. It's a speculation, but still... I hope it won't be a total disappointment.
Maybe I'm jumping into conclusions and maybe I'm alone in this but, honestly, the couple frames we got from the Armored Core episode looked like it went throuhg the Hollywood filter seven times. They had nothing of the flavour Fromsoft's cinematic hav, nor it looked like they were even triying. I'd go as far as to say that if you can see the pilot, is not actually an Armored Core story
Like i said in the discord I belive we see the story of 4 and FA from an different viewpoint then strayed and anatolias merc One were he was an raven but sidnt had enough ams companility to pilot an next
thinking about it, AC actually make sense as opposed to the souls games. It's a universe with more clear storylines, yet having more room for doing something unique and still be easily recognizable as THAT GAME. Souls games are amazing, but it's mostly the gameplay that gives you that feel. from boss fights to dying over and over again. sure there are certain themes you see, like dark fantasy, but that's so broad its hard to work with unless you straight up create a character that just plays through 1 of the souls games. With armoured core you have a very recognizable mecha aesthetic that is unique, so whatever you create, as long as the mechs look like they are from AC, it'll succeed at least in the recognition. That and from what ive seen in Love, Death and Robots, this studio likes sci fi a bit more i believe, but who am i to say that you know lol
Other the them possibly just liking Armored Core over other things is that there is just so little competition in the mech genre. There's definitely nothing really new to go up against.
Shower though on the V.O.B. While the device proper shows up only in AC4, doesn't Raven-621 enter Rubicon in a vehicle with a very similar design ethos?
"john Rubicon"? AHHH! why do people keep saying " john halo" "john fallout" "john crysis" etc. it's stupid and irritating. now could everyone please stop saying it, BEFORE I HAVE A MASSIVE HEARTATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!! (end of rant. got it out of my system now)

Just thought would point that out since didn't see anyone else mention EXUSIA, but if I were to guess it does feel more based on the LAMMERGEIER/40F
Not gonna lie, the core part almost reminds me of the LAMMERGEIER/40F from Armored Core 6 considering how it looks a bit more exposed as compared to other core parts you would normally see
there is a core part that looks very simular to the one in shown in the close up, its called the LAMMERGEIER/40F
I knew the parts from what little we got to see kinda seemed like a bit of a mix between different eras tho it's gonna be a tad odd to finally see humans in ac outside of like a singular mission in one of the older games and the cinematics where grunts are running around lol.
The Core on the frontal shot look like the LAMMERGEIER/40F from the parts added in the free update for Fire of Rubicon
As for the arm, the close I can think of is either the ARGYROS/A from For Answer or the ZAN-616/AUR from Another Age
From what we saw, I think the show will take from all gens (heavy and bulky, yet small ACs, like the first and second gen, the VOB, the color palette of Rubicon) and I’m totally in for it!
the core part in that one shot seems to be really similar to that one core part in ac6, the LAMMERGEIER/40F, a Schneider part, as seen by the central pointy thing goint towards the front and the open sections around it exposing it and sort of holding it in a 'bowl'
6:03 I believe that looks a lot like Exusia from Armored Core 5, i think I may be crazy but i just have like an odd feeling. If it’s all the games mashed into one episode then I could see Exusia rising from the rubble brought up by another corporation.
We got John core with this one.
Dark souls may have been what made the money; But Armored Core is what kept the lights on.
6:09 The exposed core part looks to be similar to the newly introduced Lammergeier core from AC6's ranked update with new armor parts and weapons
If its analog'd ACs look abit of a unit (not chonky as gen 5), they could gen 1-2 but we'll find out soon!
True, I'd love it to be gen 1 but sadly I think they won't go for it too much
Thank you Silver Glint, very cool
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the video I'm intrested to see how they adopt a franchise that rarely shows people with a silent protagonist. Though that also gives them a chance to create their own carecters that show the more human side of AC making me feel kind of bad for the destroy the factory mission.
Absolutely I'm stoked to see what they come up with by using actual human characters on screen
Here's the reason:
The core part seems close to the Lammergeier core from AC6
Humans? In my armored core?
I make exceptions because it's Keanu Reeves as John Rubicon, the Mr. Armored core himself.
I genuinely can't wait to watch this. I will die from how epic this is. This AC revival is going so hard. It sounds greedy, but i can't wait for this, and what comes next for AC
Also, that core part seen before the keanu reeves shot looks sorta like the Lammergeier core from AC6. That open concept with the cone shape of what i assume to be the core in the middle feels very much inspired by the Lammergeier core. At least, it does to me from this brief shot
The Revival is going INCREDIBLY hard, we're so back
@SilverGlint we were gone for a decade, but we are so back and from is cooking so hard, and we are eating so good
I dunno if someone already mentioned it, but the emblem on the fore hand looks like a headphone
New info, couldn't see it and I didn't read any comments on it
I can't believe it...a romantic comedy starring John Rubicon himself...
Like a dream come true
AC6 was my favorite game of the generation,I just wish I'd have found the series earlier!
Awesome to know, don't worry Raven - it's always a good time to get into AC! Hope you try the other games too
I hope it’s like a 45 min episode with some good mech fights and not like a 15 or 12 min short or something cuz as of rn we don’t have the runtime I don’t think
Gen 5 acs are hella tiny. Like 5 meters. And their Cockpits open from the front, kind alike a Gundam.
Unlike every other Gen where the cockpit opens from a hatch behind the head and drops down like a tank. And all ACs plus Nexts are 10 meters tall
For source look up Zendia's trailer for Last Raven. It shows her leaving her cockpit.
Then the gen 5 cockpit source is from one of the official artbooks
The core with the holes reminds me of the LAMMERGEIER/40F core they look kind of similar
How about Fromsoftware gives us those AC parts for its release.
Now THAT would be insane
Mann you missed the white glint in John Rubicon his eye's. Might be a reference aswell
Great video as always! Super excited for that
In the armored core Twitter they said it's a "new saga"
I'm curious as to what they meant by that
Thank you! Absolutely stoked to see what the hell they mean by that, one thing we know for certain, Armored Core is back and here to stay.
@@SilverGlint hell yes
We won, Raven!
How insane would it be if this was to announce ac6 sequel
It would be VERY insane
in the shot with the ac the on the left the shoulder kinda looks like a nachtreicher arm piece, or atleast its shoulder does and the core is sorta similar as the lamm core both from ac6 btw
More AC!
If you think I'm watching an AI script get read by an AI robot about a game where brains connect to AI's you're insane.
You're definitely watching a human script get read by AI about a game where brains connect to AI though!
5:49 : I think it's more like F22 Raptor TSF from Muv Luv Alternative than an AC
for the last scene, the arms remind me of the tian lao arms
ARMORED CORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MY STEEL CORE!!!!!!
Armor core has dragons now w wow
Armored Dragon Core
@@SilverGlint two ones are better than 1 true number 1 is 11
He's literally me
I really didn't expected the Armored Core to be in there, super excited for it.
One can hope! In any case this is a complete first for the franchise so it's always a win regardless!
Some of. These shots could be mech warrior, titan fall
You're always right in being skeptical and having reasonably low expectations but I do think it's going to be at the very least enjoyable!
@@SilverGlint Let's hope so!
Like i said in the discord
I belive we see the story of 4 and FA from an different viewpoint then strayed and anatolias merc
One were he was an raven but sidnt had enough ams companility to pilot an next
This could be interesting but I'm not sure if that's the case! We'll have to wait and see
thinking about it, AC actually make sense as opposed to the souls games.
Absolutely spot on I agree 💯% it is leagues more recognizable
Ew, fleshy humans? In my armored core? Gross.
Other the them possibly just liking Armored Core over other things is that there is just so little competition in the mech genre. There's definitely nothing really new to go up against.
That's a great point
Shower though on the V.O.B. While the device proper shows up only in AC4, doesn't Raven-621 enter Rubicon in a vehicle with a very similar design ethos?
I'd like to think that booster set used to enter Rubicon more closely resembles the space capsule from AC2 but you're right it's not Farfetched
am I the only one that is excited about the megaman one?
I'm excited about all of them honestly
5:50 it kinda looks like the Nachtreiher core
Where are you getting that ACFA footage from, it looks insanely crisp? And more importantly, how is Motherwill not causing the framerate to die?
I'm recording it myself using OBS at fairly high settings and bitrate, running ps3 emulator at 4k cranked to the max I can!
5:22 that's probably a shield
I hope Next show up And be boss of the episode 😃
"john Rubicon"? AHHH! why do people keep saying " john halo" "john fallout" "john crysis" etc. it's stupid and irritating. now could everyone please stop saying it, BEFORE I HAVE A MASSIVE HEARTATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!! (end of rant. got it out of my system now)
Mayhaps this will tie in with AC6 Pt2?
I hope it's something along those lines, but we never know!
the open core is lammergeier core
to the point with a hollowed core, lammergeier?
