This looks like a winner. I am probably gonna ditch my Galaxy S8 for this. I love LG's fingerprint sensor, cameras (they're better than Samsung's IMO), wonderful DAC for music, and while their software is ugly, it's much lighter. My G6 is still lightning fast. My S8 is not... :(

It'll get lost in the V30 naming. But man I think I'd get this over a Samsung any day! Looks really nice and I bet it won't lag like an S8. As much as I love the v30, I dont think I can switch from my v20 simply due to not having a removable back and battery. One of the main reasons I grabbed the V series of phones cause they kept that trend

What I don't get with phone companies is why they can't just include some sort of rubber-sealed thing to go in the headphone jack while you're not using it, because some of the reason for companies like apple removing it is because of water resistance
LG and Samsung compete it literally every single market. Budget phones, Phablets, flagship phones, tablets, laptops, dish washers, TV's, fridges, washing machines, flip phones, wireless headphones, dedicated cameras, security cameras, wireless speakers, printers. And then there's apple making more money then both of them with just phones.

I really do not see the point of not sticking with 16:9. The S8 Plus looks too long for example. At least with the S8 series, you can stretch the screen out on videos. Whats the audio quality like?
one hand use would be a good feature.. but because of big display you can't.. LG can release a smaller version with 5 inch display. Also supported with latest & upcoming android OS.
This one of the best phones launched by LG so far and it checks all the right boxes. Now all LG needs to do is to not put a ridiculous price tag and also provide a good software experience and this will sell like hot cakes.
