Steve, looks like you leveled up. You are getting there! That first lap, your driving was much more....concentrated, your driving was different than before. I can tell you've been driving more, on the sim and in real life. You have the speed, but you need to stop thinking too much. The right car with the attitude of the second 7:50 lap....that is the winning combo! The speed is there already, you just need to tap into it. You need to get into " the zone" . Just recently did the X class leaderboard at full nords on Forza Motorsport on the wheel and got the world record. This track is a brutal mistress, but theres no other feeling than absolutely nailing a lap here. Great job 👏👏
That's the ultimate proof that a pro Sim Rig is definitely worth the money. Every day one GT player knows exactly what I mean: Imagine how many controllers most of us would have smashed just for this one time trial? Such a Fanatec wheel is solid mounted. You just cannot throw it instantly against a wall. And even if you are Chuck Norris, you would smash the wall with it. What is definitely cheaper to fix.😅
You should check the wheel settings, it can be tuned for better control of the car. Sometimes less force feedback force is easier to drive, also sensitivity etc...
Absolutely insane how quick those leaderboards changed. You went from a very high leaderboard time early on to the very next day, that time was bumped down to the top 120 😮
Being too conscious of the slightest of improvements can really be stressful, knowing that you can push further but only end up making mistakes instead.
lol, watching this got me back to playing. Well, GT3. When I was younger I could dominate this game. This video reminds me of my usual play through. Lots of anger till the time I wanted lol. Good watch. The ghost almost always screws me up when behind or blinded by them.
I feel your frustration, I haven’t played GT7 on a long time but I always found these to be infuriating. The fact it’s green hell only worsens it because of how long the track is.
26:39. It’s yours and my favorite part of the track for one simple reason. We’ve both done this section (rounding to the nearest billionth) one billion times for the IA-10 license. I got it. But damn if it wasn’t almost the death of me.
