This is your opinion,.. many many other people liked and loved this movie.. what was special about this movie, was the emotional bond betwen father and daughter.. this is what many other movies tried to do, but failed when compared to this movie. like Armageddon for example.. yes it was an asteroid cowboy adwenture with some mixture of something else inside, but the relationship father daughter was also wery strong inside.
i was lucky enough to see Hanz Zimmer at the Proms and accidentally booked tickets that were right next to the giant Organ and when they got to this piece I could feel my very soul vibrating with the power of this wonderful instrument, I've never forgotten it years later. Massive respect to any and all organ players out there
@Mahdi Kassem which god? Every country believe in one or more gods and everyone are sure that his god is the only one! BTW no god give me anything! My mother and my dad gave me their biological material and then them and other humans gave me their knowledge by studying or making experience! I can't see a flying guy on a cloud give me something!
@Mahdi Kassem one last answer, then I will avoid discussing theology in a language that does not belong to me! The primitives invented the gods for phenomena they did not understand such as the sun, lightning or fire! Then those gods became obsolete and it was necessary to invent a new god to convince people to follow a moral code and pour money into the pockets of the priests! Now even that God is obsolete, since we live in a society made up of laws! The most terrible thing is that God was imposed with violence and blood (and still now in some countries)! If believing in a higher entity makes you feel good, I'm really happy for you, I don't judge, but don't try to convince others! I'm a good person and my moral conduct is perfect even without a god in my heart!
I’ve been an alcoholic for a couple years now, and this is the most sobering music I’ve ever heard. This is more sobering than in the movie. Please keep it coming
For the movie scene that goes with this amazing piece of music, I suffer from nausea every time I listen to it. When you watch Endurance spinning at 68 RPM on an IMAX screen, you never get it out of your head again...
Just what is it about this simple melody that we find so touching and so profound? It is a few notes strung together in a chain, the notes make vibrations in our ears, we then interpret it with our brain as wonderful. Chemicals are then stimulated that are sent to the feeling side of our emotions. We are then moved and exhilarated with tears sometimes. Somehow we are in a place that we love being in, we yearn for more. Either you feel it or you don't, either you love it or you don't. Either it makes you feel love or it does not, either you are moved in your heart or you are not. For me, I can say... I JUST CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF THIS MUSIC! I FEEL IT DEEPLY.
How is that even possible, that after all this time and all those listens I have serious friggin goosebumps all over my body and tears in my ears? This piece is like modern Bach, pure soul and pain of humanity crystallized into air vibrations...
The deafening silence in the beginning matches the deafening silence of the Endurance's explosion in space! Pulling out all stops on the organ matches Cooper starting up the Lander. Brilliant, mon ami!
Absolutely breathtaking. I dream that one day more people like you will perform this at Cathedrals and Churches all across the world for everyone to experience!
+Grissini Project I am! For a while I did not know I could get the sheet music, so I would watch the video over and over to try to pick out what you were playing and how you were playing it.
Menno Kuipers lol what a load of pretentious crap..too loud or not, its very well done. Still sounds beautiful. The tempo siunds fine to me, maybe a note or two too fast...but who cares.
I found the choice of music for this scene in the movie interesting, because the Pipe Organ was the most complex man-made device in the 19th century. Nowadays space shuttles are thought to be man's most complex device. The large, complex instrument of the organ was used to emulate the large complexity of the space shuttle trying to dock. Anyway well done!
Mon cœur bat à mille à l’heure j’ai des frissons et les larmes aux yeux... cette musique est tellement belle et l’interprétation magnifiquement réussie
Epic. How beautiful we, as people, are. To be able to create and play these sounds to express ourselves. We have a darkest side. We have a brightest side. Which side do YOU choose?
A friend and I just played this song in concert on the largest organ in the midwest yesterday. I want to give a huge thanks to Grissini Project for making this arrangement, it sounded amazing! You are an amazing musician. Also thank you for responding to my questions about the song earlier when I just starting to make this performance possible.

Massive respect to any and all organ players out there
I like to play this shit when I park my car

Best part of the whole piece.
Starting gave me goosebumps and tears filled my eyes
I could listen to this all day. Absolutely love it.
The organ is truly the king of all instruments
this is the power of human beings: building these magnificent musical instruments and creating something just as splendid like this piece
I love the organ, it's like its own orchestra.
I’ve been an alcoholic for a couple years now, and this is the most sobering music I’ve ever heard. This is more sobering than in the movie. Please keep it coming
if they have to move this instrument to another church, is it called organ transplant?
Plot Twist I think It's custom made for that church...not sure
they missed the joke... lol
Plot Twist I don't believe it is possible to move, unless you tore down part of the church.
try and understand THE JOKE.

One of the greatest videos with music on youtube!
After all these years, Alexei has finally returned to us!
For the movie scene that goes with this amazing piece of music, I suffer from nausea every time I listen to it. When you watch Endurance spinning at 68 RPM on an IMAX screen, you never get it out of your head again...
Such a nice experience...
The human being is extraordinary.
Momento Freak no the design is perfect
Nabendo momento, a very courageous remark
Nothing is new under the sun.
I love that there is a community of people that love this as much as me. Listening to this makes me appreciate life so much, the world is beautiful.
How is that even possible, that after all this time and all those listens I have serious friggin goosebumps all over my body and tears in my ears? This piece is like modern Bach, pure soul and pain of humanity crystallized into air vibrations...
Do not go gentle into that good night.

How can anyone deslike it??? I just can't stop to hear almost everyday this amazing performance!!
This song makes me happy in a way I can't explain beautifully and masterfully played congratulations
I've ordered the score and I have been playing it. Wonderfully put together!
+Grissini Project I am! For a while I did not know I could get the sheet music, so I would watch the video over and over to try to pick out what you were playing and how you were playing it.
+Grissini Project I saw that in one of your responses to a recent comment. Very glad Musicnotes is a thing!
this is so beautiful, it sounds like the angels are singing in heaven, truly remarkable, well done Hans Zimmer!!!!!!!
Who could possibly dislike this?
Dr. Mann or others who had bad experiences with airlocks.
it's way too loud, it's gotta be played sentimentally
never mind
Menno Kuipers lol what a load of pretentious crap..too loud or not, its very well done. Still sounds beautiful. The tempo siunds fine to me, maybe a note or two too fast...but who cares.
Dan Notz shut up i said never mind cuz i realised it wasn't the piece i thought i was
"C'MON TARS!… C'MON TARS!"
Ok bro
I found the choice of music for this scene in the movie interesting, because the Pipe Organ was the most complex man-made device in the 19th century. Nowadays space shuttles are thought to be man's most complex device. The large, complex instrument of the organ was used to emulate the large complexity of the space shuttle trying to dock. Anyway well done!
+Ted Kutina interesting observation.
Not that it matters at all but the Large Hadron Collider is probably the most complex "device".
Mon cœur bat à mille à l’heure j’ai des frissons et les larmes aux yeux... cette musique est tellement belle et l’interprétation magnifiquement réussie
Epic.
How beautiful we, as people, are.
To be able to create and play these sounds to express ourselves.

It really has been a dream of mine to play the organ I got to play on and you made it possible. Thank you again for everything!
I haven't even seen the movie but this makes me want to. Left me speechless.
Watch it its highly recommended if your into scifi.
I went to see it for the second time on yesterday. This is a particular movie but highly recomended
Do it. I’m a weeab who is never into sci-fi and this is easily one of my fav movies ever.

Any plans to cover more Hans Zimmer? I'd love to hear your interpretation of his version of Elgar's Nimrod from the Dunkirk soundtrack.
Brilliantly made!
I had goosebumps. The coldness of space, the danger, the feel... It's all there! Well done my friend!
