Shows secret hunter is pretty good even if you always start a card down.
it adds a combo finisher rather than even tempo throughout capping with zuljin. very similar decks though, disappointed to see so few new cards in it.

I made a mech version of this with Flark and micro tech, and it does decently. Won 6/8 games losing only too Conjurer's mage with a perfect start and Quest Singleton druid who won through attrition.
Flark is absurd in Quest Hunter, i run basically every swarm and bomb card in it
@@paolo8665 I was working with the cards I had, not wanting to spend dust for a few weeks, until the meta settles. I didn't unpack and swarms and I always love an excuse to run Flark.
@@primordialsun With swarms i mean the cards from the old expansions dude, microtech the 4 mana 3/2 bomb mech, Snip Snap, Giggling Inventor and obviously Flark
@@primordialsun Flark was awesome in aggressive bomb hunter too. Funniest finisher ever, it's like 'go ahead, clear it and you'll die' and at the same time 'oh so you didn' t clear all of em well there ya go wargear'.

That first game was beautiful: the quest did the same as a holy smite to the enemy hero turn 1. The legend has returned
Second game was insane
the opponent1.doesn’t draw charge murloc 2.doesn’t get it from random generation
don't forget the 1-in-5 chance of the damage lackey from slurper too. Damn.
Game could easily ended if the opponent drew a spell damage card too.

3:19. Misplay - should have combined snip snaps which would greater play around unleash (deadly is less probable to hit it) and it ended up hurting his snake trap as well.
that middle game was sick AF...1hp on turn 4 and still pulls it out. Murlocs weakness is finishing, particularly when the opponent has any kind of board clears or control type spells.

He wasn’t referring to his own start. He meant after his opponent managed to get pretty much the most aggressive start possible and get Kripp to 1hp on turn 4, which is ridiculous.

I made an amazing Quest Hunter deck on expansion release. Most people 'myself include' saw the hyena card as an amazing valuehouse(and it is) but it doesn't quite work with the quest(shocking!). The secret portion of the deck that is include with the hyena just hinders the quest portion. (No good) What i instead added was "BEASTS!!" [Which includes cards like]: spirit, scavenging, timber and dire wolf, and [the Key cards for the quest]: Revenge of the wild, Halazzi, the lynx, and lastly Swarm of locus.
-This improved the quest by so much, average completion is turn 7-8 and it still function as a good aggro deck.

I like the revenge route, even with just hounds and locusts for synergy. I'd probably cut one, or both, of the hunter's packs for a copy. Two copies can be pretty cloggy though, but I can see it.
The quest would be ok if they make it 15 minions

same with the warlock quest. it should be 15 cards. 20 is a little too much
not just brian nah the warlock quest is super easy with plot twist, you can complete it as early as turn 5 and even if your late like turn 8 if you use raffaam you only really need it at turn 9

Peowcatpeow I can’t really speak for blizzard, but the whole point of a QUEST, is that your meeting the requirements for the quest, and YOU get rewarded for completing YOUR quest, you shouldn’t be punished for playing cards because your opponent played a quest and vice versa. I also think that a deck that can sit back and not do anything while the opponent completes the quest for you is a bit much. You could play spell hunter, with no summoning minions mechanics and complete the quest because your opponent did it for you, and if that ends up being meta, then the counter is to play a spell hunter with no minion summoning mechanics, so it makes the game really unhealthy, I’m not saying it is healthy at the moment, but for your opponent to interact with your quest directly is too much in my opinion, just like you shouldn’t be able to interact with your secrets more than casting them, it’s a completely reaction card and if you could trigger rat trap or something or your own turn that would also be unhealthy in my opinion.

That turn 4 1 hp reminded me of turn 3 6hp vs a tempo rogue. Guy had perfect curve while going second which worked better for him. This meta is so much faster right now. Even the long games feel faster than some of the past metas.
I LOVE quest hunter. i built a deck, played it for the past three days, and pushed from rank 9 to 2 with a %72 win rate. You weren't wrong Kripp

Quest paladin is by far the most underrated deck in my opinion and absolutely crushes control warrior and is about even again Druid.

Actually ever since the expansion launched I've been playing this really powerful zoo warlock deck With of course the new dark pharaoh. but there's one card in this deck that I think you should take a look at, Kripp. It really makes this deck extremely powerful. "Octosari".... I know you probably think I'm crazy but trust me that card in this deck is amazing!
I made my own quest hunter on day one. I took it into the heroic brawl and rattled off 7 wins in a row. Was really surprised

Cult Master has been sooooo useful, swarm of locusts and unleash, even snip snap plus that one 2-drop that summons the locust w rush give so many options especially if not running master's call or hunter's pack
In my version of quest hunter I run dire frenzy and scale hide just for the games in which I’m fighting a deck more aggressive than I am. I also like to use my personal favorite neutral card atm bug catcher because getting the 1/1 rush with it is just really nice.

I have been playing quest paladin, I have yet to see a quest hunter complete the quest by the time I beat them, currently at 100% vs quest hunters. Damn near 100% win rate with the exception of quest wall priest. I tossed in a witch's cauldron to help beat those.
Uuh bro, hunter quest is cpmpleted at turn 7 or 8 on average let's say, so if you always beat quest hunter before they complete the quest it means that on average you win turn 7/8 at max, which makes you an aggressive deck, in which case I would very much like to see your decklist, because I never faced an aggro quest paladin. Also if you play aggro there's no point of playing the quest because games are finished before you actually complete the quest, and the reward isn't even an aggro hero power, so you might as well juste cut out the quest or make a coherent deck or something? Also, what rank are you playing at again?

I play a version where I only run the snake secret for tempo and quest completion but minions like hench-clan hogshead that trigger twice with death rattle and Revenge of the wild. Makes it almost a token deck that kills you like token druid
I love playing quest hunter with flarks boomzooka, 9 lifes and deathrattel minions like highmane, splitting festeroot and eccentric scribe.

I think the mech package + Flark might be the way to go. Flark with the hero power activator has ridiculous burst. There's also some decent minions like snip-snap, microtech, Replicating menace, and Explodinator that are decent vehicles without relying too heavily on Swarm of Locusts just to complete the quest.
Exactly, i run the mech package and also Giggling Inventor and that 5/1 rush mech that gives you more rush elementals, with the quest activated is a very good removal and it also helps to complete it

Been playing quest Hunter since the release of the exp and have to say, a Beast Hunter version seems to work best. Struggle against quest Rogue a bit though.

I like this quest. It’s fun to summon a bunch of minions and power them up
I have absolutely no idea why Kripp even gave this quest 5 stars in his earlier video where he rated all the cards (this was before the expansion released). Everyone knew that summoning 20 minions is just too strict of a requirement for this quest to work, idk how Kripp didn't see it coming.
Well it's the same as shuffle warlock, most of em win because of the deathrattle synergies and almost never get to finish the quest, well then remove the quest, makes it 10 times better. Same with this deck, it just takes too long to complete the quest for it to be actually useful.

That 2nd game though. The ONLY secret Kripp could play to stay alive was explosive. With that in mind you need to trade against secret keeper before you attack. Doing that would've won him the game the turn after. That shaman deserved to lose.
If you magnetize Snip Snap does it not count as you summoning a minion?

Great video! Hunter is by far my favourite class in Hearthstone. Opening 80 packs later today, and I really hope I get 1 of the 2 hunter legendaries as golden.

I was getting success with quest hunter. Similar to the list in the third game but with the rush lifesteal beast and the shuffle into my deck card. Can beat warrior in super long games.

God damnit kripp. I had a golden hunter quest and was playing and it seemed alright, even was beating control warrior. Then I saw your murloc paladin video and was like "oh shit, I'm hype as fuck!" And I dusted my golden hunter quest to build it. Maybe it's my fault, but this is like your rubbing the salt off of you and into my wound.

Probably not, while it synergizes with the quest without the quest its mostly just a vanilla minion.

Kripp would have lost the second game if the murloc shaman wasn't bad.
There was no reason not to trade into Secret Keeper before triggering the secret.
The next turn Kripp trades 2 extra Locusts and the turn after he is dead because he can't full trade.

Man I wanna try all these new cards and quests why does this game have to be more expensive than anything else. Even buying the most expensive pre order (the price of a full game) isn't enough to get all the cards from the expansion.
