      Thank you for sharing, 9 years is a long time, and it's the most uncomfortable feeling. Would you say it has improved or your use to it?

    I feel your pain as l’m listening to you. I have the same all over twitches and sometimes l feel l can not take them anymore, to the point l need someone to hold me tight so l can stop moving but it won’t stop because the twitching is internal. Some twitches are visible, like the eye video you showed. I also believe it’s caused by my hypothyroidism.
    I wish you better.

    Oh my goodness. Thank you for calming me. I’ve been having full body twitching for 3 months now after stopping taking levothyroxine and trying a thyroid supplement as I wanted to go for a more natural route. I have hypothyroidism. I just got tested again and I have a TSH of 4.4. I guess I’ll have to go back on levo, but your video really calmed me. I was convinced I had a neuro illness. Doctors said it was probably because of dehydration but I drink tons of water; take magnesium, potassium etc. I know the culprit is definitely my hypo acting up since I stopped my meds.

    • @mdragon12
      @mdragon12 ปีที่แล้ว

      How did you feel like while on levothyroxine? Any side effects? Also does 4.8 mean hypo?

    • @marlidee836
      @marlidee836 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mdragon12 I’ve been on levo for many years and I was always fine with it, had no Side effects personally. Per my doctor’s request, i have restarted taking it almost two weeks ago and it has helped with the severity of the body twitches I spoke of in my original comment.. I think there are charts on Google that will tell you what a normal TSH level is!

      @@mdragon12 My TSH of 4.4 was in fact hypo. I believe anything over 4.0 is.

      I have the exact same thing.... I have hypothyroidism (7.42) below from normal range (8.9-17.2) and i also suffer from full body muscle twitching since 2 months... I wonder how a muscle twitch is related with hypothyroidism?? However are u fine now?

    • @marlidee836
      @marlidee836 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ARtlean_ULtra Hi, I started taking my medication again and it definitely helped. I think I got used to it so I do still have twitching but my doctor confirmed it is nothing serious and the less I think about it the better I am. I barely notice it anymore.

    I've been recently diagnosed with Hashimotos and I'm so, so relieved that I found another person with thyroid issues that had the muscle twitching, I keep convincing myself I have a neuro disease like MS or something and it's making me scared

      I’m dealing with the same thing. I’ve had hypothyroidism for 4 years and recently stopped my meds to go for a more natural route. I’ve had full body twitching since I’ve stopped so obviously my levels are messed up since I’m not on my meds anymore but I seriously convinced myself I had MS.

      Same with me. I keep getting scared and stressed and it happens more.

    My twitching started last year, after I found out I have hashimoto’s antibodies, went to Nuro he didn’t found anything. Said it’s stress. It stopped for some time. Now it started again and even more and now I have hypothyroid.
    I want to believe it’s linked to thyroid and I don’t wanna stress more. 🙏

    I’ve been having full body twitches for 4 days now. I also believe it’s linked to my thyroid. A month ago I had blood work done and my TSH levels were severe and recently got retest and my levels are still low

    I keep waking up after a nap or in the middle of the night with half my body twitching rhythmically. It doesn't stop for 5-10 minutes. I just have to sit or lie there and wait. Sometimes it's certain muscles and sometimes it's different ones. Yesterday it was my upper body, today it was my hamstrings. I can't find anything and the advice nurse called back the wrong number

    Hey ! Any cure for this. I think I have health anxiety for like past 2-3 months and the more I think the more symptoms I feel. It started with a bruise on my breast and I thought I have breast cancer. I thought like this alot and got a spasm in my breast. It was fine after some medications but after those medications I started having these twitches all over my body. Random twitch when I'm at rest, and now I think I have something else. It's driving me nuts please help

    Hi! I was previously under active but I’ve recently in Jan 23 been diagnosed with over reactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) due to over treatment and I have similar full body twitching. It’s very intermittent atm but annoying as you’ve described. I am on levothyroxine trying to find the balance so hopefully once it’s in order it’ll help and reduce the fasciculations/twitches. Can I ask what medicine you were given to relax your muscles?! So I can consider this option with my gp if it doesn’t subside. Did you take an other vitamins or supplements to help? Thank you for sharing your experience also. It’s been very useful. Well articulated! Loved

      Thank you for sharing, it was a sleeping tablet that was given to me. It helped for a while and stopped. Nope, I did not take any other supplements because it wasn’t needed as per my blood results.

      Hi Kitty, I also get twitching all over body and some weakness in my muscles. The internet will diagnose you with ALS or MS or NMD. I am going through the motions of getting checked by Neuro. However, this year they found a nodule on my thyroid with vascularity. My TSH was close to being low. I feel that my symptoms might be related to hyperthyroidism. I have read in several places that it can cause twitching throughout body. I'm curious to see how you are feeling these days?

      I wasn’t Lucy, I had to push hard and do a lot of research and ask questions, even though I was getting different responses from each doctors to come to the conclusion that twitching can be a long term side affect of thyroid problem even if your thyroid blood works are normal.
