Grow Your Palm Muscles for an Uncomfortable Hand

  • Having a thick hand can be a big advantage if your opponent is trying to contain you. It's the same when trying to lift a fat grip dumbbell versus a normal one. Although the hand thickness has a genetic component, it can certainly be trained and developed with specific exercises. One method is armwrestling a lot. But not all of us have the time or conditioning to armwrestle multiple times a week or daily so here are a few simple exercises to develop your palm muscles for a more uncomfortable hand..

    • @201_armwrestling
      @201_armwrestling  3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Not sure if it is worth the money but from all the grippers out there this one is pretty useful. Especially if you buy the pinch modules. But we have it part of our club equipment. Grippers are not a priority for armwrestling (especially strong, expensive ones). So if you don't have the basic armwrestling equipment I wouldn't worry about this gripper. I would just buy the light cheap one.

    Sorry....

    • @201_armwrestling
      @201_armwrestling  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No problem! It is just more easy to make people understand as not all have these concepts. So at least with isometrics you can multiply with 9.8 to get the force output in Newtons. Of course with spring machines you can't really say but it is the equivalent force of that amount on kg exerted with gravitational acceleration.

      @@201_armwrestling Yeah don't worry, I pointed that out only for the shake of accuracy. I never see videos using the right units, some creators even say stuff like "15 pounds of pressure" lol.
