Michael Shanks is awesome as Doctor Daniel Jackson on Stargate SG-1 & great as Carter Hall/ Hawkman! I love Smallville (including anything else that is Superman/Batman/DC Comics related), Stargate (SG-1 & Atlantis), & especially Star Trek (TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, & Enterprise)! Funny thing is I have noticed that a bunch of my favorite TV stars have done crossover appearances on Smallville, Stargate, & Star Trek! Lol. I loved this episode! It was so epic & emotional! They had done a good job!
I had watched the whole series of both smallville and stargate and yet i never relised Micheal Shanks played both Doctor Daniel Jackson and Hawman, and i also didnt relise Erica was in one of the episodes of stargate. face palm. How did I not pick that up
Erica Durance was on Stargate as a love interest for Tealc. Amanda Tapping gets around as well on the other Stargates. She has also appeared as the angel Naomi in Supernatural.
I'm surprised Clark didn't say something like "I'll see you in your next life" considering he will be around for a very long time. They brought that up a few times like in season 1's Hourglass & season 7's Cure but they never brought it up in terms of him losing Lois eventually & a character never brought it up to Lois regarding how Clark would be around way after she's dead. The episode Shield was the perfect time for Carter to bring up that point while he was with her in the desert.
Actually according to the comics lois doesn't die. She takes a serum and lives for thousands/millions of years until the sun goes super nova and goes with clark to live on another planet.
@@thomasraines1396 Hopefully not. Going by the crisis on infinite Earths cameo (Which I believe is considered canon). Clark gives up his powers using either blue or gold Kryptonite (not clear which one, probably blue). So he can age normally with Lois and have a family.
They do find Jay Garrick at one point in the comics and Bart does criticize him for not even having the decency to show up to his funeral, pointing out the fact he didn’t even really know the guy and he attended it.
@gerald3339 apparently its a device set by some government agency as the vigilante act passed. The chapter after this one shows many of the heroes trapped in a government lab. This is why... (Storytelling was not as sharp, because that episode was the infamous matrix smallville cheesiness, oh well, at least the series ended with a bang).
If when hawkman and hawkgirl die then how come hawkamn didn't come back later in small I'll if after they die they are ressurected and are supposed to come back alive so why didn't he

What was sad is no other Justice Society member (ie:The Green Lantern,The Flash, Wildcat etc) didn't attend funeral.
