Thanks for translating for us Englishers... a fascinating vehicle, and I hope it all goes back together! for those of us who love history and the history of WWII, I for one would plan a trip to Europe just to see this tank!
Great video. You guys should contact the Weald Foundation in England. They are experts at tank restoration and might be able to help. Hilary Doyle, who's a lead board member and the world's top expert on German tanks, could be particularly helpful since he specializes in German AFV blueprints and drafting.
Appreciate the translation. Do you know if any parts will be unoriginal, like engine, transmission, etc? Do you know anything about how long time there's left before the restoration is finished?
it will take many years for sure to complete. and a lot of parts inside will be made new, for example the fuel pipes. i will show it in the next parts.
@@historygun6329 I look forward to seeing more videos from you! When I meant unoriginal I meant replacing with a new design. Theres an Australian Tiger I that will be restored to running but will have a modern engine and transmission. But the Tiger 2 will have the original designs?
@@erikb-w3w engine and transmission will remain originals, but thei will got a complete maintenance. we had to make new engine coolers, as they were rust away. the fuel system will not connect all the 7 or 8 fuel tanks but only one, to have less points of potential risk to have a leakage. we ordered plastic cartridges, they look like originals.
I'm following very carefully this very late Königtiger with great interest but I don't understand how chronologically it is placed because I saw a while ago both the hull and the turret seemed to be on a very good level. I'm a bit confused. Nevertheless I will keep on following your new videos that by the way doing an excellent job 👍 👏. Anyway I just subscribed 👍
I just translated this old video to english. If that one will got enough clicks I will also translate further parts, to have full documentation. This one is just to see what will happen.
@@historygun6329 please move on as I'm looking very much forward to see your future videos. Fundamentally I'm a fan of this impressive tank and the big efforts of the team that is working on this tank 👍👍👍
As a disabled American Tank mechanic, and lover of WWII military history.. I would very much like to have more videos on this King Tiger to watch. The videos on this channel are from 1 year ago. Are any more coming? I do hope so. And, if not.. I would like to make arrangements to be able to see more. The King Tiger is among my favorite WWII Armored Vehicles.
I was waiting to reach the 400 subscribers. Further parts will follow soon. As more subsrcibers and views, as more videos i will produce for this channel.
