Nutrient paste expanded is by far one if not my favorite mod in the workshop. I am a transhumanist lover so I use nutrient paste dispenser all the time, it's especially helpful in a mountain base scenario where you need to ranch animals but you dont have a reliable way to feed them. Not only that but you can mix up ingredients, for example, you are a cannibal ideology but you also enjoy insect meat, you can mix up both human meat and insect meat to gain both mood bonuses. Such a great versitile mod.
PSA for repair shelf: set the max health allowed to 99% and your colonists will automatically remove fully repaired gear and put something new on the shelf
One of my favourite things is making prisons outta bone steel and bone concrete. Top it off with Human Leather Beds to let them know you are a monster.
My favorite ones are the advanced bed along side the spacer endtable, spacer drasser and a wardrobe. It significantly increases rest effectiveness and increases bedroom beauty.
Literally discovered 2 amazing mods that I didn't know before, the nutrient paste one and the gas one are surely ones I'll look foward into adding in my game (literally every other one i was already using lmao)
Quick info on the single doors: Single doors open faster and take less resources to build, but have less health. they're great for inside bases where you want pawns going in and out of rooms without them waiting forever because you have only stone to make doors out of or just because you're limited on building matterial. But as implied, pretty crap though if you want to use it as a form of defense against a small band of raiders.
Stuff like the punching bag and dartboard should really be pure vanilla, it's pretty lame that base game only has such a limited amount of recreation stuff.
Noobert can you do videos on best mods based on category. Like tactical/military gear mods. I hate how rimworld's workshop doesn't really have tags so whenever I come back to the game I spend an entire day just browsing the most popular recent mods.
if you switch between drip stand and vitals monitor you can get by with only half of those. both connect to two beds at the same time, same as nightstands.
Noobert, I'm going to give you a compliment sandwich: a critique between two slices of praise. (Disclaimer: the critique is a general one, not specific to this video, which is very good, and mostly avoids the issues I generally have.) To start, your videos are very well produced and contain tons of valuable information. Your position as one of the more popular Rimtubers is certainly well earned, and it's clear that you put a lot of effort into your content. However, with all due respect for you and your work, I'd personally enjoy your content more if you cut back on the jokes and skits. The effort to be entertaining is appreciated, but in my opinion, the humor usually falls flat, and mostly just disrupts the flow of useful information. I'd watch your videos more often if I didn't find the jokes, diversions, and delivery thereof to be, quite frankly, a little annoying. I think that a more trimmed down script that sticks only to the essential information would make for a more digestible and enjoyable viewing experience. If your videos need to meet a certain length for TH-cam's purposes, I'd suggest speaking more slowly, and/or replacing the comedy with further elaboration or demonstration of the video's subject. Additionally, your line delivery and choice of background music are very high-energy and fast-paced. While that's not necessarily a flaw, these stylistic choices feel out of sync with the chill vibes of Rimworld, which are a big part of the game's appeal. The intensity of the monologue and music make me feel tense and annoyed, detracting from my ability to enjoy what is otherwise really good content. That said, I do very much respect and appreciate your work overall. I've gotten lots of value from the information you've curated and delivered over the years. Not to mention that your pink-haired avatar is iconic and recognizable, and you've done well to build a distinct identity for your channel. Keep on keeping on, Noobert. I hope that my feedback isn't taken as an insult. These are just my opinions after all, but I doubt I'm the only one who feels this way. However, at the end of the day, if you're sustainably producing a quantity/quality of content that works for you and the majority of your audience, that's all that really matters. Peace & love.
@noobert Can you PLEASE pin a comment with the list and links of all these mods? I'm new to rimworld, and very new to modding. I am having so much trouble finding the mods you're describing. I would binge all your mod recommendation videos if you started adding these to your videos! I'm sure I'm not the only dumb dumb who would appreciate this too.
I really wish someone would make a mod centred around retro home computers. I know there's an "Old Computer" in VFE, but that's not near enough. I wanna give my colonists a mess of weird old computers that one would see on any retro tech TH-cam channel(Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Acorn Electron, Tandy computers from the TRS-80 to the Tandy 1000 and so on and so forth)
I have a question for the killbox... my colony had a wall around and an open zone (the killbox). But everytime the enemys attack the wall...... whats the problem??
I mean yeah the furniture is nice, but I only have so much space on the map so 5x5 boxes it is for bedroom and for prisoners well they don't need a lot of space, when they are unable to leave their bed.
I wish i could have all vanilla expanded mods without waiting 3 hours for the game to load. Only reason i dont play RimWorld, too many good mods to play vanilla
dude... are all your videos using an AI voice generator? Your syntax and patterns are... very odd for someone with such a neutral English accent, and you have no natural pauses or variation in volume. Makes me think "AI content mill" but the content is actually ok...
Just a week ago I've discovered that basically every vanilla expanded mod is made by Oksar Potockcki. Oskar - If you're reading this you'r e a giga chad and i admire you dedication.
Sort of, Oskar is by his own admission an artist. He produces the art assets for a lot of the vanilla expanded projects but the mods are made by a team headed by Oskar, they are group efforts so while Oskar deserves a lot of credit, giving it to him singularly is a bit misleading. At bear minimum the team also includes modders like Sarg Bjornson, Smash Phil, Kikohi and legodude17. Possibly more of them who don't have primary creator credit on a given mod who have worked on them.

Read industrial society and it’s future
I use it for my prisioners
i agree with you my brother in ideology
@@Prodbysomarisurprised you liked it, it doesn't feature slaughter of innocents or colonization
@@orestisgeorgatos6725why you bringing politics into a rim world conversation?

These little things just slip my mind and they are so helpful.

Although I do have most these mods, Noobert never fails to make me watch mod reviews ❤
I knew I was missing something inside my colony... It was the trashcan that slowly cleans up flith
My favorite ones are the advanced bed along side the spacer endtable, spacer drasser and a wardrobe. It significantly increases rest effectiveness and increases bedroom beauty.
Love me some beautiful hardwood flooring, no matter the fire risk

22:39 I thought the nutrient paste vat are NOT affected by temperature. You just need to keep it powered.

Can indeedt do that sometime
12:40 it's tileable, not tillable
Sorry I have a cold so my speech is impedimented at the moment

The prop mod might not look very appealing until you use the Vehicle mods and you need a neat landing spot for a drop pod or a helicopter.
That media offline image hurts on another level
It gets the comments mwahahaha
Looks cool. I love playing games like this!

Great now i know what all these mods do
you sound like you were drinking chemshine

Continuing to move towards 100k! Keep up the great content.

Imagine rimworld 2.....rimworld + all mods but bigger maps and world
I hope you guys had a great Christmas 🎄🎄
Did indeed!
Alright but here me out. Youre in a kill box, then the floor to the left and right to you turn into walls of death when you flip a switch
Everything in these mods is great, but the bins are just the most useful parte imo
Yeah, place them around the base and you almost freed pawns from cleaning

Hey Noobert just wanted to ask if you tried faction interactions expanded at all?
I mean yeah the furniture is nice, but I only have so much space on the map so 5x5 boxes it is for bedroom and for prisoners well they don't need a lot of space, when they are unable to leave their bed.
Tileable? Tile-able. As in a bathroom tile lmao

It's not an ai xD I cut out all my breaths to make the videos faster.
Also ai can't write game tutorials we tried and vhatgpt is too dumb for the task gives facts that are not real. It's far too unreliable

One of these days we'll run DOOM on a RimWorld mod. Not like DOOM-themed mods, I mean the actual game itself.
