I have the Mud Grapplers on my lifted Tundra. Those are LOUD lol. Truck hums at highway speeds. You can hear me coming from a mile away. Nice to see a comparison of 2 other Nitto tires.

man i had to get the cheapo ones man. last time i changed my tires you had just gotten the nitto's and i decided to get them and fell in love. i just changed them last week but couldnt afford that 1600 price tag before labor and warranty. Decided to run the Kumho Pathfiner All terrain. less shake on highway way quieter and 1.8 better mpg... i like em but hell yeah man keep up that grind!

Nice looking aggressive road tires, I live in Florida and I do trails so I run a moderate aggressive mt tire I get the road noise but I also love it it's not so loud that it's annoying to me or over the radio, not as smooth as the AT but goes unnoticed when running the highway...lived in the DFW 5 yrs the construction is never ending..lol😂

Que I just got mine same size as your on a Ford 250 coming from some cheap Chinese mud tires and night and day difference in quiet ness and smooth buttery ride. I love them, the best all terrain tires for road.

The recon and ridge are both hybrid, the main difference is the recon has a tread warranty, it goes in this order, terra, recon, ridge, trail grappler, from least to most agressive with trail being the most agressive off road tire..

I’ve never used beads..

How’s it going man the tires look great, I’ve got Yokohama geolanders m/ts 33x12s g003 I believe I love them but I’ve been looking to swap them out it’s 305/55 nitto 420v I would go for the the 33 12 plys option they have but sadly it dosent fit my budget 😂 but I got the H.O motor starts with no codes all I’m missing is a little tune and I should be rolling here soon that awe exhaust is super sweet too man stay up brother 💪🏽🍻

Yea they been sitting for months!!!! Great question wish I could've test it but from using both, the recons are def quitter and less road noise

I have the nitto ridge grapplers 34.5 inch on my 2022 f150. I haven’t been super impressed tbh. Terrible in rainy Georgia weather, crazy you don’t have any issues lol. Trading in my ford tomorrow tho for a 2023 ram rebel gotta figure out what setup I’m gonna go with. Come over to the RAM side Q! Lol

What's up Q , Im in Pennsylvania we get a lot of bad weather I had the ridge grapplers for years on 2 different F150 trucks but I been looking at the recons how are they in heavy rain.
I will say bro that’s one downside to the recon order they are not the best in rain. The Nido Ridge grappler to me handle the rain conditions better. I even think Otto’s website they rate the Ridge grappler better in rain
Quick question how do u get them balanced? Balance Beads or weights?
Most shops use weights. Beads are newer so not everyone does them yet

I’m not done with them just swapped over. Only have like 15k miles on them. I’ll put them back on in the winter or something Proper inflation, rotations and balance help with the wearing.

Man I hear a lot of people talking about those lately.
They have amazing performance, little to no road noise. My first set on my 15 f150 I put 40k miles on and could have still got another 20k+ out of them. They wear 10x better than any nitto I have ever had.
@@KickinItWithQ you wont like those in North Texas. When the light rain happens and mixes with the sand on the road. They get squirrely. I broke traction to many times and not doing anything dumb. Got rid of those tried the Kenda Klever RT. They did great in the ice storms this year but the radial pull was awful. Went back to my tried and true Toyo Open Country AT3s. Best tire I have ever had. That's my experience but lots of videos on the Wildpeaks and how killer they are in the snow.

Man you should have sold that truck and kept the car bro. I drove a big lifted truck for 8 years and finally got rid of it and got me a Charger. Just got tired of driving that big truck just wanted to be normal for a while. I still love trucks though!!!
Haha man I’m definitely there with this truck definitely gets tiring driving but having a truck always come in handy. The charger is much more doable as a only vehicle than a camaro
