In Shadeur’s press conference he sounded like the offensive coordinator. He was explaining why they aren’t gonna run and why they’d rather go down “swinging with their best punch”. Who exactly is in charge of the offense?!
The only take I'm standing on until I see different is that CU is simply not serious about winning until Dallan Hayden has 15 carries per game. Shedeur threw for 15 incompletions and CU proceeded to have designed 11 rush attempts for Runningbacks. Get outta here with that. Prime about to tank Shedeurs draft stock with this idiotic coaching philosophy.

This was a coaching lost more than a player…. It’s a coaching philosophy issue more than anything. And it’s gonna be hard to change when the highly talented QB also doesn’t believe that handing the ball off is a good thing! Hoping for change but all it is right now it hope! 😏
Totally forgot about Nebraska. Now, let's focus on CSU and take it one week at a time. Going 2-1 after this weekend will help us get back on track. The line will look better if #2 disguises what he does in the offense. He only uses his legs on passing plays, never under center, and never calls his own number on running plays. The defense has been locking in on his game his whole career. With the hype and attention, it makes more people study that grey area in his game, and it makes the Oline look bad.
This is the very reason why I speak about Coach speaking 🔊in absolutes. You give haters fuel to run on after something like this

I feel bad for Travis. He deserves to play for a real team with real coaches. Deion will be gone after this season after Sheduer leaves. Its so obvious he isint invested in building a team for the future. Terrible coaching.

Honestly...Colorado might have a worse record than they did last year. If they lose to Colorado State it's a wrap early for their season. Hunter was grabbing that calf/Achilles and he might need to shut it down early in the season to be ready for the draft if the wheels fall off..Sheduer too.
I feel horrible for Travis. It I were him I would sit out the rest of the season and prepare for the draft. Not worth the risk of getting injured for Colorado.

I don't know, it appears Prime is coaching for stats than winning. Absolutely horrible formations and personnel decisions. Prime needs to fix the right side of the line. People blame Hank, but I was seeing a lot guys pushing hard into Benson opening up the A gap as he failed to get under the DT. He's out of position and needs to move back to Tackle. Charlie is not the guy, he never was, go with Micah as he worked his ass off just as much and looked clearly better than Charlie. Also, use your damn tight ends. This fool running on 4th and 1 with 4 wideouts. Started the game with 4 wideouts throwing the ball 3 straight times while talking about we want to establish the run. Really? It seems like he just want more stats for Shedeur, Hunter, Horn, and Wester. Too NFL centric thinking you only need a QB to win in college.
Playing for stats was the same thing that backfired on them last year versus Stanford. Coach Lewis admitted and apologized last year. Last week, Shedeur admitted he wanted to get Wester additional stats. Compromised the victory just for his guy to get another catch. You get power backs, fast backs, backs who are balanced from SEC programs and the Big 10. Who do you start? A walk on RB who did not out play Micah. Flat-out foolishness. Let me run a Nickel defense against teams running two TE formations. It's like the staff are making gameplans in regardless of the opposing team offense/defense. The hell with scouting, this is what we're running and it will be successful.
It'll make sense when you see Charlie starring in that Prime documentary. The reality show goes on......
I'm no expert, but after replacing the OC nothing changed. Playing man coverage almost lost them the game against Colorado last year, and it cost them every game they lost after that. The change needs to be made on the coaching side, as there's no way all those players were balling at their old schools and now they suck....

Im starting to think you CU fans rode the short bus in school. Colorado State took these bums to overtime last year. And this year, CU is in a worst situation. I have CSU winning by 9 points and i have them with 150 plus yards on the grpund against CU. I also have shedeur being sacked 5 times in this game.

Might want to be careful with that CSU slander, they're better than the Buffs all over the field. Can't fault them for playing Texas, especially when CU made Nebraska look like Texas and only beat their FCS opponent by 6 yards
Coach Prime, nobody believes the narrative that CU can't run the ball. ANTHONY HANKERSON and Dillon Edward learned how to run the ball as soon as they left CU. Shedeur Sanders can throw the ball on every down and will not be a Heisman winner because he has never been able to beat a formidable quarterback. RIOLA is a true freshman and never turned the ball over.

The most creative thing Pat Shurmer ever did was a paint-by-number when he was 6… when has he ever been good, anywhere? Uninspired coach, pedestrian hire is a liability on an already mediocre staff. Unless he pulls a rabbit out the hat this weekend, Buffs season could easily go up in flames.
I agree with your analysis. Hoping for the latter, they will adjust. Praying and hoping for the win. But in fairness, this is Coach Primes' second year again with a predominately new team and new OL and DL coaches.
I think we should continue to force the ball to Lajohntay, eventually he'll get a good play under his belt and the scouts will look at him...or he will be exposed. The coaches should look at film of CSU 's previous game and come up with a game plan for early dominance.

That 5 wr line up is not working, bring the TE in there, hell, even a FB. Play the o-line in their right positions, wth Prime!
Outside zone from the gun could be effective, they just need more of it, and there will probably be teams that have defensive lines that present problems for Colorado in the future. But outside zone and some runs with shedeur using the walk on guy as a lead blocker sprinkled in would keep the defensive line honest. I didnt see a lot of jet sweep stuff against Nebraska either and thats another good way to run with an undersized offensive line. They dont need a lot more in the run game but if it isnt there at all defenses will just pass rush every down.

You must have not been around for the 80's 90s or early 2000s then. do some research. we have a 1990 national title and were big 12 champion in 2001 with also making the big 12 title games in 2002, 2004 and 2005. They had close 20 years of sustained success and recruited strongly.
