They struggled in the first half bc of conservative playcalling. In the 2nd half they gave fields more trust and he balled. Arthur needs to put more trust in fields and open the playbook the whole game, not just when they’re desperate. There were so many things that went wrong yet we lost by 3. That fields fumble was bad but tbh I was more mad he ran out of fg range than fumbling, but it didn’t even result in points. My thing is we are the highest paid defense and 2nd least paid offense. This team was built to win off defense and rushing. Whem both look bad it’s hard to win. That’s why I blame the defense the most. Regardless of turnovers, every TD drive the colts had they drove down the field on us. We lost the game when we allowed Flacco to convert 3 3rd & longs and that late hit call on minkah. This is also the 2nd straight game we had both a dropped pick and a forced fumble not recovered, these things change games. Just bc they finally got a stop doesn’t negate giving up 27 pts and 14 in a qtr.
If Anthony Richardson started the whole game the Steelers would have won. The experience and composure and poise of flacco converted third downs like they were nothing.
Should of could of blah blah blah. Stoolers lost " NICE👍
exactly I wouldnt mind colts starting flacco and lettin richardson rest his injury while learning from flacco as well
How much better are the Colts WITHOUT AR!
You have a super bowl champion playing in a dome Flacco with the colts could be a sleeper team💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💯💯
For some reason Flacco will always haunt Pitt. I was listening to my steelers live a teeny bit late at work and stunned to here we were down. But then it all made sense when my spine crawled after hearing Joe Flacco he knows to much about the steelers!
My man Flacco doing it again. You are a special QB. Keep rooting for ya. Ravens fan here.
...Browns should have never let him walk lmao
Flacco: i will forever hate the steelers regardless of my team
Must be a Ravens fan..
Richardson should learn something from Newton. Just because your big, doesn't mean that you wont shatter in the NFL
Just imagine Flacco in Miami with his arm playing with Hill, Waddle, OBJ & Achane out the backfield....
As a Bills fan even the thought of it terrifies me lol thx God they didn't use there brain on that one 😂
Yeah but colts need him bad, our starter is glass
Makes me wonder how good Bryce Young might be in Miami with those weapons
He's not cool enough. Miami is a fluff team that needs celebrities
Wouldnt work,.
Flacco has a 40yo arm. He couldnt get it to WRs that fast. Would be underthrowing them constantly. Hes great at managing games, with intermediate throws. He tried the deep ball 3 times in this game, and all 3 where under thrown. He wouldnt work out with speed like that.
They might actually win a ring
Flacco played very well !!
Aaron rogers struggling and Flacco out here ballin!
Flacco will always be one of my favorite players to watch.
First off I want to say that this loss is NOT on Justin Fields. He did his part. The loss is due to Pittsburgh's defense not being able to bully what may be the best offensive line in the NFL. Second of all, it's only one loss. It's not the end of the world. But then again it may very well be if Tomlin doesn't patch up the holes that contributed to this loss.
He played great - 9:27 was a TREMENDOUS throw - and he has elite speed on his 2 rushing TDs. Showed heart.
As a cokts fan he had me worried I'm 4th, like we shut down and couldn't stop him
Dude always fumbles the ball. Never can count on him when the game is on the line
@@wastnTIMEwastnTIME The fumbled snap isn't on him, it's on that antsy center. From what I understand Fields didn't have these snap issues in Chicago.
@@damonclark5742 Justin had double digit fumbles in all of his years in Chicago. Now it seems like he fumbles the ball just about every game. Of course it’s his fault. He needs to be on the same page as his center. It’s on both of them. Dude isn’t clutch. If the defense isn’t carrying him good luck in putting the ball into his hands and asking him to win it for u
The Indianapolis Colts are 2-2🔵⚪️🐴
Week 5 at Jaguars
The colts can win in Jacksonville
They always struggle there
Honestly with the Jags still winless, Colts could have a chance to finally win at Jacksonville in a long time
@@fiercingdragon idk that feels like desperation time and they seem to have our number that last couple years... hopefully we pull through though.
The Colts can win anywhere and against anyone as long as long Richardson is off the field. If he makes it back, they are screwed.
Talk about an easy break
So, when old timer QBs like Flaco and Dalton, play in the modern NFL they excel.
Even way past their prime. That tells me that all modern passing stats need asterixis next to them.
If Dan Marino, Joe Montana or John Elway in their prime could play today, they would put up video game numbers!
It's astonishing how awful the league is in passing this season. Like the only QB out there looking like an actual QB is Josh Allen and old timers like you said. Wild season.
@@trautsj I think Defenses are taught to stop running QB's today and can't handle the Pocket Passing of an old Flacco...hell Montana could come off the couch today and put up decent numbers at his current age!
@@happybeingmiserable4668 Insanely, that's not insane!
Daniels leading in passing %. That's impressive.
@@happybeingmiserable4668thats an interesting theory. Another theory i have is that the pool of players in college and the new crop of NFL players might not be as good as they used to be because the pool of talent is smaller. This due to the drop in youth football participation and partly you can tie it to a the decline in birthrates(even though that impacts college sports more then the NFL)
Braden smith deserves some respect. He held TJ watt to zero sacks and no pressure at all through the whole game
I'm not willing to forgive Smith for his past issues, but it's a promising glimmer of optimism for sure.
Yes, he literally held Watt every 1 on 1. Smh
@@jonlape5620crazy every time smith has played against the Steelers, he’s allowed 0 pressures from watt
So much for our best defense in the league
Who told you that? PQ? hahahaha
That’s wha I thought too
Flacco still doing his Magic
I like Anthony Richardson, but I think having him sit another year would be GREAT for him. He needs it.
Joe Flacco, again, beating the Steelers, makes me happy.
Joe Elite-O. Let’s go Joe!
He is a tough MFer
Crazy your backup qb is a Super Bowl mvp😂 I’m a packers fan but I was a Flacco fan since I was a kid I love how he can pick apart a defensive especially in the clutch. And in my opinion throw the prettiest spiral I’ve ever seen
Flack-Owe!
Steelers got physically dominated today. Period.

It was an atypical game for us steelers. Usually our defense scores and dominates our game, but this time it was the opposite, the ofensive made it count and gave the name. Fields is very in tune, looking forward to the upcoming games and everything Justin is going to do!
Joe Flacco has been picking Pittsburgh apart his entire career. He was Pittsburgh’s worst nightmare when he was with Baltimore.
Bro that is an EGREGIOUS reach… This game JUST put him over .500 against the Steelers: 11-10 in the regular season and 1-2 in the playoffs…. Now granted, he had games where put up good numbers but “worst nightmare” is a wild take when he’s lost to the Steelers more than he’s won
As a steelers fan. It was dope to see flacco come do his thing against his old rival thats dope
Someone tell me why Flacco isn't a starter in the NFL!
because he is great in bursts, but can't do it for 17 games. top tier backup material, but not someone you wanna put the entire season on.
@@user-f5xt2op9t that and he's almost 40. So yea we dont want the old man to get hurt
Always loved watching Flacco. "Surgical" is correct. Efficient. Precise.
Also Fields is playing great. Keeps his eyes downfield. That's the best sign that coaches and team surrounding him is helping him develop. Thanks Chicago.
I’m glad he has a competent organization around him. I’m a Bears fan and always saw the talent in him. He needed good coaching though. Hope he keeps it up and keeps improving for you all!
Gotta say, probably Justin's best game as a pro. Happy for him
-Bears fan
As a Ravens fan, it’s good to see Joe Flacco still owns the Steelers.
Yeah because we know your current QB doesn't
How does he own the Steelers? His all time record vs the Steelers is 11-11
Whatever helps you cope with the fact that the Steelers defense owns Lamar. Still waiting for your RB to beat the Steelers defense more than once.
Hey hey hey hey there buddy. Shut your foocking hole. We'll get to you.
RB haha. When was last time the Steelers had a MVP ? That's what I thought: 1978. I hear the sound of jealousy and bitterness.
Honestly, tho joe flacco has so much experience against the steelers, i ain't even mad
Justin fields looking good out there
As a Steeler fan..... There was nothing to be disappointed about in this game. A few mistakes but coming back from a 17 to 0 deficit to make it a close game three second half. This loss might just be what we needed
I told all the steelers fans at my work they will lose 🤣. Colts always play their best football against good teams
As a Hoosier Colts fan. I AGREE . I gave up on trying to figure it out. 🤪
And Tomlin's Steelers always play their worst football against mediocre teams.
Colts got away with 3 pass interferences and a hold on Pickens in the 4th quarter that would have set the Steelers up at the red zone,, the refs were terrible,,, but the Steelers had a chance but for the second week the center hiked the ball early,,

Good close game today colts and the steelers are no longer undefeated. I'm not a colts fan but I didn't know that Joe flacco is still playing as the backup for the colts. I admit flacco is still a good qb.
Flacco needs a 5 year 250 million dollar contract as a starting qb
Probably if Trevor 0-4 Lawrence got it. Trevor is nothing more than a average QB
Flacco is elite!
Joe Flacco, wow.
Flacco is a great example of a QB who can make any team better. Can't believe he's still playing so well
Loss was on that defense and the offensive mistakes by everyone besides fields that fumble wasn’t even his fault, they were in his face in 1.5 seconds
Loss was on all Squealers, bub bye

Issac seumalo should be back next week! Luckily we would need that, he is a key to this offense. Excited to see him play!
Tomlin did admit that he nor the defense prepared accordingly to Flacco taking over.

A slinging contest between Justin Fields and Joe Flacco? I like it
January Joe is here and here to stay. He has the weapons and the knowledge. AFC south title belongs to the Colts
As a Steelers fan. I’m so happy after watching this game. Fields & the offense were clicking @ a very high clip. But Flacco was the perfect storm for the squad. All that familiarity seemed to have had him so comfortable. Was a really fun game to watch.
Great win for the colts
Happy for Flacco.
@6:41 -- Fields is clearly over the line before passing. Horrible missed call.
Yup that was embarrassingly bad by the refs.
Good thing Flacco came in lol
