    • @carllennen3520
      @carllennen3520 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No he didnt.
      This is how Gus Bradley runs a defense. When they have a comfortable lead, he backs off.
      Fields couldnt do anything the first half, because Bradley was sending a blitz every other down. Second half, Bradley let up, allowing them to do whatever they wanted. He does this almost every game. He thinks allowing them to move down the field, will eat up enough clock to keep the W. It backfires constantly. Idk why Bradley is still the DC in Indy. They will never make the playoffs with Bradleys goofy game management.
      Fields is made to look good by his defense. Hes a game manager, and not a very good one at that.

    As frustrating as this loss was, it felt great watching the Steelers offense in the 2nd half. Idk how you can put this game on the offense. Ask yourself? How does PIT want to win games?: playing def and running the ball. They failed at both today. So why was the game close?: Justin Fields. I don’t see how ppl are saying give Russ a chance, what was starting him gonna change in this game? Fields had 350+ yards and 3tds and we had 400 yards of offense. Plus he had about 5 plays he made by simply evading pressure with his legs, which Russ can’t do at this point. Was Russ gonna stop the defense from giving up 27 pts and 14 off rip, or Pickens fumbling at the 10, or the blocking and run game being awful? We lost this game by beating ourselves, especially with that last drive. The reason we have such slow starts is bc Arthur starts conservative. Open the playbook to start and trust fields and we’ll see a much more complete team. Fields is the starter and we’re onto the next.

      Colts traded yards for time, that's why they moved ball well in last quarter. Once they started playing hard again, well we all saw how last drive looked and what happened.

      @@MarioCindric Absolutely correct. This is how Gus Bradley always handles a lead. Allow the other team to move the ball, hoping to run the clock. Fields couldnt move the ball in the first half, b/c Bradley was dialing up blitzes. Second half, he backs off, and allows fields to do whatever he wanted. Last 2 drives, Bradley starts blitzing again, and Fields falls apart.
      Idk why Gus Bradley still has a job. Hes always negligent in keeping a lead for the offense. No one ever gets to relax with him as DC.

    • @temo7073
      @temo7073 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@carllennen3520 I disagree. There were multiple plays where there was constant pressure and fields evaded and got the ball downfield to guys like Pickens. They struggled in the first half bc of conservative playcalling. In the 2nd half they gave fields more trust and he balled. Arthur needs to put more trust in fields and open the playbook the whole game, not just when they’re desperate. There were so many things that went wrong yet we lost by 3. That fields fumble was bad but tbh I was more mad he ran out of fg range than fumbling, but it didn’t even result in points. My thing is we are the highest paid defense and 2nd least paid offense. This team was built to win off defense and rushing. Whem both look bad it’s hard to win. That’s why I blame the defense the most. Regardless of turnovers, every TD drive the colts had they drove down the field on us. We lost the game when we allowed Flacco to convert 3 3rd & longs and that late hit call on minkah. This is also the 2nd straight game we had both a dropped pick and a forced fumble not recovered, these things change games. Just bc they finally got a stop doesn’t negate giving up 27 pts and 14 in a qtr.
