Fields passed for over 300 yards ran for 2 TDs passed for a TD but people still complain. Gave the Steelers a chance to win from being behind. He earned QB1.

AR-5 looked pretty good before the devastating injury situation so early in the game. He just doesn't know how to avoid hits. Imagine being him having to await the MRI scan tomorrow just not knowing anything yet? Ugh. Feel bad for him.

Colts got away with 3 pass interferences and a hold on Pickens in the 4th quarter that would have set the Steelers up at the red zone,, the refs were terrible,,, but the Steelers had a chance but for the second week the center hiked the ball early,,

As frustrating as this loss was, it felt great watching the Steelers offense in the 2nd half. Idk how you can put this game on the offense. Ask yourself? How does PIT want to win games?: playing def and running the ball. They failed at both today. So why was the game close?: Justin Fields. I don’t see how ppl are saying give Russ a chance, what was starting him gonna change in this game? Fields had 350+ yards and 3tds and we had 400 yards of offense. Plus he had about 5 plays he made by simply evading pressure with his legs, which Russ can’t do at this point. Was Russ gonna stop the defense from giving up 27 pts and 14 off rip, or Pickens fumbling at the 10, or the blocking and run game being awful? We lost this game by beating ourselves, especially with that last drive. The reason we have such slow starts is bc Arthur starts conservative. Open the playbook to start and trust fields and we’ll see a much more complete team. Fields is the starter and we’re onto the next.
First off I want to say that this loss is NOT on Justin Fields. He did his part. The loss is due to Pittsburgh's defense not being able to bully what may be the best offensive line in the NFL. Second of all, it's only one loss. It's not the end of the world. But then again it may very well be if Tomlin doesn't patch up the holes that contributed to this loss.
He played great - 9:27 was a TREMENDOUS throw - and he has elite speed on his 2 rushing TDs. Showed heart.

Justin Fields is actually a promising QB for the Steelers. 300 plus yards in a loss is more than we have gotten close to in a while. Just need to clean up on the o-line and defensive tackles.

I will say I am impressed by the growth Fields is showing. He made some big mistakes that cost us big but he also made big contributions. Unfortunately, with injuries as they are the D didn't hold up well today sono bail out on the major blunders. Gotta get those snap issues fixed. If they didn't do that they may have found themselves tying the game with a field goal instead of losing by one

I am sure both Chicago and Pittsburgh are happy - sometimes no amount of coaching, prodding will not change a QB, but being told to leave will - maybe this woke up Fields - in Chicago he would keep the ball and never pull the trigger, now he is!
Happy Fields finally has competent coaching to help him, but the way he gets hit has always concerned me. He's got about 3 more good years before his body can't take it anymore.
Steelers had WAY too many mistakes in big moments to deserve the win. Congrats to the Colts and Flacco, cant believe he's still balling! Steelers need to iron out their mental errors and they will be able to compete later in the season.

If Anthony Richardson started the whole game the Steelers would have won. The experience and composure and poise of flacco converted third downs like they were nothing.
Steelers need a 2nd and 3rd wide receiver to identify himself quickly. Also, the backs gave up too many chunk yards to an aging QB that didn't have much pressure on him.
Pickens was interfered 2 times and held in the forth quarter but not flags,, but they sure flagged Fitzpatrick for a legal hit,, and no holding calls on either team,,, amazing,,, the officiating was horrible,,, although the Steelers had their chances,,,
As a Steeler fan..... There was nothing to be disappointed about in this game. A few mistakes but coming back from a 17 to 0 deficit to make it a close game three second half. This loss might just be what we needed

The play by play guy calling this game, is the most annoying in the NFL. At the first sound of his over hyped voice, the mute button is my savior, and I can finish watching the highlights in peaceful surroundings.

Loss is not on Justin Fields. Can't blame him for this one. But he's not as good a QB as someone like Joe Flacco.
