The key to beating Texas Tech is stopping the run. Those running backs at Texas Tech look to run inside first despite the play call to run outside the tackles. So the key is to be disciplined and tackle as a team. Texas Tech also likes to run trick plays throughout the game whether it's a fake field goal or throwing to the WR and having the WR look for an open man down field. Additionally Texas Tech will run the draw play with QB scampers. Moreover, CU has to shut down WR's number 3, 5, 2, 1, 4 and TE's # 12, 9, 80. This is going to be a tough game so stopping the run is crucial for CU and it is important to be disciplined, maintain gaps, and being prepared for Texas Tech running outside the tackles and trick plays. CU Buffs should not have a problem passing the ball but it is important to establish the run too. Texas Tech defense is vulnerable against screen plays to running backs and WR's, CU should be able to outscore Texas Tech and stop the run. Lastly is special teams CU Buffs have to kick the ball out of the end zone and consistently tackle as one unit on punts and kick returns and not allow Tech Texas to have good field position or score touchdowns on special teams.#sko buffs#coach prime.

For tiebreakers, I'll simplify the challenge, though the scenarios are many that get CU into the B12 CG. The only team CU has a chance to beat in a tiebreaker is IS. Of course, KS beat CU, so that's a loser on its face. And...for the same reason...BYU is a loser because CU + BYU common opponents will almost certainly have KS as the higher finisher. With that, CU needs a tiebreaker scenario vs IS where Cincy or TT finish higher than KS. Cincy is a straightforward exercise - win three of four, beat KS, and CU wins tiebreaker vs IS as two one-loss teams. If Cincy runs the table, then CU wins outright and goes to B12 CG. In the case of TT, they need to run the table after losing to CU, and KS needs to lose twice - one vs IS. If IS and CU run table, then CU wins tiebreaker because TT would be highest finishing common opponent. Absent the above...IS needs to lose at least one more game while CU runs the table. And all of this assumes that BYU runs the table. It would end up quite bad for CU if they finish season tied with BYU. Utah has no chance in hell of becoming a common opponent that beats BYU and finishes higher than KS.

You clearly have not read the tie breaker document. You cited so many falsehoods not taking into consideration the strength of schedule caveats. Stop it.

I love Prime n Colorado. I've never been into college football until he coached JSU and more with CU. The one glaring weakness is their communication on defense with bunched formations and crossing routes. We had KSU but by not communicating and not know assignment on that play when the RB ran free @ end of 4th is a problem

I'm convinced BYU is going to be rough rough and no joke the way they beat SMU and dog walked Baylor, Kansas State, and UCF.
