I mean, i love serious, somber and intimidating villains as much as the next guy...
But man, i REALLY enjoyed Soulbreaker. Was he still dangerous? Yes. But the fact that he sounded like an absolute dork made it very...refreshing :D
Reminded me of Starscream. Since Mark based them on autobot-decepticon, that's probably who it was supposed to be.

I’m only on episode 44, and Mark finally got his chance to BLAST Tom’s face off for stuttering an npc’s name, I love you guys so much XD
That DnD moment where a character realizes she’s been carrying 2 bows and no arrows for days XD
Meh. Mark was only making her count the +2 Magic arrows and not mundane arrows at all.
This is one of those oops the DM forgot their homebrew. I just hope Archer isn't made to suffer for it.

I've been waiting for this arc for the longest time and it's definitely lived up to it's expectations
Oh the irony of Tom saying where learning so much while they walk away from a nearly waisted spell and 3 calm Guardian that could be fixed basically for free with no risk. Sentry didn't loss the ability to help them safely with touch when she gained the ability to do it at range.
I've been FIENDING to catch up, and have been zooming through the episodes... Sentry doing a DBZ move to end that feral guardian was the best. I imagined her doing that wall jump, teleport, grab, and then doing that spinning pile driver into the ground. xD great!
Sentry should take no damage on passed dex saves because of her shield master
I have also never seen her use the bonus action part of it either, knocking them prone or just away from quill. But she does cool shit like body slam people out the sky, so evens out!
I’m scared because RHI keeps rolling without modifiers and if she rolled an 8+ cha she’d succeed but mark would think she’d fail

Absolutely amazing episode. Nothing huge happened in this episode but it has to go down as one of my favorite ones so far. Also, Soulbreaker not being a super serious, ***hole made him so much more loveable
I would love to see Mark throw a party of 4 NPCs that have PC class levels at the party. Like a group of 14th level Agents of Starbane that are basically just a group of Adventures.
I think that might be the only thing Mark could do to challenge them short of just sicking a flight of dragons at them.
There are many monsters that could still challenge them, a Solar, an Empyrean, an ancient red dragon, any Arch-Devil or Demon lord, a party of equal(ish) level adventurers would be an insane grindy slog fest, imagine how hard it would be for Mark to effectively play 4 high level PC's all at once let alone fight 5 other high level PC's, they are 15th level, they are supposed to be strong.

Also, have you ever DM'ed? Running 4 creatures during a combat is basically par for the course. Mark has ran entire groups of creatures before, but no, you're right, 4 would be too many for him. Lol

I'm fine with being called a "wretched mortal" (because it's fairly accurate), but a being called a "stretchy butthole" is beyond the pale and I would demand retribution.
They're the City of _Glass_ and they just picked up a named _Barrier._ If his voice were more energetic and he referred to himself in the third person, I'd guess he were a _Epithet Erased_ reference. Oh well.

Poor guys, always unlucky with the rolls, it's only Mark who's always very lucky except for very few moments, sometimes important but... . not this session after all we've seen in the past episodes, some balance, even if it's so sad to see cool things fail sometimes
I feel like Mark had a Dragon Campaign in the works and feels a bit miffed that WoTC kinda beat him to the punch with the Fizban book.
Had? He really just loves dragons. They've had prominent rolls in Aerois, Lightfall and Nights of Eveningstar (how could he not with Cormyr's history being what it is).
And you've no doubt heard by now that the next Campaign is indeed heavily Dragon themed.
It's not that big a deal considering the Dragonlance setting has been around since the 80s. Possibly bad timing for optics but now the actual Dragonlance setting book has come out.
Though really it just means he has access to more resources for something he obviously enjoys.

The best single party big world dnd story there is. Imma be real here, better world building than Matt, not than Arcadum, but the best mix of both the main group focus and the massive world.

What makes it worse is that no British houses are built with air-con, so for us it’s WAY worse indoors than it is outdoors (our houses are built with the purpose of keeping as much heat in as possible)

Quite correct Thane. Fizban is the alias of Paladine, the chief god of the goodly parthenon.
Most of the time deities of different campaign settings aren't forced or made to interact.
Though it's also pretty easy to cite equivalency and just say Bahamut is known as Paladine on Krynn.
