Crystal Waters Trout Fishing Lodge, Underberg

Chasing The Rainbow enjoyed a stay and trout fishing at Crystal Waters in July. We loved the quaint stone cottages on a huge 30Ha dam with water as clear as glass and surrounded by mountains, with Lesotho’s snow-capped peaks towering over the valley.

Will need to travel to more venues but Crystal Waters must be one of the best scenic views of the Drakensburg . Never disappointed . Fished summer through to winter and have always caught healthy fish .

Hi. Amazing clip thank you. Love the drone. We heading there month end. Are the roads ok to travel? My wife and myself are going up and we have a Suzuki swift. Will we make it? Did you catch allot of good fish?

Beast Man Hi, glad you liked the video. It really is an incredible place. You don't need to worry about the roads - the only bad road is in the actual farm, and its just bumpy - you wouldn't need a 4x4. The fishing was extremely hard, but rewarding. We got 2 nice hens and 2 stockies. The fish were spawning so hard to catch. Small nymphs on a sinking line with a strike indicator worked for us. Take warm gear - it gets really cold at night.
