My car is 2016 Volkswagen Passat B8 Highline with a 2.0 Tdi 150HP engine, DSG Gearbox.
Necessary tools:
Socket 24 mm
Hexagon tools 14mm
DSG Transmission Oil Filter: 02E305051C
DSG gearbox oil: G 052182A2 (6l)
DSG O -Ring: N 91084501
DSG Gearbox Oil Change Adapter Oil Filling Hose (ebay)

Just did this on a 2015 Passat TDI. From factory they come “overfilled” by over a quart if the check plug is the standard. That’s why in your vid you drain off more than a quart.
I put back into it what I drained from it. Measure the old oil and put in that amount seems like the better option.

How often does the cooling unit on top of the transmission have to be replaced. AS well what is the process for changing the solenoids in the megatronic unit?

Nice work, I just wonder if car doesn't have to be leveled?? Being jacked only front side wouldn't effect fluid leveling??

Why can't you change the oil through the oil filter hole?

What about the second DSG filter not change that one they are 2 oil filters one small and second on DSG box at the bottom of the DSG every 60k the small only at every 30 k

The car must be stay on a flat surface. Your oil level is not good. Its better to use vcds for oil temp. You can let the hose connected during the heating time. Its more simple to remove the excess. In a dq 250 having around 5.5 liters inside. You have remove less because the car level is not right. Thanks

yes, but most likely you have dq500 gearbox so the process a bit different
