Your right shift getting stuck is likely your stabilizer not the switch. Switches don't get stuck mid way through actuation like that without a damaged leaf.

Nice review, like the testing of on- and off-center presses

Ok. First, to me yours is the best keyboard channel around, your categories are comprehensive, your scorings are subjective but at the same time always justified, and I love your sound tests.
Second, I was wondering what switches to buy for my first mechanical keyboard build. Now I know.
Thanks a lot and keep the great work!!

From your review I bought these swithces and indeed they perform excellent in sound and feel.
One minus thoug are the pins. They are weak and from a batch of 80 - 10 of them are bent when sticking them straight in the socket and became beyond repair unusable.
I wish JWK would equip them with stronger pins.

Their Dolphin silent switches have strong as hell pins. I have re-lubed them 3 times (had some issues with the lube used, used the improper lube 2(TWO) times) and i have yet to bend a pin (i'm also butter fingers)

Do the nylon housing version of T1 come with the same stem, meaning would they produce the same tactility as well? They’re cheaper compared to smokey housings.

Maybe get orange, I heard it's more tactile but there is no real info.

Do they sound good and consistent with the factory lubing or do they need additional work for them to sound good?

    • @KeebWorks

Additional work is always preferred, but they sound consistent enough for me stock.

I have those. They're fun to type on, and have a strong tactile bump right at the top. They're good for typing but I wouldn't recommend for gaming.

it depends on what you game on personally
for me the very rounded tactility is amazing for accuracy on rhythm games, however pushing myself on more dense stuffs is harder due to the longer amount of time/higher keypress lvl it requires me to reset before i can rebound, but considering the overall 50gr weighting all throughout it's not really draining to bottom out

but yeah if ur into quickly rebounding keypresses it's quite annoying, otherwise it's a great switch especially for it's price
