Did you pull a vacuum after the replacement? I did pull a vacuum on multiple cars I did and never had an issue. Not I have to do my wife's AC compressor on a 2011 Expedition and I don't if I should have a vacuum pulled or not.
Mine hisses and blows steam out the top line when I start loosening it. Not sure how long it will do that for or if it should be doing that, it's been 15 minutes and it's still hissing loudly. I don't want to finish loosening it because I don't know what will happen after ward and if I can't get it back on. Little bit of light green fluid dripping as well...help!!

How did you know how much oil to add? Do you put in it in the compressor itself before installing?

That's just the freon coming out and the green liquid is just the freon and oil.
Did u change out the expansion valves too?
Yes, I did but not immediately. It was a few months later.
