Atlantic crossing: departure for the Caribbean | Blue Horizon 4 | WDR travel

Leonie, Jonas and Thilo have reached the Canary Island of La Gomera with their sailing ship "Blue Horizon". There they prepare for the great Atlantic crossing, during which they will sail across the Atlantic to the Caribbean for around a month. When tensioning the steel cables, however, a misfortune happens: a bolt on the mast suspension breaks and the mast crashes onto the deck. Such a repair usually takes weeks. But port worker Andi, who has lived on the island for 16 years, is a trained metal worker. With his help they also solve this problem and start their biggest adventure to date in the direction of Martinique.
