    Is there any other type of farm related terrain that you'd like to see? Please let me know and I'll add it to the list. While you are here... do you have a preferred video duration? I try to vary the length of our tutorials between 5 and 20 minutes for variety's sake, but I'm curious what the community prefers.

    Dude, that's pretty, and clever, that's pretty clever. I love your technique, and I wish I was swift enough to remember using the little paper clamps when I was trying to do delicate work.

      I made another set of fences years ago, but refined the build process to the minimum number of steps I could. The paper clamps helped immeasurably to do that.

      The goal is to make all the crafts as easy and as "accessible " as possible so whether you are a novice or a practiced crafter, there's something here for you at TheGameSmith.

    Yay! I can finally make fences.
    Also, I wonder if you can scale up this craft to work with other things.
    I have another hobby this would work perfectly for but it has to be larger.
    Also, keep up the great work 👍

      You can definitely work with larger scale materials to produce the same results. After all, I basically shrunk the building materials for 1:1 sized fences to create these.

    Great build. Looks a little tedious but you cannot argue with the results. They look amazing.

      Any bulk build is a bit tedious, but when I use fences at the game table, I always need several of them for the encounter to appear like I want it to. I look at from the perspective of "short term pain for long term gain."

    Very cool. How would you do a force field fence?

    • @TheGameSmithsTable
      @TheGameSmithsTable  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      A force field fence? ... hmmm. Now that's an interesting question since we haven't done any "technology" based crafts yet. I think we might have to start a new tech series that addresses that great question!

      Thank you I can't wait. I have some ideas myself. Mainly because U am always trying to aim for the future. Most do to the fact the game I GM for takes place in the year 3030.

      No it is a world that I designed around TSR Marvel's stats & rules. I play it on line with a friend & then with my wife & another friend here at my home. Well, when the world wasn't on lock down. 😞

      I know the system well. I played Marvel for almost a decade!

    Coming from a few European-made videos and their quiet and soothing voices to your Americantastic enthusiasm is quite the experience :) Thank you for the tutorial!

    Fun idea: build some spare fence on a bit of parchment (hot glue the first layer of rails) then when dry break into pices for some ransacked farm scatter!

    Instead of using wire (I don't have any right now, and all the stores are closed, bcause of corona) I've just had the idea of using soldering tin, I think I have to try that :D Great video :)

    • @TheGameSmithsTable
      @TheGameSmithsTable  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The soldering tin is a great idea! I suggest that you coat them with PVA or Mod Podge so that paint will stick the metal more effectively.

    Cuz you asked, I thought this video was a bit long, but there was two crafts in it, so it wasn't too bad. Also, i didn't get the joke at the start? Was it a joke? Sorry, I guess I'm too young. I still liked the video alot.

    • @TheGameSmithsTable
      @TheGameSmithsTable  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, there was a "joke" at the start. I was referencing a 50's sleuth acting as a fence. It's a double entendre.
