Braiins os is pretty good i used it for a couple of days then switched back to vnish os which seems to get better results on my s9 and has pretty good management of the fans asic boost and so on I have solar panels so I'm only using it when our meter says -2.kwh can be up to 10 hours a day some days I'll use ck pool solo other days I'll use bch solo mining pool much better chance of getting a block but saying that against all odds their is every chance of finding a block of btc with an ant miner s9 I j or k even might be a few years old but its still got decent hashing power compared to using a load of gpus I was gpu mining for a few years on eth but since is changed then I've hardly mined anything I found a block with my rx570 kaspa a few months ago was quite chuffed . So will be selling my older pc which isn't too old ow its set up with Linux running steam os plays anything I throw at it and has the benefit of vulcan drivers for amd on Linux makes the graphics great 👍

If you have free electricity.... get an s9j hooked up on solo mine and play the btc lottery. You might hit a block and get 6.25btc! Chances are slim, but you never know.... many people have done it recently with an s9
