I love how men would like to be the lion without realising all the negative implications.

When I read the words "animal reading" I imagined you guys going to a library with your pets to listen to someone reading a book about animals. I figured that maybe it's a good bonding exercise with your furry friend.
That sounds like a therapy sketch idea haha
I expected "animal reading" to be some form of divination using animals. Like what the roman augurs did with the sacred chickens.
Yeah I was expecting the druid guy to slash something open and read the entrails.
I thought this was about going to the vet lol
For children's activities, our library uses actually a listening dog once in a while that children can read to. ❤

We went to the show in Toronto last night and it was fantastic. Two of my kids were called up on stage to help work a skit with them. A great experience for the kids who were really excited after. Then after the show the guys were kind enough to let the kids take pictures with them. Great guys and a great show. Thanks Gentlemen!

This is my favorite so far this year.
I love this so much. You nailed all the energies I've seen at other readings: the curious friend who doesn't fully believe but thinks it would be fun to try it out, the skeptical friend who is only there to support the curious one but gets annoyed, and the reader aura was spot on.
When I heard him say "none of the mustelids" then suggest skunk next I looked it up. Turns out they used to be in that family till recently, clever detail I wasn't expecting

I don't know about anyone else, but I would KILL to be a hippo. They may look cute and chubby, but they are probably the one animal that you absolutely do NOT want to mess with.

Actually, J.K. Rowling used a lot of pre-existing beliefs and fairy tales (centuries or Mellenia old), tweaked some, and blended them into a cohesive story.

(as a non-native English speaker I only wanted to write down some of those fancy words but I got lost in all those animals 😂)
Let me present what I learned today:
- elk in Europe doesn't mean the same thing as elk in America
- there once lived a giant "Irish" elk (is that what was meant in the sketch?)
- they changed official names of some animals in my native language 20 years ago and I haven't noticed 🙈
- the name Oisín means a little deer/ fawn 🦌
- the legend of Oisín
..that's about it 😄

@@dgsquare No; in part it's because he seems like the leader of the group and the one who would get the most attention from groupies - in part it is because of the shape of his head and me being able to imagine him lying on a big rock barking at others.
