You missed an opportunity to mention Prince Bira for whom the track is named. He was the first Thai driver to compete internationally.. From the mid 1930's until his retirement from F1 in 1955.
That pink car was a Pontiac Bonneville. I am so GLAD you said your fired "cruises around in that Black Mustang!" I would love to do that with my 2021 Chevrolet Camaro ZL-1, when it is the right timing for me to live there. I know it is going to be expensive for me to bring it there as well. I am leaving for a short visit to the Philippines and Thailand tomorrow morning and coming back here December 10. Great to see there is a Muscle Car community over there! BRAND-NEW Corvettes here in California cost about the same price or less than that older Black Corvette with over 1,000+ HP from the factory. I understand about mods and the car being rare and sold overseas too! . I just got my car a few months ago with only 3773 miles on it and it has 650 HP from the factory. Now my car has 11,000+ miles on it. Thank you again!
There are some guys in Thailand that have some money. It's awesome to see these muscle cars getting around Thailand. Love old skool muscle cars as I have two in my collection down under Australia
@@nicholasfox3670 😂 easily reversible mods. That that's your personal preference if you want to be a purists with everything, that's boring in most cases. 🤷♂️
Awesome mate loved the car and bike show they had going on there, sensational cars! great to see two Holden HQ Coupes there, what are the chances LOL can't wait to catch up with your buddy with the three cars already been speaking to him 🤙
I have a 1967 Lincoln, suicide doors. Dude my boys love it when I drive them to school or pick them up. Blacked out, they dress up for Halloween it's like the Munster mobile.
Likely because roads in Thailand don’t do so well for lowered cars. And given that the Exorcist comes with carbon aero pieces, I don’t think the owner wants to worry about breaking them.
The pink car is a 1967 Pontiac. I drove across Canada in one when I was 17. When me and my buddy told his father we were planning to hitchhike, he said, "No you're not. Take my car". What a great old man he was. (by the way, I was parked 2 bikes from you at Bikers Cafe and said hi. Did you see Denzel Washington there?)
CB, IMO you should import a viper GTS from the usa. Break it down in the usa, pull the motor and transmission and ship the body to thailand empty. Then ship the engine and tranny separate. rebuild in thailand and throw down!
Pink ones a "66 Pontiac GTO. Bumper badge gave it away... I think I'd put the towncar near a beach, turn it in to an air bnb. About the right size....🤔🤣☠🏴☠
Awesome vid! Hope to make some events in Thailand next year. Was trying to make underup in December but having just finished up with SEMA and GTR Festival USA it might be a stretch
I drove thru Sattahip and visited that big garden if it was the garden with the dinosaurs. And it also rained on us in January, rather hard for a few minutes.
BITCHIN video Chad! My favorite of yours. Now I know why I gotta join your Patreon now! Oh…btw…that pink Pontiac was a ‘67 Grand Prix convertible! The only year Pontiac made the GP with a rag top. Before I moved here 18 months ago, I had to leave my baby home in The US…a pristine ‘63 Grand Prix. Fully loaded-all pwr…with a badass 421 Super Duty Tri-Power. I miss her badly!
@BADQ my neighbors mate who was just a teenager 35yrs ago had a black HQ Manaro with centre line rims it was a beast and my neighbor he had a red Sandman. He was popular with the girls with that shagn wagon .
@@kanenstuff Oh awesome! they look the part with centreline rims, especially the autodrags. I might be bias as my red HQ coupe runs them. Haha gotta love the shaggin wagons!
The Holden with 2 doors is called a Monaro, not sure if it was a HQ or not the ones worth the most in Australia nowadays are the HG, HT Monaro's they were a few years before the HQ or HZ Monaro's. Cheers 🙂
New level of immersion reached! What's next VR Scooter ride? Gave a better perspective of the city than from inside a car. Makes me think about doing adventures on my 319cc 8" Pocket bike
Ahh, so you moved to Pratumnak. Miss hearing you clearing the pipes down 2nd Rd. Just as well...the BIBs been running a check point where you used to hit 3rd.
Oh yes, there was a lot of rain on that day. If you had stayed for the buffet lunch you would have been soaked getting dishes! I got rain on my way there and back home. Too bad I didn't know about the Porsche event. Looks like it was the only dry spot in the whole Chonburi district 😅
Must have been running just behind you as sent to the same event got caught in the rain as well on the way to bira, but didn't go in as was wet like heck and just went home
911 GT3RS are like 1,200 000 CAD in Thailand. Ive never seen so many Bentley or Maybach, they worth 3x because of taxes here, 1.5 to 2.5 mill dollars cars.
I want ti move to Thailand one day for the car culture or the Philippines because I like it’s traditional culture. Car culture and traditional culture seems to be dying out here in the US. Any info on how much Japanese cars are in Thailand and the Philippines?
Scooter POV is underrated ! Reminds me of the 2020 explore vids.
WOW - An old Aussie HQ Monaro.... Great car.... Came in a 253, 307 and 350ci V8 versions....
3:34 Holden Monaro HQ GTS Coupe. Holy sheeet!!!
There was two HQ coupes there lol
YES ! I noticed that as well!
yep. There are actually quite a few Holdens in Thailand
What is the engine in them please?
@@cspruitt3190 I think they were either a 253 V6 or a 308 V8
Incredibly Impressed by the Car Culture in Thailand... Was NOT expecting ANY of this... WOW!
The Torino behind your friend's Mustang is a beauty!

never knew F1 allowed Tuk Tuks slurping on high octane rice wine while bare foot powered.
Chad it’s just like old times in the OG vids. So good!!!! Miss the janky no prep motorcycle tours.

1967 the Bonneville and Catalina Coupe look so similar, it's hard to tell which one it is.
What about the Australian HQ Monaro coupe ! That’s a rare car now

Import duty on 'Hi end cars' in Thailand can be up to 300%. ** Number plate on the black Mercedes is worth big money too!

Anyone that thinks the Lincoln continental with the suicide doors just sits and rots is high as a kit.
Driving around the 'hood in most major cities you'll find those old Lincoln's quite often.
Show us the botanical gardens please
You have to admire Chad's enthusiasm........ and knowledge!!!!!
If that was a real exorcist Camaro, that was like 1500 horsepower you just walked by, but looking at the car, it doesn’t sit like a real exorcist.
Yeah looked like a sticker job.
Likely because roads in Thailand don’t do so well for lowered cars. And given that the Exorcist comes with carbon aero pieces, I don’t think the owner wants to worry about breaking them.
Hq Holden Monaro next to the green mustang

Bro, you skipped right over that Torino between your buddy's Camaro and that Mustang. That Torino was sweeeeeet!
I got to Bangkok last week, thanks for reminding me about the botanical garden, I'll be sure to get down there and take a look.
74 camaros don't have the wrap around back window, 75 was first year for that.
Chad, you rock! Love the channel and content. Peace 🤘
Koh Larn is another must do when in Pattaya. (Sanctuary of Truth and the Temple next to Buddha Mountain were also pretty mind-blowing!)

Great video man. I would have given up after the first or second rain…
Cool scooter man I wish we had more of that type modification here in US or at least I have not seen them.
I don't think you mentioned the tires on the scooty, what kind of rubber you got on that steed?
Great job 👏

That Cup Car looks cool
That honda city or w/e u called it was prdy neat i could see them looking really cool modded and wonder what engine they come with
2:53 we do have that honda in the US it is the HRV
I had an 84 and 87 Towncars with systems back in the day...
How many Aussies did you come across. . We love our big blocks.
Love the 74 Z28 Camaro
Question: If they outlaw import cars, how do they get newer cars out there?
Thailand’s law allow new car import. But it came with 300% import tax. Secondhand car isn’t.
@ap2831381 Ouch!
hey neighbor, Im on soi 5. who did the work on the yamaha?
So would the holden of had to be imported as well?
Holden exported quite a lot of cars to Thailand back in the day.
Didn’t a Porsche driver die at that exact track very recently or was it a different track? It looks very similar
