    You could really scale this up with a five-gallon water jug and use computer fans to generate the air flow also if you can find a desiccate material it would give you far more volume of liquid. this is a great proof of concept.

    • @anthonymark2516
      @anthonymark2516 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      The way I think it works is that the fan and the large opening to the fan casing would be an intake.
      I was confused why he put holes in the top of the big bottle but I guess thats to make sure the air keeps flowing.
      So kind of like on a hot day how you can still create a cool breeze by blowing air tightly out of your lips on the back of your hand.
      Or when we are blowing on food to cool it down.
      Imagine if you didnt have to take a breath and could keep blowing all day.
      This would be the effect. I could be wrong though.

    • @N0B0DY5i1
      @N0B0DY5i1 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      its like dude said its an intake which means vacuum, its absorbing hot air which travels to the dripper where hot and cold energies meet and collide resulting in water to be built up at the ground where its colder because its being insulated the closer to the bottom nearest the dirt which creates a cool shade opposing the outside heat and began to precipitate within the contraption
      this is mostly practical in any situation only problem becomes efficiency desert like terrain means you might need to dig tightly further down
      where urban cities and jungles can just find shade effortlessly if cool places cannot be identified to battle the hot energies then one will yield mostly vapors that quickly dissipate or cause fires and melt the contraption, you can always make cold energies too
      this system only works if both energies are fighting hot and cold
      you can check out the peltier and heat sinks do the same

    I don't see why everyone is trying to make or invent water makers when they have been around for years in the form of a fridge????
    Is everyone so blind that they can't see the drip tray in their fridge, (usually under the freezer box. If your fridge doesn't have one, get one made, or make one yourself). This drip tray usually transfers water to the rear of the fridge where it evaporates into the surrounding air.
    Just divert the drip tray water to a vented bottle or other vented container at the bottom of the fridge!!!!!
    If a hose is attached to the bottom of the drip tray with a top that fits say a Tesco 1.5 litre water bottle or other suitable container that has a tiny air vent to catch the water, you then have your own water producer.
    Just make sure the freezer compartment and water drip tray in the fridge is really clean then test water to make sure it's ok to drink!
    If more water is required you just need to turn the fridge down instead of up!!!! Turning fridge up makes it colder... which is towards freezing, so less water is produced.
    Turning the fridge down makes it a little warmer in your fridge which produces more water for the drip tray, which is towards defrosting the fridge!
    This water may need filtering as it comes from defrosting the freezer box. Ensure freezer box is clean and does not contain moldy food or package leftovers.
    One of my fridges can produce 2 to 3 litres per day when fridge is set to halfway, (3), between min and max. Lowered to 2 it will produce even more and still keep food cold, but freezer is not good for storing frozen food. I have a separate freezer for frozen food.
    I live in Thailand where it's usually anywhere between 30 to 40 degrees C
    The fridge is a Mitsubishi fridge, medium size fridge MR-17G-SL(THAI), 2014, SN 40100479
    Cost to run per month is around 120 Thai Baht which is nearly 4$ USD Very cheap.
    This fridge does have a drip tray but no evaporator for condensate water from the freezer box. So I can just empty the drip tray to any container.
    Always test the water first!
    If you don't use the water for yourself then use it for your garden.
    This way you can cool your food and have cool or even cold water at the same time. 😀
