I loved a lot of them. Interestingly enough, my favorite was Apophis, the one who tries to swallow the sun every night. Despite it being a rather "dark" entity, the depiction is quite beautiful. I was kind of surprised they used Apophis (the Coptic and Greek name) rather than Apep, closer to how the Egyptian name was believed to be pronounced.

There were 4 I didn't know off the top of my head but have heard of before. As someone who loves ancient Egyptian mythology, I'm in love with the art! It doesn't feel contrived, and like you said, it feels very intentional. The meanings seemed on point, given most gods represent more than one thing. Seeing one after the other, I realized how many of them are depicted with the Was scepter; which, after looking it up, makes sense. It's a symbol of power over chaos. I also appreciate it was painted on papyrus rather than a painted picture being digitally transferred onto a papyrus background. I appreciated the guidebook in that it doesn't go off on a really "modern" reading, but keeps more to the meanings of the gods. The price isn't bad for the number of cards, though I would love more since there are hundreds of Egyptian gods. There are quite a few ancient Egyptian tarots and oracles out there and this is the first I've been drawn to. Most are either poorly researched and executed or too modernized.

It’s would be great if LoScarebo did one for Rome, Greece and other ancient civilizations and then we could combine them. I love to combine Lo Scarebeo decks when I can find matching energies since they are so thin. Meanwhile imma need a whole reference book to read these cards and symbols 😅. I wish I had the kinda time I need to do an Egyptian deep dive. There are a few decks I want but I know I don’t have the time to learn to read them 😢

    Haven't seen this before.
I really like it. It's so interesting.
I was so into the Egyptian culture when I was young. Read dozens of books. I am still fascinated.
I loved the most : the order and peace card.

I wish the cardstock was a bit sturdier, but I think the images and keywords are fitting and well done, definitely gonna get this one!

This won't be going on my wish list as I am becoming pickier for what comes into my collection. This would be a nice deck to accompany the Fanestra Tarot having said that. Thank you for your review. I always enjoy them.

Would anyone happen to have a link to the PDF explaining the meanings behind the cards? My deck didn't come with a booklet and the QR code leads nowhere :'(

Is it just me or did the guide book sound a bit 'judge-y' 😆 I like the look of the cards and I would consider buying them as I don't have anything Egyptian style in my collection, and as always, I loved your walk-through, your unboxing videos are the best on TarotTube, much love❤

Oh thank you so much! After reading a few of the different card meanings I didn't think it was judge-y, I just think it doesn't mince words. But that's just me. ❤️❤️❤️

I dont mind them , like you I enjoy the artwork and words down the bottom . As a younger person I really enjoyed the study of Egyptology but I have lost that thread now. If I brought them , I’d have to go back and study Ancient Egypt again . But I’d accept as a gift .

It’s a gorgeous deck, however some of the word associations with the deities are really odd choices
