  • This video takes a quick look at a P210-5 heavy frame, a regular 210-5 and a German P210. Which is the best? You decide!

Hey I don't know if you still reply to comments but you seem to be the only person on YT that's a real person that has a P210 Heavy Frame and a regular frame. Do the heavy frame grips fit the regular frame? It looks like the area near the web of the hand is reinforced on the heavy frame so maybe the heavy frame grips can fit the regular frame and not vice versa? How bad is the gap left by the grips if they do fit? Nill has the exact style I want but annoyingly only available for the heavy frame version (stippled service style with lanyard loop).

Awesome 210 guide, if we could get some more content and general information on yours and the platform in general that would be neat.

No they do not, I purchased some nice target grips for my heavy frame and when I got them, surprise they didn't fit. Make sure they they say they are for a heavy frame and get some type of return policy. My on the lookout for my new P210 video I have something really interesting to show.

@@sxs2950 So were those regular P210 grips trying to go on the heavy frame? What about heavy frame grips on a regular P210?

Great info!, i own a p210-6 duotone with plume colour frame with the magazine heel, i really wish i've got the mag realize instead, because the magazine sits very tight and it rubs alot on the frame.

So is the heavy frame version longer? It should be self explanatory but I hoped the weight increase was because of an extended barrel. You'd think that would make it more accurate like a rifle but nope it's lame and is heavier just for the sake of it.

Well one thing you did for me is make my mind up about wanting one of these?LOL NOPE! I have plenty of well running and good handguns as well as carbine and single action revolvers. For the amount of money that people are asking for a gun that wont shoot any better then my Springfield 1911 Loaded Target 45ACP 5 SS AS I will just stick with that or one of my Glocks or Ruger's even! LOL I guess ill have to hold one in my hand and maybe even shoot it to decide ultimately? But damn thats a lot of money !!! Because if i were to buy one i would want one of the Swiss Military versions. For the reliabilty and accuracy they would commend in order to deploy them. One question i have for this gun is ,since it costs so much will it fire +P regularly without damaging the gun/fun?

The heavy frame and the Danish versions with the stiffer recoil spring can fire +P otherwise if the serial number is before P60000 the heat treatment was not perfected and +P ammunition will in time crack the slide.

i might have missed if you mention it, but what do you think about the new SIG Sauer USA p210's?

I guess, he said that he hadn't shot one yet, thought he appreciated the looks of the American model.

I have not tried one yet, I have held a few. From what I have heard, people seem to be happy with them for the most part. I know some people will state that they don't have the accuracy of the Swiss P210 but these don't cost $3-5K. If they are reliable and half as accurate as the Swiss P210 then they are a great value!!

Avoid it's a sad garbage copy that insults the Swiss design and history.
