- Is Theodore doing any better?! It's been a few months since I had him x-rayed and discovered his thin soles. Today we see the farrier - let's see how he's doing after working on a barefoot rehab plan.
I also practiced loading and backing my trailer.

I'm the best at backing my trailer when no one is watching. As soon as someone watches I can't back it to save my life 😅 hahaha glad Theodore is doing better!

It’s always when the camera isn’t on that everything goes perfect. Then you turn it on, and it all goes out the window again 😂

You are doing great with the trailer, I cannot reverse my Rogue without using it's backup camera and it is just a tiny little SUV! When snow is stuck on the lens I actually have to use my brain 😂. I can drive a huge hay tractor forward..but I have trouble reversing anything, even small things😊 Practice makes perfect!!
Glad to hear the old rental barn is working out...back to stalls again for the cooler weather which is coming much too quickly. Your Kentucky Mustang trip is right around the corner now..enjoy the weather down there in horse country and enjoy your time there! When you get home, a fall short ride on Theodore will feel sooooo good!❤ So glad he is doing better!
Learning how to backup your trailer is a process. I was just like you are in the beginning. The key is practice, practice, practice! I struggled with using the Mirrors only vs looking over my shoulders. When you do that you have a tendency to turn your wheels the wrong way. Suggestion; take the empty trailer to an vacant parking lot, set up cones to practice.
You'll figure it out! Just like training your horses it takes repetition. So just practice. Your patience will pay off.

I relate to so many things here(including the challenge of backing a trailer). Life is hard with bouts of depression. My OTTB saved me. One of the things I found useful was to treat myself like I would my best friend, for me, it made me less negatively judgemental of myself and my abilities, and more patient with myself. Also, sometimes when I was down, fighting it, expecting I should snap out of it, just prolonged it. Sometimes just wallowing in it completely helped shorten the duration and depth. Life is too precious and too short to mentally beat yourself up, and there are plenty of people who are happy to do it for you. I don't know you other than what I've gathered from your videos, but what I see is a girl who is courageous and is taking the risk to follow her dream, a personable, healthy and attractive girl, and a girl who is amazing with horses. This is just a few of the positives to focus on and be proud of. I watch several horse vloggers, but you are the one whose videos I most look forward to. Take the pressure off yourself, and bravo on the trailer backing. Also, loved the lesson from your farrier, especially the actual horse hooves, guess I'm nerdy too.

I totally agree with you on the hands-on learning. I just moved from Vegas back to Dallas with a trailer on my crossover and I have seen more videos and heard more people explain how to back up a trailer. But when it came time for me to put all that into practice I still failed at it miserably! LOL

I hear you on the depression thing. I deal with it too and it can be a rough stint!!! Dont get down on yourself! Your not alone!! Being in hot az where its 115 degrees, it sucks when your stuck inside and cant ride your horses.... Be well !!!!! Sending support!!!! Ps I love VT !!!

First, I’m so sorry I didn’t notice my iPad changed your name to Brittany in my last comment, goes to show I need to re-read my comments 😮 Second, that was a wonderfully informative video, thank you so much for sharing the info about the barefoot rehab and also those great models your farrier had. We all know how important feet are for our horses. I feel you with trailer backing, I’m always practicing and still have to ask my husband for help.
1 ft n front of the other. Its the only way to walk out of depression. Dont stop. We enjoy your channel. 1 day at a time and itvWILL get better. Ive dealt w terrible depression my whole life. It is possible to walk through it and find the other side!!
