    Could you do a video about your preferred running gear? Not necessarily brands, but styles, features, or types of workout clothing/shoes that you like best. Maybe what you like to wear for different types of workouts or races, or features that you like to avoid in running gear or for specific activities? Thanks!

    Georgie in the intro on leash is the cutest thing ever! Do you generally train your upper body as a runner? You made those pull-ups look very easy.

    Hi Allie i hope you have no objections but i am now using you as my training mentor because everyone has been remarking how much better i getting at running.I did a after work run 6.22 and felt really comfortable.We been hit with a heatwave in England and i struggle to run in heat but with marathon looming around the corner i cannot make excuses.

    When you do these videos I am amazed at how high you can get your HR while cross training. For example, when you did the easy bike the average HR was 143! What is your max HR? How high is your HR when running in competition? I'm assuming it's scary high!

    I’m not a huge fan of the plates under your heels while doing squats. It cuts into your calves/achilles stretching because you limit their range. Just a thought.

    Do you use a wrist heart rate monitor or a chest strap? Any opinion on which one to use?

    • @allie_ostrander
      @allie_ostrander  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use a wrist one, which isn't the most accurate, but I use it mainly to compare my heart rate day to day, so just as a relative measure. If you want accurate heart rate, I would recommend a chest strap for sure.

      It’s been a while since I’ve done aqua jogging but I remember having to be in constant “jogging” mode to stay afloat. (I can’t swim either.) +1 on trying in pool first.

    • @allie_ostrander
      @allie_ostrander  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Ooo, I didn't knew you can use the Running Mode for aquajog 😏.
    Question: In the fitness we have an eliptical too. On YT you can see all kind of video's how to use (... move on) the eliptical. I think there is alot of b*llsh*t about how to use it. How are you "running" on the eliptical?

    I hang with a group of elite private investigators here in Los Angeles, in the year 1940. I asked them to view your video but because their only real interests are broads and booze, they refused and cursed me out. I demanded that they watch it anyway, and after punches and profanities were thrown, they relented. So here is their sole comment: perhaps including in your schedule one full day off every so often (every few weeks?) would be helpful. Remember these gumshoes have no athletic background at all, and their only exercise is raising a bottle of gin to their lips, so take the advice with a grain of salt. Best Wishes.
