I like this mechanic I think it's fun and original even tho I don't really understand why you do not keep the arcane mechanic consistent with this one. Why did u choose to have two separate mechanics for arcane and melee when u could just have one for both things? This mechanic I find much more strategic and less derivative. Don't get me wrong I love Malifaux but da poker mechanic I find un-european or at least very "brexit". Sorry for my little criticism in fact I believe your project is interesting, minis are lovely and the overall art direction really rocks! I'm totally pledging on this one!
