I think Chelsea will do everything they can to sign him. Reducing the number of players on the squad is important and we will have to see what position Mudryk ends up playing in + the signing of Nkunku.
If todd stick with potter, he never get osimhen. As we all know, potter never like a rigid striker or a target man.
I think Felix and nkunku would be fighting for the same spot rather than havertz.

Please your technical analyses has been formidable and quite correct for Chelsea to go at all length to sign Osimhen from Napoli this coming transfer window. We just hope Boehly go for this player as from now before the window opens to avoid rush and price hike.

You are probably a better analyst than most of the pundits on TV. This is so detailed and I agree with you that Osimhen will fit in at Chelsea. The only issue I have is what then will be the role of Nkunku when he comes. Would'nt he be like Anthony of Man Utd as describe in your other video on why Man Utd shouldn't sign Osimhen?
I think Nkunku will make runs like Rashford and Anthony and will prefer to shoot instead of cross for Osimhen.
Nevertheless, Osimhen will be a good addition to Chelsea.

great analysis but as a chelsea fan, the pinning back of the opponent backline really reminds me of lukaku before we bought him when we were in dire need for a striker.really love Osimhen but that striker situation at chelsea since Costa has given me headaches.
Lukaku and Osimhen are not the same player because Lukaku preferred the ball to his feet even though his physical attributes were of a different profile. Osimhen can be effective without the ball!
@@footywithanedge very true and your analysis has made that very clear to me. he is much more mobile and potter really wants to win the ball back in those high positions and with the intensity of osimhen while with lukaku he doesnt seem as mobile, like you stated in the awesome video,chelsea need to trim down that front line down.

Great analysis here but again Potter loves a fluid front 3 and selfless forwards ironically strikers out and out ones under Potter have failed but inside forwards always seem to perform well coz of the constant interchange of positions.
We want a traditional striker
He will cost 150 million, but with the current market prices it is hard for me to say that is too much xd(seems worth it if they sell a fair amount of players).
No costs under 200 M., and off any transfers moves or talks!
If this was last year or 2 years ago I’d be worried about the problems you stated. However, these owners have shown they are ruthless when getting what they want. Players will be sold in the summer. And I believe they will get all the positional targets they are looking at.
For your sake and Chelsea fan's sake, let's hope that Boehly can address the issues I described. If so, Osimhen will be good for you guys!
Great video as always! I think I speak for all Chelsea fans when I say we would love Osimhen, but might be a little weary given the price tag and bloated squad. Are there any options Chelsea currently have at the club (Broja, Fofana) that could be just as effective as Osimhen or at there any cheaper options in the market that the club could turn to?
If I was in-charge of Chelsea, I wouldn't spend this kind of money on ANY player except for Prime Messi, Prime CR7 or Mbappe. Because for me, spending X on a player is worth it when they can prove to be worth more than X. Can Osimhen prove to be worth more than 150M? Not sure.
But unfortunately in the current football market, you have to spend X to get a player worth 70-80% of X. This means to get a quality player worth 100M, you got to spend north of 130-140M.
RE: players at the club or cheaper options. Ofcourse a developmental player would be ideal because they cost a LOT LESS, but there's more of a question mark about them. Osimhen vs Broja or Fofana is a matter of guaranteed quality vs potential. If Chelsea fans and Boehly want the sure thing and they want it now, Osimhen is the way to go. If not, invest in Broja and Fofana and they can come good in 2-3 seasons!

Broja is not close to Osimhen, not to mention he is now in a long injury and will need time to recover. I think it would be better to loan him out and monitor him.

Understood, Broja and DDF just aren’t there yet whereas Osimhen is. Just wish we would spend the money on bringing in a proper CDM and find a temporary striker while those two are still developing. Also wanna see how the squad looks once Nkunku is around and Potter has the chance to work with the players for a full pre-season. I hope that with the players’ better understanding of one another’s’ movements and the system, that we start seeing more goals. Thanks everyone!
No doubts we'll sell a lot of players & sign a cdm this summer. Napoli are tough to deal with so if osimhen pushes i can see us signing him. Nkunku coming & we'll buy felix i can see a whole revamp in attack/midfield next season. Osimhen should be our priority striker. I wanted to ask what do you think of G.Ramos from benfica if osimhen isn't viable?

Osimhen is perfect for Chelsea. I wouldn’t be too concerned with Potter. I just think that he is a Chelsea type of striker

I would be shocked if Chelsea don't sell off (and loan) several of their current forwards. That will solve the issue of too much inventory up top. Also, if we sign Osimhen then Felix most likely won't be signed permanently. This is a bit risky considering the potential Felix has shown, but I think I would rather take my chances with Nkunku replacing Felix and having Osimhen on the team too. I imagine Nkunku and Havertz (unless he's sold; but he's finally getting to play his real position) will be the 10s behind Osimhen. And of course, we need a CDM to let Enzo play a little more freely too.
I like Nkunku but I dont like Felix as much as hes being hyped! IMO not worth the 100M that atleti will ask for.

while i would love to see this happen, i also think it shouldnt, mainly because of the second point and a little of the third point in the video. i have no doubt that chelsea will sell a ton of the forwards in the summer, but even then there will be issues because even some of the players bought in the last window dont fit with potters 'new' preferred formation. chelsea bought mudryk and madueke specifically to play as wide wingers in a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 system and they dont have a place in this 3-4-3 one. potter knows this, and that is why he played mudryk as a 9. lets say this is the new role for mudryk, even then you still have broja and (possibly) dd fofana up there. what are you going to do with them? and nkunku. nkunkus arrival is also the reason why i believe felix wont get signed because they seem to me a very similar type of player (but i dont know much about him. an analysis of his play would be appreciated). how madueke fits is still a mystery. you have to remember, chelsea shackled these players for 8, 9 years. it would be a disappointment if they are trashed away into the loan army.

I like how you insisted that even though we play with mobile forwards up top (Havertz, Sterling, Mudryk), Osimhen being "static" and making diagonal runs (instead of dropping deep) will free space for the other forwards.
But you did very well to mention the caveats. The price being one of them, the bloated squad being another, let me add the fact that there is 90% chance that we also miss on c1. Will Osimhen come to a C1less Chelsea after such season?
Bar Enzo, very expensive players rarely work that well for Chelsea (Kepa? Torres? Morata? Lukaku? etc...). The way I see it, for it to work for Chelsea, it's either Osimhen stays at Napoli an additional year until we make it back to the c1 or we go for strikers a tier below like Ivan Toney or Marcus Thuram who I have a slight preference for (we will have a strong french connection between W. Fofana, Nkunku, Kante, enough to tempt Mbappe down the line if he does not go to Real? 😛 or other best upcoming french talents Kolo Muani 😉)
People don't mention it enough but Osimhen injury record doesn't fill me with confidence either. Some people dismiss it as being unlucky but if someone is that "unlucky" when so young, I see it written all over when he gets older.

I’d be happy to buy him at Chelsea if we do something we haven’t done in our recent history. Set the team up around our striker. If Potter doesn’t want to commit to this, then use him the way Pep has used Haaland. 5 touches per half in some cases.
I think Chelsea with or without Potter will put in crosses as long as they play Chilwell and James!

When it comes to tactics, Osimhen fits, but Chelsea have many players who need to be shipped out of the club. As of now Potter is having too much talent for his selection, Let's see what happens after the league ends and what will the pre season bring to Chelsea. Currently I don't feel the vibe of Osimhen maybe Lukaku will be restored to the role because he fits the team perfectly under Potter

If Chelsea are able to offload some players as they are looking to do, they could probably make up a good chunk of the $150 million price tag while also decreasing the squad size. A striker has not been a priority so far, but I think it will be a priority this summer, along with getting a CDM. A Gk is also a priority, but I don't know if we'll simply stick to Gabriel slonina or go out looking for another keeper.

Todd has already said he’s making a marquee signing in the summer and the only player that fits this is Oshimen. A number 9 and dm is really needed and I believe we will sell players for this to happen.

Great Video bro, but i strongly disagree with you about Chelsea's priority. We Definitely do need a Striker more than anything else at the moment.
Also Chelsea definitely has the money. Furthermore, we didn't exactly spend that much last transfer window. We are paying off clubs in installments, thats why Mudryk and Enzo have such long term contracts. For example, we agreed to buy Mudryk for around $108million but its spread out over the time span of 8.5 years, so in reality, we are really just paying Shakhtar around $12.8million per year for Mudryk. The benefit of this is, if a player flops, we can just sell them without to many complications.

I think victor will be a great striker for most teams,
He really offers a central piece that pushes the backline back.
My issue with him is his abysimal involvement in the passing game.
Most modern coaches does recuire their strikers beeing an outlet and a builder of the play.
Benzema, lewandoski, jesus all does this well.

As a chelsea fan, I'm not convinced. based on your analysis, osimhen wants to run the channels and in behind - properties of every striker that has failed at chelsea. We simply do not play like that, that through ball will never come and he will be frustrated. He will have no option other than to drop deep. Now we are better at this with felix and Enzo, but as a team, we still play that stupid possession football, always recycling the ball. No one will be slipping him in

Annnnndddddd, there's one more benefit to the Chelsea team. Havertz will perform better with Osimhen in the team. Simple as that. Osimhen will take the burden off of Havertz's shoulder in the scoring department.
Another club that osimhen can fit in is Real Madrid, they create lots of chances.
Chelsea will have to sell HAVERTZ, zyech and maybe pulisic. Would be great to get all 3 of these out and bring in big Vick

Thank you for making a video on my request. I think Lukaku and Osimhen both are similar in terms of playing style, after this season Potter should try Lukaku in his system maybe he will play well and we don't have to spend 150million in one position.
Chelsea are not the right fit for Osimhen however. He should be playing in a dynamic passing team that forces pressing early on to create space behind that is a threat with his pace forcing an impossible dilemma for defences.
My concern and hear me out when I say this, it's the fact fact he'll most likely choose no 9 and then boom disasterclass

Disagree, Osimhen needs service, Chelsea has many wingers that are very selfish and would rather dribble and shoot then create for a striker. Thats exactly why Lukaku failed. For 150m he needs to go to a team that creates mainly for him. When you take into account, that Reece James and Ben Chilwell that are pretty much the only ones that cross the ball and they are missing like 50% of matches throughout the season. Its a NO from me for Osimhen, he would fail just like many before him. Chelsea dropped the ball not signing Jesus, they need a striker like him, thats more involved and works hard.

The best team for Osimhen is either ManC or Arsenal because of how they play. ManC have Haarland so Arsenal would be the best club for him in the EPL imho.

Both City and Arsenal play this exceptionally well and Martinelli, Saka and Osimhem up front would be similar to Liverpool with Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling back in the day. Service from Odegaard too.
Oshimen would be top2 flop at Chels after lakaka. Goncalo Ramos>Oshimen by far. Higher ceiling, not that overpriced and he's more technical. We've seen already how serie a strikers work in England with Scamacca or lakaka.
