    Fiji is awesome, friendliest people you will ever meet, and great sense of humour. We flew in, and a huge line at arrivals, so some chick decided to jump the que and stood next to us near the front,one of the Fijian officials asked if she was with us, and when we said no they pulled her aside and made her wait till they cleared everyone else, like 200 people from 2 planes. Priceless !

    Im so excited you are going through Fiji! It is my favorite place on the planet! Gonna be moving there within the next 2 years. I hope you are ready for some of the most epic jungle, soft coral snorkels, incredible scuba, great surf and fishing, great Indo-Fijian food.....man the list goes on and on!!     Ha ha!! Glad you made it to Fiji. The trash situation reminded me of when I lived in Western Samoa. The trash is on platforms to keep the dogs out of it and from spreading it all over!! Loving your trip!! Keep enjoying the little things.

    a realy nice boat (vessel ) wil it be with an auto pilot or an windvane or how do you steer it when you going to rest ?
    I can only say as a technician this is one of a kind design and looks bombproof

      most people watch on their phones so filming in 4k and finding internet good enough to upload files that big would not be worth the trouble and sometimes would mean it was impossible to upload

    I have not but have plans to do a lot of the type of cruising your talking about. Never having done it before it sure would be nice for more specific information that is needed to clear into each new countries ports. None of the channels I have viewed yet give that kind of information. All they say is “took our paperwork in to clear.” But I have no ideal what that paperwork is.

    I’m curious as to why the water in Fiji is so different from say Tahiti and Bora Bora etc, where it was almost crystal clear? Love your vids man

      Just depends on where you are. Coprashed marina is in creek so the water is murky, but in the Yasawa group the water is as clear as Bora Bora.

    Next stop new caledonia ? Im tracing your route on my globe. Its the coolest globe I have ever seen. They used satellite photos for the outlines of the land and it shows everthing just like looking down from space.

      @@SailorJames right. I thought of that right after I left the comment. New Zealand is a very beautiful place. The southern alps are spectacular and I'm sure there very visible from the sea. On the other hand new caledonia looks like kind of a dump. Thats why you never hear much about it. But its a huge Island.

    Do you think the fact of the clearing officers being more friendly on fiji than samoa has to do with Fiji just seeing far more tourism than Samoa? Or what do you think it could be attributed to?

      My brother in law is Fijian and they're kinda just like that. Super chill relaxed people. Their culture is also very community orientated so that makes them even more welcoming. They do also get a shit tonne of tourists so they're used to them too.

      The difference is SavuSavu and Suva are in very different places within Fiji.

      I understand that. But your charts and Navionics would have showed the correct name; I think you would have no problem saying Savusavu, the correct name. It just takes a bit of effort to be aware of where you are in foreign countries - as well as being respectful of the area you’re in.
