0:56 That was made you know exactly you're in BKK.the cable everywhere every coners and all the street.I can tell.the government never feel bad to made people under the danger.Welcome to PAT.stadium "the home of hell for the away team" that the words from Ports fans give to away teams.⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽
You're alright for a Liverpool fan 👍 I've enjoyed your SE Asia football groundhopping a lot. Port has been on my bucket list for a couple of years now but never got around to it.
So glad to see you made it to a Thai game.. and Port FC no less! My Thai team (my local team when I lived in BKK). I commented in an earlier I thought their atmosphere was awesome before, during and after the game! Great video as always 🍻
Both Port and BG lost 1-2 at home last night. The Port manager apologised to the fans while the BG manager fell on his sword! Word of warning. To buy tickets for some Thai matches you need to go online. BG is one example. Just found out the Port coach also resigned but it did take him a few hours.
Orange and blue. A nice combo 😊 What a life you have carved out for yourself Sam?! To be young enough to have enough money to fly to far flung places to watch and document social history, cultures and football!!! From Kilmarnock to Kuala Lumpur huzzar!
At the start I wondered if you were about to dive into 7-11 and get a toastie...and you did. 😁 Glad you enjoyed your first visit to the PAT, we have yet to have a Saturday kick-off (now into 2nd half of the season) and that has contributed to some of the fan apathy, a 6pm kick-off last week meant a lot of fans weren't going to reach the stadium in time for the start. The fan zone is great, usually the hour before and about an hour after the match. 75 baht for a big Leo (£1.80) and cheap food. The big home matches that sell out are usually Buriram and Muangthong, they've both happened already for this season. When we play Bangkok Utd, that will probably draw a big crowd, that's the only big home match we have coming up in the 2nd half of the seaosn. I didn't realize the ultras didn't sing/drum at the end on Wednesday, that pretty much never happens, even if we lose 3-0. The Port coach was sacked about 2 hours after the match. He did quit earlier in the season too but was allowed to come back a week later (we actually won an ACL2 away match in China without him that time!)
fair play to the small section of away fans mate, I looked on google maps. 6 and half hours drive or 10 hours by train (assuming they came from the place the team is from). Sometimes we forget a lot of countries are much bigger than the UK
not officially anymore. She is now head of the FA Thailand. She still attends most games from a box just behind the stand the video was shot in. At the previous home game, she came into the food and drink area after the match as there was a post-match concert.
Port is a weird team. They are always amongst the biggest spenders but rarely win any title. Their foreign signings are C+ or B grades at best and it's the Thai players who carry the team. They should spend more on the quality foreign players, really.
I'd seen a few travel vloggers raving about those 7-Eleven ham and cheese toasties, so when I was in Thailand in late 2023, I thought I'd better try one. Seriously major disappointment, there's nothing special about them at all!! 😆
Mon the any coloured hoops! I always wanted to go to football there, but the season always closed when been there,i tried to get a ticket for a world cup qualifier in June but was sold out.😥👏👏Good stuff,Chon Buri would be the nearest team to where i stay when down there.
PLEASE LEAVE A LIKE!!! 👍👍 ขอบคุณ
Yes
Would love to see you visot the Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and Philippines too someday.
@@FootyAdventures Bro should look Shan united Vs Yangon united . Because it is Myanmar derby and Yangon is safe zone .

"You're a West Ham fan." "'OWD YOU KNOW?!" "You told me." hahahahahahaha
Thank you for this video. Have Thai family and always wanted to see how the game and fans were there. Great stuff!
Bumping in to someone who's worked in Thurso in Banglok is mental

Fair play to all 10 Away fans 👏

Port FC always attracts lots of tourist because they are smacked right in Central Bangkok.
Very true 🇹🇭
Nice video!
What a great place to watch a football game
No Firhill though

Another fantastic vlog Sam. Excellent stuff 👍
Loving the videos from Asia Sam. Keep em coming
Buriram at the thunderdome is on my bucket list! Years ago i went to Bangkok Big Bang (now defunct) who played in pink!
I remember the club.now already dead forever.so sad.
We are with all the underdogs of this world 💪
Mr. O's was HAMMERED! Love it though, enjoy the vacation and warm weather Sam!
At the start I wondered if you were about to dive into 7-11 and get a toastie...and you did. 😁

hope you're enjoying thailand, sam!
Thailand looks mint. Stadium looks traditional, authentic and a bit of history. Like the food stalls too.

The none of this comment as soon as that seafood was uncovered 😂😂😂
As soon as I saw it, I knew it wouldn't agree with me! It was decent without though haha
One of the Port forwards played for Inverness Caley lol the French/Guinea guy
Also the sandwich you bought are a regular thing that a lot of Thai people consume
Amsterdam in your top 5 cities in the world? I'm Dutch and I wouldn't even put it in the top 5 in The Netherlands...
Tourists just go to Amsterdam and take a train to nearby countries
Looking forward to all of your Thai videos, will you get to Pattaya?
❤😊
Wasn’t busy because the thai league keep putting games at 6pm on weekdays. Much bigger crowd for later kick offs.
No chance for us who work here to make it on time usually. The ultras were protesting a few months ago.
I met you that day. I sat there that day and you talked to me and smiled at me. I hope we will meet again in Thailand and Pat.
stadium welcomes you.❤😅
Thanks, was good to meet everyone there. Such a friendly club! 🤝🏼
I’ll definitely be back again soon 🇹🇭
the cheese toastie is 2nd to the red bull chewing gum 😀
Bangkok United is my team, grabed a shirt last year when i was in the country
Try visiting kolkata for a Mohun Bagan home game
Is this a club owned by Madam Pang?
not officially anymore. She is now head of the FA Thailand. She still attends most games from a box just behind the stand the video was shot in. At the previous home game, she came into the food and drink area after the match as there was a post-match concert.
Another great footy adventure.
Hiya Sam, is this like San Marino winning a game?
It’s a bit harsh them singing; ‘you’re not fit to wear the shirt at the end when the players came over’.
Looked great and so cheap. 👍
Toasties in Thailand 👌 I like the egg sandwiches in the Lawson stores in Japan
Orang ini kalau ada komentar dari netizen Indo gak bakal dibales .. apakah dia tidak suka Sepakbola indonesia???

Are you visiting indonesia as well?
Come to jakarta international stadium on February 16, 2025 there will be a big match Persija Jakarta vs Persib Bandung.
Is that all! Is that all!….is that all you take away!
Roughly translated that was what was being sung!

I stand front of you 😊😊😊
£7!!!!!!!!! Wow!
That gets a coffee and a scotch pie at Carlisle
If possible, I would invite you to attend a football match in Cambodian premier league. I am from Visakha football club.
I'd seen a few travel vloggers raving about those 7-Eleven ham and cheese toasties, so when I was in Thailand in late 2023, I thought I'd better try one. Seriously major disappointment, there's nothing special about them at all!! 😆
