you should come and cover Dromore Amateurs, we are a Mid Ulster Intermediate side who are on the brink of moving into a brand new ground, would be great have you over!
Milton Keynes stadium tour and afc Wimbledon’s stadium tour. selhurst park as this been open for one hundred years now and where FA Cup was played before Wembley stadium in Crystal Palace national sports centre. Was a Good watch, very peaceful quiet walk.😅 A village of around 269 people.😮 Well done to Lori too. bonnyrigg rose fc are calling for a footy adventure’s video because of their recent stadium news.
I've always viewed you as a very balanced and moderate person, Sam, and I do really like having someone who gives a good and fair assessment of Scottish football. But I have to say, I really liked seeing how animated and hyped you were around 3:26. Shows how passionate you are about what you do!
I'm a massive sports fan, but not much of a football fan, I love Rugby & Ice Hockey etc, I love his videos because he really captures that passion of sport, and its a bit of a travel vlog to go with it. Great stuff.
Should definitely watch more Irish league games Sam, big one this weekend in Mid Ulster.. Portadown Vs Glenavon, big rivalry, always entertaining and not a match to be missed 🇦🇹
Another great video Sam. Really good that you help to highlight the league here in Northern Ireland. Nice to have met you just after you arrived in Loughgall.
Sam… The team in Blue and White was my u14s playing Loughgall in the Northern Ireland Cup! We are Derriaghy a Premier League club in amateur football more than welcome to a game at Seycon Park
Brilliant story , I’ve always said to people you must visit Northern Ireland as the people are incredibly warm and hospitable, we’re back there for 5 days over the new year and I may pop down and see the ground . Cheers
Crusaders the first team to go full time in the nifl premiership which he didn’t mention which it truly should have. Also an unbelievable achievement by Stephen Baxter, the longest serving manager at a single club at the time throughout Europe which even Sir Alex congratulated.
Interesting. Niall McGinn was interviewed last week in Scotland and said Glentoran, Linfield, Cliftonville and Larne were the full time teams. So Crusaders as well makes 5? Or was he mistaken?
Mad that there’s more people in my street than that village that has a top flight team. Fair play to them and looks like a nice place. Good vid as always Sam 👍
some older supporters of AFCBournemouth are still greatful to Ross County because when resident goal scoring legend Steve Fletcher injured his back the club was skint & from out of the mist they released Derek Holmes whose gritty & determined presence in the box saved Cherries on many occasions.
We chose the same path over the past week, I saw you in Athens for the Rangers game then was shocked when I saw you on Saturday in Loughgall, some contrast😮! good video again! I spoke to you you once going up the many stairs to the club deck in Ibrox, can't remember which game it was before, possibly a champions league game.
Another great video Sam. Bloody hell though!. When you were in Kelloholm I wish I had been able to meet up with you. I could have shown you where the Chinese takeaway (Loon Fung) is to get some food. It's just across the road from my house 😁
You should write up Mjällby and visit them too when the season in Sweden starts again. They come from a place with like 1500 people, finished 5th this season and been doing really well.
Love your channel. The cost is probably prohibitive, but would love it if you did a cross Canada tour and shone some light on the CPL. Darryl Fordyce who's likely known to some NIFL fans is known here from his time in Edmonton and Winnipeg
@shaneshankly4518 well I'm a glentoran fan and we always bring a large travelling support for our league so the place has always had a good crowd in it when I've been there. If you are going to try and have a dig at least try and spell correctly
@@RainXbox If you are being critical of somebody's spelling it is best to ensure that you are on the ball regarding the use of upper and lower case lettering.
The local politics notwithstanding (all that Orange Order nonsense makes my skin crawl), it's lovely to see you take an interest in such clubs and the stories surrounding them. With that spirit in mind, should your travels ever take you to America, I cordially invite you to have a look at Union Omaha of USL League One. Just yesterday, we completed a double - Players' Shield Champions (season points winners) and the USL1 Cup. Union (AKA "The Owls" or "los Búhos") are, in their brief history, one of the most successful clubs in US lower division football (3 Shields and 2 Cups in five years of operation). We also made a quarterfinal US Open Cup run (our equivalent of the FA Cup) in 2021. That year, we defeated two MLS clubs on the road, as well as three Championship sides, two away. To this point, there is no formal promotion and relegation in the American pyramid, which explains our continued presence in a league which we dominate. Clubs do go up and down, but it's generally financial solvency that dictates their places in the pyramid, rather than performance on the pitch alone. There are plans within the greater USL structure to implement a more traditional promotion/relegation format within its pyramid, independent of MLS. Our ownership group is taking a crawl-walk-run approach.... create a winning culture, cultivate passion and support, build strong finances. We are building a brand new stadium (to date, we've been playing home matches in a baseball park - don't get me started). Upon completion, we will petition for promotion to the Championship. I will turn 54 years old this week, and have been a passionate fan of the world game since I was a young boy, at which time I adopted Celtic as my club. I waited a long time for football (I use the same word for both ⚽ and 🏈) to take root here. At long last, it's happening. Before purists give me too much stick about our lack of promotion and relegation, I would simply say the following... The English FA has got similar rules governing club financial wherewithal and facilities as a condition for promotion, regardless of merit. Just recently, Luton Town was compelled to improve and expand their stadium in order to meet Premier League standards. Thus, their merit promotion was in fact conditional. If they had been unable to carry it off, the promotion (however briefly it lasted) would have been rescinded.
Love Irish football after many a year spent at Loughgall, Dungannon, Larne & Moyola Park on football manager. Defo reminds me of Halesowen Town or Worcester city's old ground
Just googled you after watching you on WSP, you are all grown up, look really good and seem to be thriving. You seem a lot more confident and lighter as well, hope it feels that way too! 🙌 Do you still keep up with the Wint family?
As somebody who visits down to 4th Tier in Austrian Football I would say that probably fits right in there! The pitch looks far better kept but the stadium would fit right in in general
Another stadium in Ireland that is quite similar to Loughal's ground is Semple stadium in Thurles. Semple stadium has a capacity of 45,000, while Thurles has a population of 8,000.
Very much like the grounds in the Southern League and Isthmian League in size or League of Wales grounds. We have a great ground at Shaftesbury FC 1888 at Step 4. Small town teams the best.
Not quite 200 people, but Hoffenheim (Baden Wurttemberg) has a population of 3000 people. TSG Hoffenheim, the local team, play in a 30,000 seat stadium. (Pretty much exactly 10x the population).

He could’ve left the Museum bit out but being the place is so small & he had sought a Cafe , i guess ignoring that part of the building might have been taken as an insult to the village. it must still be a difficult place to be for many. i spent decades working for English folk in a cosy part of England & it never ceased to amaze me how everyone always wore long faces & generally had a big beef about the silliest of things whilst some communities were going through hell.
8:50 that is actually the case for Hoffenheim, where 3000 people live, and their stadium seats around 30000. altho the stadium is located in Sinsheim, a bigger city that hoffenheim belongs to.
Go and check out some Estonian teams. Also very small clubs some of them. One is located in the island aswell, and the other in the Estonian-Russian border. Some of the teams are good and wellknown. For example ex Liverpool player Ragnar Klavan still was playing in Tallinna Kalev and Conference League this season. Not sure some of these teams are bigger than Loughgall.
@@AGxAG 7.30pm. Scotland U19 are playing France U19 at Forthbank at the same time, these are the final games in the group. This is how these U17 and U19 qualifiers always work, one of the four nations in the group hosts all the games over the course of 6 days.
They still look bigger than every top flight team here in Taiwan. You should do a two China's (Republic of China and The Peoples Republic of China) video like the Ireland one
You should go to the big derby linfield v glentoran in Friday night then you should go to portadown v glenavon on Saturday and that's the most underrated derby in ni😊
Actually! In germany Hoffenheim play at a 30k stadium and the village they're based in has only a 3k population, that is if you count based in not stadium location, where Sindsheim is much closer in population to the stadium.

Ross County is also amazing, not as small but incredible really to be so consistent in SPL. Move to Dingwall.

A Celtic fan, figures with your bigoted Orange Order comment.
I know it’s a different sport but you should check out some Gaelic football clubs in NI I think you would be very interested👍
Loughgall's stadium literally looks like my local Halesown Town's 8th tier stadium "The Grove".
Definitely similar to national league south stadiums for sure! Love it 👌🏼
Wingate and Finchley, Isthmian Premier and Haringey Borough Isthmian North. The seventh and eighth tiers. Great video.
