I use Tailgate Seal www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IPQWXZQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 doing very good job. No dust after I put it on.
So a number of people are posting about leaks. I'm wondering what happens when you drive through an automatic car wash. How much does is leak? If at all? And way do most wash their pickup with a leer cap? thx Russ
I don't use any propane for heat in the truck. I just used my hunting experience to coped with the cold in the winter. As a hunter I used those little heat pad for my feet and my body, I could sit up in the tree under sub zero temp for hours. While use it the same way my sleepjng bag retain those heat pretty good. I don't have to heat the whole truck bed with a propane heater, I only need to retain the warm inside my sleeping bag for a cozy sleeping, the little heat pad do just that.
Nice! I am building out a Ford F-150 6’6” bed. Is your water tank up by the cab or near the back. I am building a 24” x 48” drawer for under the bed which leaves about 30” square near the cab. That would be ideal for a water tank. I really like the way you did your fill and drain. Great job!
Nice work, thank you for sharing!! Oh man I bet that you would love the addition of the ez lift topper system with weekender package to add to your head room!
@@Baebon6259 No....It is very good only one little complaint. I think the contractor I have did not do a good job on finishing up. Now I have a very little crack at the very back (lower rear right) where the tailgate meet the topper. That is where the water drip off so no leaking inside.
The only true great use of space I have seen is in these old time teardrop trailers from the 50s. You had a kitchen on the outside and the inside was nothing but a big double bed. They were 1950s but they more fit the needs of modern times because with all the crime and crazies they have now you have a nice big cozy double bed to crawl into at night with solid doors to shut and lock so you don't get murdered in your sleep.
Thank you for no techno music and a great build.
Smart fabrication. This is a very good use of space 💯/💯!
Nice job! Thanks for not making it a 30 minute video
Excellent! I'll be using your ideas for my T100 this spring!
Great job! I loved the clean, simple lines. Well done.
Nice build!

Nice build, lots of good ideas. Thanks
Fantastic video!! Great editing friend :)
Amazing job i would love to do this on my 1996 T100 . great job sir and enjoy your creation on your tundra.
Wow. Nicely done.
Nice James!
Good job bro, I like it 👍🎣🐟🐿🤩
Cool build!
Hope you can tour us again to your truck with you explaining about the features especially the inside of your counter.
Good job James!
Really cool!
Sounds like a good project to begin a surfing Safari👣
Awesome job
Very nice!
Ute in Australia is smaller than in America. It will taking too much space for Australian ute if I build like this.
Awesome! I have the same truck. You have motivated me.
Daym that is so cool!!!🤙 Ima try if i can do the same with my tundra as well...smh👊🤙
Thank you for the video. Well done.
Hi- Nice work! How do you keep dust out of truck bed when driving down dusty gravel roads? Seems like the weak spot on truck-bed setups.

Fancy build, I am building mine with dumpster wood for free 😁
Free work fine but not always meet my expectation.

I have not see any leak sofar.
@@JamesBeeXiong thank you
How long is your truck bed? And is the bed designed where you can take it out when you need it to use it for a truck?
It is a 6.5 and no it is permanent installed to the bed.
What Heat source do you use for winter camping ? ....I use a small Colman propane heater I set up on a shelf .

The water tank is the front near the cab.

I am not a tall person so I am ok with the current set up.
What are you using for heat?
Only sleeping bag.
Nice work. Do you have a total cost?
I think about $500.00 the main cost are those electronic stuff such as battery, charger, control panel, water pump, and the inverter.
Happen to recall the measurement floor to top?
Does your truck have a 6ft or a 5 ft bed? Thanks. Love it, BTW!
6.5 ft
did you use a car battery for your power source?
No, I use an external battery.
what is the name of the truck cap? Leer?
No.. It is an ARE.
@@JamesBeeXiong any issues with water leaking in from the rain?

They make video cameras now.
Should’ve made an actual video
Be nice video maybe if there was some noise, like *TALKING*
