@@n54kv Yoel chose not to be aggressive because he was scared of Izzy's counter punching. He's the challenger. It's his job to take the title. Izzy is the champ. It's his job to DEFEND the title. It's more fun if both guys stand and trade, but if one person has more responsibility to be hyper aggressive it's always the challenger.

Israel vs Romero was arguably "boring" but so intense. Not what we expected, but edge of our seats the whole time. Co-main was amazing! Maybe best fight of the year so far. Thumbs up if you think so!!

from uncle Dana. It's all about money, protecting his stars and saying what's right. He didn't like Woodley as a champion as he wasn't easy to deal with, he was cringe and not selling PPVs. Check his post fight recap with Megan Olivi after Holm obliterated Rousey - he couldn't even hide his bias. Imagine Romero won - he's turning 43, doesn't speak English or have a big country behind him. Izzy's got the whole African continent and the Ausies/ Kiwis behind him.

In Adesanyas pre fight Mac life interview he said the co main event with the women would steal the show and that it would be fight of the night and in my opinion he was bang on. Izzy did what he had to do and got the W but it’s like he knew how both the co main and the main event would go and predicted the outcomes to a tee. Coincidence? Maybe, but I don’t believe that, I believe his knowledge of mixed martial arts is above most and that’s how he predicted these outcomes. Full respect to every fighter tonight and I wish them all the best.
A lot of people said that. Lmao. You should see how Joanna fights. You should also see Weili's last 20 fights. Joanna is known for her toughness, cardio, and output. Weili is a power puncher and well rounded fighter that can stand in front of Joanna and trade. I'm glad to see that Joanna didn't lose her chin and got her weight cut on point. That's a dumb thing to say because there are so many variables that can cause a fight to go in any direction. That's a major reason why people the sport is like nothing else. There are too many factors.

And eat a knee? That's a classic adesanya move man. Lean to a wall wait for a take down then knee their face. Yoel knew he can't do front take downs and that's why he didn't initiate on a tackle. If he got to izzy's side he would've made a take down. But izzy knows on the ground he has no chance. So izzy made sure that he is always facing romero when they get close and at the first oppurtunity turn around and retreat after distancing a few meters.
