This is hands down one of the most entertaining fights ive ever watched. They kept the same pace until the fight was over. Both very technical strikers. Throwing 3-4 punch combos ending them with kicks... Just all around great fight.
This is the best women's MMA fight of all time by a country mile and deserves meaningful consideration as one of the greatest fights of all time period. The pace and stamina not to mention the chins on display for all five rounds was just insane.

Actually this shows just how precise Rose’s striking was that she knocked *both* of these girls out with single shots. The timing and precision... WHAT A WAR this was...
Rose is on a completely different level. She's got a footwork of a properly trained boxer. Head & body movement, timing, feints, counters - all on the money. This, on the other hand, was not unlike a schoolyard brawl, only more aggressive. A lot of blocking punches with a face, wild swings and not much else.

Rose KO'd Zhang because she exploited an opening in her defences, thanks in part to fight IQ and Trevor Wittman's coaching. Despite her lanky frame Rose hits deceptively hard, much like Izzy in that regard.

Incredible fight, both women had crazy stamina and were both just driving in on each other. Loved seeing the skillful and brutal exchanges. No wonder Joanna ended up looking like Rocky Dennis at the end of the fight.
She’s the most underrated fighter in MMA. Folks keep sleeping on her skills, and she shuts them up each time. 🌹 will the the best ever if she can keep her head on straight.

Technically I think Joanna did win against Weili, i think the judges miss scored damage taken and also deducted points from Joanna 1 for the late punch after the round end and 2 for the headbut. I'm a huge fan of Joanna but even from my perspective it looked like she was fighting dirty and cheating her ass off, i have faith in her, but i also know what it means to her to be champion so it should come as no surprise she is willing to cheat to win if she's willing to die to win going as far as to keep fighting when her head is as swollen as it was here. Also, i had Joanna down for winning her fight rematch with Rose, the judges miss scored that as well.
Rose is clearly a much better defensive fighter than Joanna. I’d rather be Mayweather and not get hit, but strangely Rose also has such accuracy on her power strikes it’s as if she has more power than she would by being bigger and stronger...

If she can keep her mental game on-point, she will continue to be the best in her class.
I figured that if Rose were going to win it would be within the first two rounds as she has power and her cardio isn't exactly the best. It shocked me not that Rose KO'd Zhang, but how early it happened. UFC 261 was a crazy event, and a damn good one too.

I just watched Wonder Girl vs Jackie Buntan and was going crazy in my living room and then I remembered THIS fight and brought it up expecting to have misremembered it. I remembered it fine, this is one of the most spectacular fights I have ever seen bar none. Kind of willing to put it in the top 5. This is stunning. I remember watching it live and being underwhelmed by Adesanya and Romero but the whole house, fans or not, went wild for these two. We couldn't believe what we were seeing. All of us felt honored. This is everything professional fighting should be. These women are warriors.

This is the very 1st time I watch women boxing. I just got to this site by accident so I had no favorite nor had I ever even heard of neither one of these ladies. What a fight! Man, did I get lucky! This is one fight where I wish there were no losers. Both women fought their azz off! They're both bad azz mama-jamas in my book. SERIOUS RESPECT for both of them!!!
Honestly, such an unfair decision. Absolutely unfair. But the duel was outstanding! Even among male athletes it is so rare to have a challenge like this. Beautiful, brave and top class! Bravissimo!

There was only 1 round that all 3 judges agreed on and that was round 3 to JJ. Watching this fight back, I noticed that a ton of Weili's "sig strikes" didn't even really land like the commentators were reacting like lol. Id score this fight: *R1: Weili(10-9)* *R2: JJ(10-9)* - overall JJ won this, Weili had the probably the biggest strike of the round but overall JJ hit more cleanly and the "takedown" they gave Weili was meaningless imo *R3: JJ(10-9)* - I agree with all 3 judges, JJ wins this round as well. *R4: Tie(10-10)* - I think this was the most closely contested round with both just going non stop and landing thudding/cracking shots on each other it was WILD. Truly could go either way. IMO, it seemed like Weili won the first half of the round and JJ won the second half of it, both on equal margins(close). If I had to choose I'd probably give it to JJ since typically if a fighter wins 2.5 mins of a round and another 2.5 goes the other way in equal fashion, I tend to lean towards whoever ended the round winning(if that makes sense). *R5: Weili(10-9)* - Joanna has a heart of a champion for sure and it's insane to me that she could even walk and throw strikes at the same time by this point lol. She landed some great shots for sure, including that spinning back fist at the end but I think it was clear she was pretty close to done by the end of this (understandably). This fight is weird because even though it could've gone with way, it is very clear what fighter ended up doing the most damage, imo. JJ wasnt even recognizable at the end but yet personally I give the fight to JJ. Going round by round is weird because of this. Basically, going strictly off round by round scoring, *I would consider this fight a draw (48-48)*. If I HAD to choose one based off round by round scoring I would probably lean towards JJ because of the 3rd round and what I explained above.
