Same here! Most days I stay home unless my husband or older kids are home to go with. But then at times I get frustrated being home all day 😩 I will go back and forth in my head to determine if it’s “worth” going out alone. The mom anxiety is real 🥴

I totally get it because I’m super aware of my surroundings too. My dad was a special agent for the military/Government and the stuff he saw or investigated made him very honest with what can happen, and that the world can be a dangerous place. If I ever felt something wasn’t right or I was uncomfortable in a situation, to go with my gut instincts and leave because I’m probably right. Never left my drink or took a drink from someone (you have to beware of bartenders too in certain situations), and never drank too much so I was aware of my surroundings and could get myself home safely. Now going out alone especially in parking lots, I’ll glance back or make sure no one is at my back. I saw a technique that when you’re out with your baby and the door is open, use the cart as a “barrier” and have that at your back so it blocks anyone from coming behind you without moving the cart. You could even keep a foot on the bottom to keep it steady, if need be. You’re almost forming a triangle with the door and inside of the car then the cart at the “bottom” of the triangle. Might help some when Jeremy can’t be with you since you said you didn’t like that feeling of your back left open. Women aren’t helpless but we definitely have to be more aware and look out for each other too.
Nicole you, as a mother, are always the best of taking care of your child. Do you think someone else could be more protective driving somewhere? No! Take small steps. A 5min. drive, a ten minute one… you got this 🌻
Nothinggggg makes me happier than seeing the glass Christmas tree collection come out! I have one as well and it still gives me so much joy ever6 year.I alternate and combine colors certain years. Some years all etc etc. but no matter what, I look at them and enjoy their beauty every year while picking out what I am going to use for the year. And yours brings me joy too! Xo
The anxiety heightened is another symptom of insulin resistance! I’m an insulin resistant chick right here! I’m working on releasing trauma from my body and doing somatic exercises to connect my mind and body. Totally recommend
Watching you with your baby and busy life right now, it makes me realized that I am not the only one who feels life is been crazy for me after having my baby girl! It’s a beautiful experience, but man it is a hard job to raise a little human being! Life goes so fast that sometimes I feel 24hrs is not enough!😅
I love that you go shopping on a Saturday, I literally cannot. I refuse now and especially with my heightened anxiety and attention to detail in parking lots, I just don’t want to be apart of that craziness on the weekends! You’re super mom!
You are not alone! My oldest will be 14 and my youngest is almost 6 and I rarely go anywhere alone with them. My mom and dad raised us to be very aware of our surroundings and now days you just can’t be to sure. And it’s crazy I have always enjoyed watching you but as a mom now I relate to you even more! Especially with the health struggles, I’m almost positive I am either pre diabetic or also insulin resistant. I hope everything came out good for you! 🙏🏼

It’s crazy how different your body feels and how it changes after having a baby! I have a outfit meltdown at least once a month and I’m skinnier than I was before I had my now 7 month old. Somehow my body is just different and I don’t feel like I’m in the same skin! You’re definitely not alone 💛

Hey girl! I'm a type 1 diabetic and have been for 15 years. There can be a lot of symptoms especially if you have high blood sugars like being thirsty a lot and using the bathroom a lot. Just things to watch out for!
I was an angel tree recipient when I was a kid. My mom passed away when I was really young & my dad was deported. My gram barely made it raising us. I appreciate that you do this it really is such a blessing to receive those gifts! I now pick 5 angels every year myself.😊
I absolutely love you, especially as a mom ❤️ I'm a type 2 diabetic after having my 6th son. I have PCOS and am Insulin Resistant. My doctor put me on Mounjaro and it's helped me so much!!
@@sunlightwomen No necessarily. I was fine with my other 5 kiddos, no issues. My 6th we thought just gestational diabetes and it would go away. It didn't end up going away and I'm now on medication for it. However with diet and exercise it can still go away.
My mom taught me when I was young to always do a 360, try and park close or to the cart return area and to have your keys with you 😅 I’m not too sure if that anxiety will ever go away now that I’m a mom but I like to know that I’m not the only one. Kai is so adorable and very chunky and cute 🥰
I started taking pics of my Christmas decor set up so I wouldn’t be so overwhelmed each year trying to figure it out. It’s so easy and then you can mix it up once it’s all out if you wanna.

I actually seen a video where a mother said that she does this because women are far more attacked due to Constantly having your attention on your child. The new baby anxiety is REAL, I thought it was just a new mom thing, nope, popped out my second and it was back again. Felt like a crazy woman 😅😂 the new baby anxiety does get better though. I feel like a year and a half is the sweet spot 🤍 you’re amazing Nicole, I can’t say it enough!!

I have all the above. When you have one autoimmune disease you tend to have others. I’m happy your dr ordered full panels. Some drs tend to only check tsh which doesn’t give you all the answers. Do your research.

I have all the above. When you have one autoimmune disease you tend to have others. I’m happy your dr ordered full panels. Some drs tend to only check tsh which doesn’t give you all the answers. Do your research.
