Same. I left my 3.5 for the first time when I gave birth to my newborn. It was the hardest thing to do. I cried both nights

I am a type one diabetic, which is different than type two diabetes, but I can say that it isn’t just about cutting sugar like everyone thinks. Carbs are a huge factor, too! That doesn’t mean do a no-carb diet because your body NEEDS carbs, but just try for less than 150g carbs per day (as an example). Also, adding more fiber and protein will help your body drastically. Sending you all the love! Postpartum is hard on us mamas, but we’ve got this!

I did the same thing. I knew that I wasn't feeling well, I have a strong family history of diabetes, including both my parents and all of my siblings. I gained a lot of weight in a very short period of time. I went and had all the blood work done. I was lucky enough not to be diagnosed with diabetes. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease and hypothyroid disease. You have to be your own advocate when it comes to your health. I did choose to follow a diabetic diet and I have since lost almost 45lbs since February of 2022. I have 7lbs to go to reach my goal of 140lbs.
So inspiring! 💪🏼
Hashimoto’s is such a hard one to get a diagnosis for too, you really have to advocate for yourself. I hope things continue to go well for you, sounds like you’re kicking ass! ❤

I have Hashimoto’s too! I’m going to look into this diabetic diet because meds alone has not been helping me much
@@TheBeautySpectator yesss. The thyroid can mess with your sugar. I had thyroid cancer in my 20s(no thyroid now). My a1c is 6.3 currently and my TSH is off so I think it’s messing with each other 🥲

I just found out I’m prediabetic too. Just got a treadmill set up in my basement (I live in the Midwest so winter sucks) here we go! Daily walks no excuses. You’ve got this mama. 💗

Same & that was 8 Years ago! And now I’m a diabetic!
I had gestational diabetes with my youngest (now 3). I went to my Dr for my Depo refill and asked when I was supposed to get tested for diabetes, long story short we did the blood work and it came back as prediabetic and thyroid issues. Turns out I have Hashimotos but I had no or at least I didn't notice any of the pre diabetes symptoms, everything I was experiencing was because of my thyroid not functioning. Had I not asked about my gestational diabetes I would have never known about my thyroid.
I was watching Carli’s video the other day & wondered if y’all have met each other’s babies., that will be sweet if the boys can finally meet 💙 love these long vlogs-listening & watching while I work 😊

My son did the same thing with his stroller when he was close to walking! Refused to sit in it because he just wanted to walk like us. Try bringing it out again in a few months once he has walking down and he’ll probably love it again. 💙💙💙

I have PCOS and am insulin resistant and started taking metformin. I also had to change my diet and exercise but I’m glad I found out these things cause since I made these changes I feel much better

I had to advocate for myself i told them to check my A1C because i wasn’t feeling well and they never checked it. So when they finally did i was told i was pre diabetic and they put me on Metformin helps with weight and my blood sugar. I’m glad you found it now you know what to do to feel better and lose weight. ❤

@@rebeccablume9359 a little because i notice that it gives me the runs. I just started been on it for 2 wks now. But stating next week I’m going to go on diabetic food plan. Where you don’t eat any processed foods or sugar. My coworker has been on it for 6 years. She says it has helped her a lot. It initially helped her lose weight and now it has helped her maintain her weight. Good luck. How do you feel ? Have u noticed any changes since starting?

When I had my baby, my hubby and I decided to start working out and eating healthy. He was doing it more for me because I was insecure, and he wanted to help me and be supportive. We did the same exact exercises and ate the same food! He loses 50 lbs, and I lose 10 lbs. Men 🤣

So glad you took the initiative to get your blood work done, we know how our bodies feel and look so I am so happy you stood up and proved your suspicions. I heard older studies have resurfaced in the medical field and may have proven that fiber can help with blood sugar levels. I hope these studies remain true because what a cheap way to have to try and incorporate something new into our diets.

I’m pre diabetic too… one thing I found out too is that I’m insulin resistant. I’m that person who skips meals all the time and I’m learning not to skip meals anymore.

My son is a year and a half. I have left him overnight 3 times and all 3 times were for wedding we went to. When I go to work he stays at daycare, which is my husband's best friends mom, so we see her constantly and know the entire family. And he stays with my husband's grandparents two days a week. We take him shopping with us and everywhere we go and everything we do. I hate leaving him but truly when we are away, my husband and I talk about him some but it's nice to just be with adults and have fun. That doesn't mean I won't leave places and go get him early 😂😂 but it truly does feel good once you're out and gives you a sigh of relief.
aaahhh...kept it for a Friday evening - now it's the best time of the week to watch 🥰

Don’t worry you will get your blood sugars down. Pregnancy will get you out of wack sometimes but you’ll get it straightened out with your diet and exercise. It will come down. You guys should return or resell that wagon and get the 2 seat Wonderfold wagon. He could totally stand in it comfortably. It’s basically a pack and play on wheels but since you guys and Kai are tall he’ll outgrow that wagon so fast and the Wonderfold would last until 4-5 years old.
Highly recommend! Definitely a heavy duty wagon but will have for 5+ years!!
