He’s the best coach on TH-cam. Hands down. Watch his video how it goes 10 degree 20 etc. the swing motion. I’ve been playing only 9 months now and he has helped me so much. Play with buddies who been playing 15-20 years and asked how I picked up so quickly and I always say this man. I study this man.

I loved your video about turning the left foot slightly outward for better turn, and flexibility.

I really like these abbreviated lessons I guess because my brain is so limited ha ha. Seriously I find them most helpful because it doesn’t matter what the lesson is about there’s always something to look at. Just like this addition. I got to look at the club face at the top that I had be wondering about. It always feels good when there’s verification to something you’ve be rolling around in your head. Congrats on another addition to the channel. I appreciate it very much.

How do I transfer a great warmup to the course, it seems to disappear on the first tee too often.

We have some lessons on this and a lot in our online club... but a couple of things :
      1) warm up with intent and not just ball after ball. Treat it as a rehearsal too. Pick specific targets, change clubs and take time. 20 patient shots are better than 100 rushed.
      2) you must do this on every shot. See the video from a few weeks ago.
      3) don’t try to too much on course. Half swings can help.
      4) practice touch, sloping lies etc

      @@TheArtofSimpleGolf I do 1 and 2 every shot, not so much 3 and 4

      I'm a 5 hdcp player.
I started playing better when I learned to be more focus on the swing and not the ball. I think this video is saying the same.
"Swing at the target, not at the ball" was a great tip that I got.

Helps me lately if at the top of my backswing I allow the shaft to flatten butt end of grip pointing toward the ball. That seems to delay my down swing for a second allowing me to keep from rushing coming over the top. It really helps also if I take strong top hand and a weak bottom hand grip. It’s a work in progress.

I get what you trying to say, but I have a big tendency to pull down or at the impact position pull the club across. I’m lead arm dominant

Try the feeling of getting the core through to the target . Have a series in our online Club on that but one is coming for TH-cam

Is that the optishot two? Is it pretty accurate?

    • @TheArtofSimpleGolf
      @TheArtofSimpleGolf  ปีที่แล้ว

It was. And for the money, it’s really good. Is it a trackman?… no. But for decent feedback and indoor golf it’s pretty good. Next step us could be a Skytrak for example

What's fix for the club steepening? If I don't pull down the hands are too far away from my body on impact

@@TheArtofSimpleGolf you dropping it so that it shallows? But that would mean that my forearms have to rotate and open the face right?

Doesn’t your right elbow tucked in your rib cage as you go down to the ball going to help the over the top attempt?
You attaché the elbow to the rib cage and rotate and the club flows down and to the ball and through as you rotate Thru and to the left.
    I’m lost as usual…
