I love how this discussion is in English. Its so good for me as a non-Indian language speaker. So many texts in Sanskrit; Hindu; Tamil. Some English writings are good, some writings are outdated, some are dry in academese, some are watered down, some are biased towards a sampradaya. But I still keep studying. My interest in knowledge is my passion.

I was the type of guy who used to doubt and mock these scriptures and Mahabharata history but after watching these podcasts and learning about our religion and culture throughout the time I have realised how deep and intelligent our scriptures and culture was . I was just living in ignorance and used to think that all of this is Bullshit but now I realise that what a source of immense knowledge and miracles I was missing and As Dr. Vineet said that evil is just absense of God , so same happened to me that I was negative type of person who used to procastinate , evil thoughts throughout the day come in my mind . But after watching these podcasts and listening devotional songs and praying to God is making me a little positive person with hope . Overall it has positive impact on life 😁
He must meditate more ! He is always agitated! It's good to be enthusiastic but I think meditating more will give not only him but us also a even better Ranveer !

I always feel that our the scriptures should a part of school syllabus. It may be an optional subject but it must be there so that by the time the kids grow up they can decide whether they want to deep and learn more about ancient Bharata or not. I like the last part of the conversation more. We all should awaken the Kalki that is there in our hearts. Why should we wait for some incarnation when we all have the "ansha" of God in us. When I learned, as a teenager that the Vedas actually mentioned the Earth being round (golok), I was fascinated. I am still areligious but have a tremendous respect for our ancient knowledge. I think with Amish Tripathi's "Meluha' a lot of youngsters started taking interest in past. The past that History books do not talk about. Yes it is true, our generation and younger ones are more interested in knowing about our ancient past - not because of religiousness but out of pride and curiosity. Sadly it is seen as a lurch toward the Right, it isn't. ,
I was reading one of the Puranas - I don't remember which (maybe it was Skanda Purana) - and I found a reference in a particular verse which said the red planet (Mars) has water bodies (rivers) in it. At that time when I read this verse I thought how is this possible, this seems like wild speculation written during ancient times. Mars is a dry planet. I was skeptical. But few weeks later I read on online news (CNN website) where some scientists had confirmed (probably through the Mars rover exploration) that they found evidence of a dried river bed on Mars confirming that some river had existed long ago and probably dried up over time. That blew my mind. Similarly in Mahabharata and Vedas they speak of an ancient Saraswati river, and few years back, Nature Journal (science journal) ran a geographical study based on soil sediment examination to confirm the existence of a dried river flowing in the same path as described in our ancient texts. It tells you how old these scriptures really are. I do wish we could do more scholarly studies on these texts without political or ideological biases. I also read that Varahamihira (ancient Indian scientist) had given some technique to find ground water and that technique was still used by some people to know exactly where to dig for wells.

So enlightening session by Dr. Vineet. He said most of the migration from Africa is centered around central India. I am from exact center of India which is Chhattisgarh and coincidently always found my tribe has lots of similarity among tribal from Africa, the way we worship nature and celebrates the season by doing rituals to mother nature. One thing I used to hear from my ancestor that there used to live huge lizard in olden times so definitely they used to refer Dinosaur and hence the oldest habitant part of Dr. Vineet seems to be matching what i heard.

Not practical Kalki is not born yet, and the concept of kalki inside everyone is myth and good only for story. Reason: as per old text, there are total 10 avatar, out of which only kalki is yet to born but all previous avatar was never mentality created inside everyone us, it was always someone born
Every megalomaniac like Hitler or Laden will say they are Kalki and justify their killings. So it's a very dangerous concept. No one person should be given such powers or there will be justification for all injustice done on earth.

I was struck by the argument made by some scholars ( as mentioned by the speaker) that the Buddha referred to in Hindu scriptures is not the Buddha we celebrate today because the scriptures say he was born in Gaya but the Buddha was born in Kapilavastu. Actually, the scriptures are correct. Gautama was born in Kapilavastu but he only became the Buddha in Gaya. Thus, Gautama became or was born as the Buddha in Gaya. Before Gaya there was no Buddha, only Gautama.
As a Jain (Hindu), I can say why Jainism focuses more on Moksha. You can never erase your karma in same birth if you go through entire 4 stages Dr. Vineet mentioned. In Indian tradition, we believe that you keep taking birth until u achieve moksha so what stages Dr. Vineet is saying are being lived across multiple lives already. So Jains, do focus more on Moksha as they understand this. We believe tht being Jain monk can only happen when ur prarabdha is ready and next stage is Moksha. Jain tirthankars have been Kshatriya. there is no difference between Jain and Hindu except we r more focusing on other than Moksha in kaliyuga and Jainism has lost its dominance in country. Mughals did destory majority of it. All the deva's we have from so called Hinduism are there in Jain scriptures too, in Jain temples too. Even Jains have Gautam Buddha as follower of Jain principles. lot of things have been distorted over a period of time thanks to yuga we r living in. Thanks Ranveer for bringing Dr. Vineet.

As a Sri Lankan, I can say heavy bad luck is going around. It feels like some kind of cycle is about to end soon and we will have to start all over again. Also, People are very non-religious or Adharmic. Not only rulers and the general public but also the popular Buddhist monks. People found out that most monks watch tv shows, use brand new iphones, use social media, have affairs, eat delicious food, etc. This can be ok to other religions, but Buddhist monks vowed to live like beggers with minimal needs just to survive their lives. Sri Lanka being mostly a Buddhist country, as soon as our spirituality was destroyed the entire country was destroyed. This is definitely the Kaliyug. Only wealthy people are praised by society regardless of their bad behaviors.

I was the type of guy who used to doubt and mock these scriptures and Mahabharata history but after watching these podcasts and learning about our religion and culture throughout the time I have realised how deep and intelligent our scriptures and culture was . I was just living in ignorance and used to think that all of this is Bullshit but now I realise that what a source of immense knowledge and miracles I was missing and As Dr. Vineet said that evil is just absense of God , so same happened to me that I was negative type of person who used to procastinate , evil thoughts throughout the day come in my mind . But after watching these podcasts and listening devotional songs and praying to God is making me a little positive person with hope . Overall it has positive impact on life 😁

Naturopathy and yoga have all been an integral part of the Hinduism. it was simply just a harmonious way of life - harmony with self and nature.. thats about the real essence of these terms...

I always feel that our the scriptures should a part of school syllabus. It may be an optional subject but it must be there so that by the time the kids grow up they can decide whether they want to deep and learn more about ancient Bharata or not.
I like the last part of the conversation more. We all should awaken the Kalki that is there in our hearts. Why should we wait for some incarnation when we all have the "ansha" of God in us.

When I learned, as a teenager that the Vedas actually mentioned the Earth being round (golok), I was fascinated. I am still areligious but have a tremendous respect for our ancient knowledge. I think with Amish Tripathi's "Meluha' a lot of youngsters started taking interest in past. The past that History books do not talk about. Yes it is true, our generation and younger ones are more interested in knowing about our ancient past - not because of religiousness but out of pride and curiosity. Sadly it is seen as a lurch toward the Right, it isn't. ,
There is no religion in India. If you don't follow rituals and ceremonies it's fine. Meditation and yoga are greatest tool found by our forefathers

You are right. I think Amish's Immortals of Meluha sort of made our ancient stories "cool" again for the young generation.
I was reading one of the Puranas - I don't remember which (maybe it was Skanda Purana) - and I found a reference in a particular verse which said the red planet (Mars) has water bodies (rivers) in it. At that time when I read this verse I thought how is this possible, this seems like wild speculation written during ancient times. Mars is a dry planet. I was skeptical. But few weeks later I read on online news (CNN website) where some scientists had confirmed (probably through the Mars rover exploration) that they found evidence of a dried river bed on Mars confirming that some river had existed long ago and probably dried up over time. That blew my mind.
Similarly in Mahabharata and Vedas they speak of an ancient Saraswati river, and few years back, Nature Journal (science journal) ran a geographical study based on soil sediment examination to confirm the existence of a dried river flowing in the same path as described in our ancient texts. It tells you how old these scriptures really are. I do wish we could do more scholarly studies on these texts without political or ideological biases. I also read that Varahamihira (ancient Indian scientist) had given some technique to find ground water and that technique was still used by some people to know exactly where to dig for wells.

I am watching this episode for the third time.... Dr. Vineet is extremely knowledgeable and so calming. It is a joy listening to him.
So enlightening session by Dr. Vineet. He said most of the migration from Africa is centered around central India. I am from exact center of India which is Chhattisgarh and coincidently always found my tribe has lots of similarity among tribal from Africa, the way we worship nature and celebrates the season by doing rituals to mother nature. One thing I used to hear from my ancestor that there used to live huge lizard in olden times so definitely they used to refer Dinosaur and hence the oldest habitant part of Dr. Vineet seems to be matching what i heard.

I was struck by the argument made by some scholars ( as mentioned by the speaker) that the Buddha referred to in Hindu scriptures is not the Buddha we celebrate today because the scriptures say he was born in Gaya but the Buddha was born in Kapilavastu. Actually, the scriptures are correct. Gautama was born in Kapilavastu but he only became the Buddha in Gaya. Thus, Gautama became or was born as the Buddha in Gaya. Before Gaya there was no Buddha, only Gautama.
As a Jain (Hindu), I can say why Jainism focuses more on Moksha. You can never erase your karma in same birth if you go through entire 4 stages Dr. Vineet mentioned. In Indian tradition, we believe that you keep taking birth until u achieve moksha so what stages Dr. Vineet is saying are being lived across multiple lives already. So Jains, do focus more on Moksha as they understand this. We believe tht being Jain monk can only happen when ur prarabdha is ready and next stage is Moksha. Jain tirthankars have been Kshatriya. there is no difference between Jain and Hindu except we r more focusing on other than Moksha in kaliyuga and Jainism has lost its dominance in country. Mughals did destory majority of it. All the deva's we have from so called Hinduism are there in Jain scriptures too, in Jain temples too. Even Jains have Gautam Buddha as follower of Jain principles. lot of things have been distorted over a period of time thanks to yuga we r living in. Thanks Ranveer for bringing Dr. Vineet.

As a Sri Lankan, I can say heavy bad luck is going around. It feels like some kind of cycle is about to end soon and we will have to start all over again. Also, People are very non-religious or Adharmic. Not only rulers and the general public but also the popular Buddhist monks. People found out that most monks watch tv shows, use brand new iphones, use social media, have affairs, eat delicious food, etc. This can be ok to other religions, but Buddhist monks vowed to live like beggers with minimal needs just to survive their lives. Sri Lanka being mostly a Buddhist country, as soon as our spirituality was destroyed the entire country was destroyed. This is definitely the Kaliyug. Only wealthy people are praised by society regardless of their bad behaviors.
This can be also seen in India. Here , people are more inclining towards western culture neglecting our hindu culture and values entirely.
Highly awaited podcast! Dr. Vineet has a very magnetic personality. His knowledge is superb, he doesn't go round with his explanations and his smile is contagious! He also seems to be extremely versed in ancient history due to his research and study of Vedas and Puranas.
Please do more podcasts with him! Can we have both Abhijit Chavda and Vineet together ?

I never thought that eventually it will become a ritual for me to listen to you first thing in the morning about various topics be it Hinduism or occult.
