Bobby is my man one of the best coach's in the country.
I wouldn’t be mad about Bobby as HC and definitely would like him as the interim coach if Sam has to leave town. It would likely stop the offense from leaving town. I just want to win some games though idc. I don’t care if we have Dick Cheney as HC I just want to watch the hogs win

Probably, but that would be a mistake. Bobby is a better offensive coordinator and qb coach than he will ever be as a HC. Sam is exactly who we need at the helm. Stepping up to coach the line is a good example of that.
If anyone paid attention during the last coaching search, we aren’t doing better than Petrino and more likely much worse.
I said this as soon as we hired him. This give us a great chance to fire pitman during season. Hire Bobby as interim head coach. And keep him as head coach.
This allowed us to hire Bobby and see how he does as his second tenure.
I'm sorry but Bobby Patrino has never been good as a head coach. He doesn't recruit defense at all. He has toxic locker rooms. He leaves every program in worse condition after 4 or 5 years. It would've been the same here if he had stayed any longer than he did. Look up any program he goes to. We are better off with Sam Pittman as head coach and Bobby as OC. Patrino can really flourish outside of a head coaching role. The staff we have is better set up to win games with TWill as DC and BP at OC. I'm sorry but BP is not a good head coach and will put the program back in the gutter after several years if he gets moved to head coach. You think defense was bad before just go back to the last time BP was head coach. The best we can hope for is that it works very well under the current setup. Otherwise expect absolute terrible defenses, toxic locker rooms and BP being fired after 4 or 5 years as HC. There are plenty of data and articles out there that back up what I'm saying. Just look at his second stint at Louisville. BP was not brought in to be Sam Pittman's replacement. He was brought in because with good coordinators Pittman can get his players to overachieve for the talent we get. And that's the only way you can win in Arkansas. Because we don't get the recruits other SEC schools get. That's a fact. Nothing good would come from BP being head coach again.

He wouldn't leave Notre Dame for Arkansas anyway so moot point
