Who knew you could style a simple cardigan in all those different ways....bravo, Alyssa! The ones I'll try are twisted, backward, and off the shoulder. I loved the ballerina-inspired one as well. Thanks so much...I love these one item styled multiple ways videos. Be well!
You are brilliant! Every time out your creativity surprises and inspires me. And I applaud your sustainability commitment. I always find many looks that even an old gal like me can pull off. Thank you!
You really amaze me Alyssa 🤩 Your creativity inspires me to love what i have and make the most out of it instead of buying new stuff to be fashionable 😄
Thank you so much! I have a playlist with this series! th-cam.com/play/PLHqteBRF3WERnoeMbIx7im5e9XPZTZ7Ng.html There are other videos in there but all of this series are included :)
You are one creative lady! I probably would have been thrilled to come up with the classic look and left it at that. Great ideas. Doesn't hurt that you look wonderful in everything!
Always a winner these videos.... style something 100 ways ❤️. Love your wardrobe and your suggestions. As a senior I try to stay current and you make that effortless for me. Thanks
Great suggestion! Did you see the preppy to edgy video? It's a similar idea but I like the classic converted to multiple styles ... could be another take on it!
I love this! I started wearing my mom’s college cashmere sweaters in high school and still have 2 of them that I’ve just not been able to part with. Proof positive that quality can last years; my mom graduated in 1950! I’ll be wearing them this fall with some of your phenomenal styling hacks! Thanks, Alyssa.
You did an amazing job. I love your creative and positive spirit. 😃. I would say my favs are: 1) backwards (very sexy) 2) minimal (a classic) 3) YSL inspired 3) gossip girl (forever young vibes) 4) French Chic (so cool the sunglasses really pulled the look together) 5) Belted and the Belted 2.0 (just timeless and classy) & 6) The fancy ballerina inspired. (I absolutely loved this 1950”s super girly ensemble! Definitely a head turner on a date or special occasion 🥰) You’re awesome! Keep that inner light glowing. 😊🌻🌻🌻
Who knew? Somehow thought cardigans were boring but you’ve just given me so much inspiration! Loved the off the shoulder and backwards hacks!! The ballerina look was my fave!
I love this series! It has helped me think outside the box and the use my existing pieces more creatively, instead of shopping more. The ballerina one was my favorite because it was the most creative. It looked so good one you! However, I would actually wear the French chic or the more classic styles. I love the belted dresses, as well.
yay! That is exactly what i'm after with this channel and so glad you're finding joy in what you have:) Glad you found some you liked and thank you for watching! xx
I've got a few basics already in the series - shirt dress, button down and shirt and tee ... will keep adding to the list, thank you for the suggestion!
Besides your obvious creativity for the outfits, Alyssa, I'm really enjoy your creativity for the outfit names/titles! I'm like, ooo, what's she gonna call this one?? 😄...my fav this time around was the belted jumpsuit combo 😍...magnifique!
All these looks were so creative and beautiful! I'd love to see a simple white summer dress styled a bunch of versitile ways. That would be so helpful :)
I love this series the most and it was also the first style video that made me fall in love with you! (Styling wise and personality lol) These videos actually always inspire me to shop my closet!
Very fashion styled outfits. Gorgeous earrings and necklace. Your hair up in a bun looks amazing. Just love the belted 2.0 look, the French chic look, minimal look, and edgy look styles. Your perspective is refreshing!
Such fun and smart geeze just knotting it brilliant . Thanks. Still haven't purchased anything garmet wise to wear this year! Wish I had kept a few of my cardigans!
Wow...you outdid yourself! Great ideas for such a simple piece. I don't even own one. Now I am inspired!! And other colors would be fun to work with too! Thank you!
ah there is a bit of that involved and I think a big part of it is also about seeing abundance and fun in what you already have vs. limiting yourself if that makes sense ... you've just inpsired me for a blog post! Thank you! And thank you for watching! xx
I enjoy this series so much. There are so many other beautiful TH-cam creators doing "one piece X ways," but your chameleon creativity really sets you apart. I often return to your shirt dress video to help me think outside of the box, and I appreciate the inspiration to just try something and own it. Loved all the looks here, but YSLSS2020 is my winner. Badass Chic.
aw wow thank you so much for those words of encouragement they really mean a lot. I also loved the YSL look and will definitely be wearing it! Thank you for watching xx
So very European inspired with a bit of 1950s rockabillly and GG of course! Love the creative Girl Boss as well!!! Would you be intetested in doing a shoe video on how shoes can change outfits!? Xoxo Joanne
yesss! Glad you appreciated the GG reference Joanne! THat's such an excellent suggestion I feel like I use that all the time but have not dedicated a full video to it - thank you! And have a great week xx
This was great! I really loved the twisted (and other knotted one) and the belted looks. They’re so simple and wearable, I can’t believe I haven’t tried them before! Thanks for the inspo. 🙏😁
I just have to say, I love the boldness you show with your outfits, even if its as simple as a pair of red pumps. It really is inspiring, even if I can't pull off some of the styling options you show. It makes shopping my closet more fun and satisfying and honestly makes me realize how many more combinations of clothing I really do have instead of wearing something the same way all the time.
Hi Sheila, thank you so much for the kind comment it really means a lot. And I'm so glad it helps you find new combinations with what you already have - that's exactly what i'm going for with this channel! Thank you for watching! xx
I loved Ladylike and Fancy Ballerina ❤️ I’ve never thought to style cardigans in this way. I always leave them open over a dress, and have been so bored with them. Thank you.
This was amazing! Never knew there could be so many options and how different the vibe can be depending on what you pair with the cardigan! I would love to see you style a denim shirt.
I really like the belted and belted 2.0, the winter at work style and my favourite was the ballerina one - which also looked really good on you. Thank you for the inspiration :)
Thank you Alyssa! Another fun and helpful video. I will wear my cardigans more often. As I live in Southern California, I can only wear them in the winter. Most months, the mornings and evenings are cooler and by mid day, it is too warm to wear long sleeves. Still I could wear them more often. Bisous de LA!
Thank you Kerstin! That was one of my first in this series! It's old but hopefully you still find it helpful : th-cam.com/video/xvgUKmsMvfY/w-d-xo.html :)
You're really good at naming your outfits! Also I appreciate how much effort comes into changing into so many different outfits. It's a workout! I would be all red and sweaty by the 5th outfit haha! :) Edit to add: The tulle skirt!!! I was waiting for it! :))))
I'm from Italy and I always see and appreciate your videos! This one is probably the one I love the most! I 'll steel one or more of your outfit !!! Thankyou!!!😘
Thank you so much for this video. I have three cashmere cardigans that I seldom wear, because I kept thinking they were too stuffy and old-fashioned. Now I have some new ideas for how to wear them (two of my favorites...the backwards look and the white shirt cuffed over the cardigan sleeves!).
Loved this video! I’ve always been a huge fan of cardigans, and as a knitter, I can quite literally create a sweater to my exact specs and desired fit. I recently finished a Vogue Knitting slouchy brioche stitch V-neck cardigan from cotton and tussah silk yarns held together (both from unraveled thrift store sweaters), and I absolutely love it! A black scoop-neck, more fitted cardigan like yours has been on my “want to knit” list for some time now, and your fantastic ideas here have added to my desire to knit one sooner rather than later 😀. I honestly can’t say I have a favorite look of all those you rocked in the video, but I’m really amazed by how much a small neck scarf elevates the outfits you styled it with; talk about the sum being greater than the parts! Love these videos - please keep them coming ❤️. Stay safe and be well
YOu are so talented Sonya! I really admire people who can see something and know they can create it if they choose. Very slow fashion! Thank you for watching!
I'm late to the party here, but I just had a blast styling from my own closet with you. It was surprising how many looks I could create using what I have. You really put a bright spot in my day. Thank you!
FUN! FUN! FUN! I have always considered a cardigan one of those pieces meant ONLY for my Mom & Grams..... BUT you made it look AWESOME! Thanks for the inspiration
I just discovered you through Erin Elizabeth's recent podcast episode and I'm really enjoying your content so far! All of the outfits are well styled and look great on you 😊
Alyssa, I love your style and your vlogs but I have to say I think this one is my favorite of all time. Putting a form-fitting black cardi on my list! I live in Florida so won't be wearing it any time soon but I love the look. Can you do one for summer with a white button-down (casual and light-weight) as well please?
Thank you so much for the kind words I'm so glad you liked this one :) I did a button down shirt although it's a more fitted and stiff version .. perhaps i'll have to update with an oversized but hopefully this helps in the meantime: th-cam.com/video/s6_B0iNBXBc/w-d-xo.html It's old so please excuse the production quality!
Wow.......I have sweater sets that I have collected over the years......I try not to wear them together so they don’t look dated...but they are definitely a classic.....great video......happy a Sunday to you
