As you know, I will never be a minimalist, as I enjoy playing with a full deck, having a plethora of options, however, after following you from near the beginning of your channel, I have bought less, bought items I will love and wear for a long time, enjoyed styling items in many different ways. Yesterday I went to a wedding two hours away to drive my dear friend who had eye surgery and couldn’t drive herself. I wore a plain midi navy dress as she was wearing a dress with a blue and green flower pattern . I always have to inject a little edge in my outfits. I wore a horn ear jacket in one ear and a spiked champagne leather cuff that matched my gold wedge heel ankle laced sandals. Love your channel! Love your personality and thoughtful content Alyssa! That DVF dress is a "forever-keeper!" It helps that it is black and white...so easy to style with other colors and accessories. My favorite was the ballerina look, but they were all just wonderful!

Wow! Many nice looks and the dress as a cardigan was like a magic trick-- haha, I wasn't expecting it and it came out really nice and stylish. You have such good fashion sense to use the long boots in that look. I think the boots are a key piece that tie the look together because the boots send a signal as an outdoor look for fall/winter so it signals for us to interpret the dress as a true cardigan or jacket (without the boots anchoring this look, it would have looked more like just a dress over jeans,)--you are so good at this! I am new and will watch more of your videos!

Espionage Chic! I love the look and the humor. Also sleek & chic! You are amazing in that sexy look, and how clever to emphasize the beautiful fit of the top of the dress. And thank you, thank you, for the variations on how to handle the ties of a wrap dress. I just have one default way of tying such garments, usually tying a half bow and letting the tie hang down on the side of the dress at the place where the cross over top meets the skirt opening, to play up the inherent asymmetry of the wrap. But I love the way you tied the bow over the belt in the back. Great idea! And how you changed the garment into a cardigan with that creative use of the holes and the ties. I have to watch that part a few more times to really get how you did that, and I have already watched the whole video twice! I love your work. No one else on TH-cam is as creative as you are.

Great ideas! When I put on weight after pregnancy I used to wear my wrap dress over a tank top and wide flared trousers - it was a great look 💗
