Woosung is the vocalist of the band The Rose and I couldn't recommend them more! My favorite songs from their newest albums are Time and Cure if you want to check them out :)
That album is so good those are also some of my favorites on the album. I think Childhood and Definitely of ugly are my top favorites but it changes all the time lol
Of course, the other artist that "Snooze" made me look into was Woosung. His haunting vocals in this song just wouldn't leave my mind. I found myself wanting to just listen to his voice all day long. That's how I found out that he was the leader of a band called The Rose and that he had also released some solo material. My fave songs off The Rose's latest album "Dual" include "Alive", "You're Beautiful", "Angel" and "Lifeline". I've been enjoying his voice ever since.
This song is really special to me because I'm Japanese and I have been listening to Professor Ryuichi Sakamoto's music for more than 40 years. I'm glad Yoongi met him in person last September in Japan. Yoongi knew Professor Sakamoto had terminal cancer before Yoongi met him. June 2022 professor Sakamoto posted that article titled " How many more times Will I see the Full moon " he said “Since I have made it this far in life, I hope to be able to make music until my last moment, like Bach and Debussy whom I adore.” Many Japanese and Koreans saw this article and included Yoongi. Thank you for Yoongi made beautiful song. I believe Professor Sakamoto is smiling now.
"Snooze" is my most fave track in the "D-Day" album. Apart from the encouraging message in the song, it also led me to look deeper into the other 2 artists who contributed to it. Ryuichi Sakamoto was an actor, pianist and Oscar-winning composer of the movie soundtrack to "The Last Emperor" starring John Lone, a movie which he also acted in. He also composed all the movie music for "Little Buddha" starring Keanu Reeves. Another movie tune he is well-known for was called "Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence", which came from a movie he acted in alongside David Bowie. There was a time when I was very into movie soundtrack music, and I had listened to "The Last Emperor" and "Little Buddha" OSTs a lot, but for some reason, it hadn't dawned on me that it was Ryuichi Sakamoto who was behind it, until after Suga had worked with him on "Snooze".
d-day album is such a masterpiece and it breaks my heart that yoongi thought/didnt expect much for it to chart. he put it out there hoping that fans and not fans alike get inspired one way or another. but these kinds of messages are what heal the world. my love for him is overflowing. i wish him all the best in the world. thank you for reacting to the whole album, bryan. looking forward to your upcoming uploads.

Yeassse!! My fav song of this fantastic album along with D Day song. Woosung is AMAZING! Specially solo (I suggest you to react to his albums Moth and Genre) and as The Rose indy rock band's vocalist he is great too. Woosung known as well as Sammy and Suga are friends for many years. He was born and raised in California. Mr Sakamoto was the composer/pianist. Besides being a musician, he was an actor too (I suggest the incredible and emotional movie where he acts with David Bowie - Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence as captain Yonoi and the BEAUTIFUL soundtrack ever he composed for this movie). He won the Oscar for The Last Emperor soundtrack too. 😊 Ps. Woosung and The Rose are loved by many Armys. We know quality when it's there 😊💜
When I saw the emotion in this particular performance I couldn't help to think of how he produced Eight by IU ft Suga which was about Sulli and how this was just days after Moonbin's funeral. You've done so well Yoongi. RIP Moonbin and Mr Sakamoto
I saw Woo- Sung's interview in LA. He said Suga has been his friend for 4 - 5 years and we are the same age. Woo-Sung is Korean American. He is a great singer songwriter.
Such a comfort song I think a lot of people can relate to. Yoongi is so genuine; him wanting to cheer on his peers and junior idols!! He truly cares for their wellbeing! Such a role model and I really admire him for that!
I love how he wrote this song specifically for the junior artists at Hybe but it can still speak to nearly everyone who listens to it. If Yoongi hasn't flat out stated that it was for junior artists like TXT and New Jeans, then you might not even realize who the encouragement and support are meant for. He's such a thoughtful and caring person.
Suga will give us the strength, motivation, inspiration, hopes to move forward when we tried our best and it all fails. yes, Suga said in the documentary, that he would be glad to help to juniors in music industry. and as he didnt have anybody who could help him, so he is offering his arm and mentoring to juniors
the repetitive phrase "everything will be ok" incepted to my brain and helps me already. it probably was on purpose to repeat it, that we know that "everything will be ok", that we beleive in ourselves
Everything SUGA does has meaning. I’m sure the 16x is symbolic. For me, personally, when I first heard it, that repetition was so meaningful. People fear excessive repetition in a song. Artists typically won’t do it for artistic effect. But, BTS, from the beginning was built knowing they were music/artists for healing. Now picture yourself, in the moment, comforting someone. Do you say, “It’s all gonna be okay” one or two times~ no. You say it as many times, as someone needs to hear it. In fact, if you meditate/pray, we repeat phrases/prayers, etc. It’s comforting, encouraging, strengthening. It raises us out of the pit we’re in-whether it’s self encouragement or comforting others. I think in some ways SUGA starts with that to others and then, because he relates emotionally, he’s then, self-calming. Just my feeling from things he’s said and other parts of the song. That comforts me, as well. 🥹🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Woosung's voice is so warm it melts stones Woosung's voice touch hearts and souls and makes you cry, have goosebumps Woosung's voice enter the deepest darkest parts of you your heart

Bryan, thanks for doing all (except Life Goes On) the D-Day songs. So much to go over! Yes, Snooze is my favorite song. My purpose is to buy the consecutive albums of the boys, I'm going about the 6th album, and well I skipped Hobi's, Jack in the Box, for obvious reasons hahahahahaha.... I love listening to you and reading to you, and how relaxed, calm you look, just like the song you leave a peace in whoever sees you. Please, please, please react to... The Last (Suga) Mama (J-Hope) Otsucare (Sope) The three are very different, but I would love to see them on your channel.... Sweethearts, take care of yourself. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Suga wanted just change something in K-pop, just help new idols to break stereotypes, just to open fans' eyes and remind them that idols also are humans and they have their privacy.. he wanted to decrease pressure and prejudice to new idols. Suga also worked when he was young and he became idol when he was just 18.. he should leave all these prohibited world for several year, in the best years of his youth. He just fights for new generation as an older brother and the someone who has lost his youth years. I am so so proud of him. He dominated Billboard songwriters' chart for several weeks.. he is musical genius
A wonderful glimpse of Yoongi's mentoring younger artists can be seen in the Suchwita's episode with TXT. I highly recommend it! Thank you for the reaction.
So I know everyone already told you that Yoongi wrote this song for his juniors, he said he wanted to comfort them how BTS/he wanted to be comforted when they were struggling. It's such a beautiful thought that shows the beauty of his soft heart ❤️ He knows how much reassurance works when someone us going through the struggling phase and might be overthinking every life decision. My heart felt the warmth of Yoongi's love while listening to this song, because this song again is applying on all of us, on the youth, who are in their struggling phase. I love him a lot. I really do 😭💜 He heals my anxious mind, he heals my scared heart ❤️🩹 Thankyou so much for reacting to BTS ❤
Being an Indian and a Hindu, {from where the concept of Karma (originally pronounced as Karm), has originated}, I can say that the Hindi word "Karm" simply means "Actions/Activities" "Karma is the universal Hindu law of cause and effect which holds a person responsible for his or her actions and effects. According to one's good or bad actions, Bhagwan (Universe) rewards or punishes." "Karma is not fate, for man acts with free will, creating his own destiny. The Vedas tell us, if we sow goodness, we will reap goodness; if we sow evil, we will reap evil." "The word 'karma' means human action or deed; we are constantly performing karmas whether physically, mentally, or emotionally"
@@DestructiveMediaYT And you know, as per our scriptures, the planet responsible for managing the karma is SATURN, it is the abode of God Shani (whose day is Saturday - literally Shani-vaar in Hindi) Saturn is the ruler of Signs Capricorn and Aquarius. "Shani" worships Lord "Shiv", who is the presiding deity of planet Saturn (Shani). There is too much in my culture that is just interrelated. You can estimate that by the fact that we have 330 million God & Goddess. I find it so amazing & fascinating 😍 There are so many legends & epics and interesting stories that even I don't know about, and all of that makes my culture 🫠❤️
Hi from Spain, I'm Olga, wow!! I barely know what to say about this song, it's so beautiful, it's my favorite, as I heard it that's how it struck me, then I looked for a translation and I was speechless,I listen to it several times every day, I don't get tired, I'm hooked, AgusD's album, Suga, is the best I've heard in years, and I already have a few, it's a masterpiece from start to finish, all the songs, their lyrics, their composition, the production, the MV, everything!!! He opened his soul to us to reach ours, and boy did he succeed!!! Live is brutal, he transforms On stage, that is his habitat, he lives it, he gives himself to the maximum and makes him a first-rate artist, he is wonderful, Clos 7 boys are, 7 GREAT ARTISTS who leave us very good, great music!! A greeting, and enjoy this jewel!!🫰❤️🔥💜🇪🇦
I started crying three repetitions of 'everything will be alright' in lol. To me it just feels like him saying it anyone who needs to hear it very badly. It's hard to believe it when you tell yourself, so it felt like he knew that and told me instead, repeating it until it would sink in. It means so much when you're in that place.
Woosung is the singer he’s from The Rose 🌹 but he’s got solo songs awesome 👏 Woosung has a voice like silk! Check out Beauty is a state of mind by the Rose and phase me solo song by Woosung! He’s so talented
Głos Woosunga różni się od głosów (tenorów) BTS.Nie dziwię się, że Suga wybrał jego do udziału w piosence.Woosung ma przepiękny głos.Suga bezkonkurecyjny.Pan Sakomoto wspaniały.
I absolutely love this song it’s my favorite song on the album. I saw him in Chicago and was crying because he did if so passionate. Love your reactions
Absolutely love everything about this song and great discovery of Woosung of The Rose. The underlying piano by Sakamoto is also amazing. Definitely my favourite song from this album 💜
I enjoyed your reaction to the whole album. I never heard of an artist who wrote a song to comfort other junior artists trying to achieve their dreams. Only BTS or Agust D can do that. The lyrics are raw and beautiful as always. Some of the lyrics came from Agust D's SO FARAWAY which is another beautiful song (I think you haven't reacted to this song yet). I'm glad to hear that you liked Woosong's vocals. He's a vocalist from a Korean indie band the ROSE. I recommend you to listen to She's in The Rain, Beauty and the Beast, and Sour. His vocals pulls my heartstring.
This song is everything I needed on this album, it's my favorite. It was the perfect collaboration, which I didn't know I needed until I had the 3 of them together. If you liked Woosung's voice, I recommend listening to The Rose, which is his band or his solo works. Thank you for reacting to this song Brian 💜💜
I love this song so much... WOOSUNG's voice reminds me a bit of Sade in this. Just as a note re "editing skills"-- what you're seeing in the background is what was actually at the concert, not something LBM interposed.
Sammy/Woosung from The Rose has an unusual/clear/haunting quality to his voice on this. I love all his music. Here's live version of Sorry th-cam.com/video/QDcfQQEhlJw/w-d-xo.html
The one you held up sayi g weitd looking, it's mot a photocard. It's a scanimAtion card. It's a classic! It's where you slowly pull and push in and out of the sleeve, and it'll look like it's kinda moving. 😊😊😊 Lpve this reaction. Fell in love with woosung's voice, too! 💜🫶🏻
Also, I was lucky enough to see yoongi at 2 of his Chicago days (my friend surprised me with tickets for a second day) and this song live is so emotional for sure. I cried 😭

this song is soooo beautiful!! I knew woud love it too. It's always sad when the album is over pfffttt but I'm sure there must be still stuff you didn't hear from Bangtan no doubts! don't remember if you were done with the love yourself series? if you already graduated from all the albums and mixtapes then it's time to watch their live performances.. and be ruined forever since no other artist can create that energy on stage!! it's gonna be rough til 2025, we're lucky Yoongi took pity on us and gave us peasants this incredible tour, it's too amazing!!
@@DestructiveMediaYT omg like asking a kid in a candy store to choose his favorite lol I doubt there's any of their performances I loved less than another, but in order to observe their evolution maybe start with their old stuff? like.. not because they're mind blowing but to see where they started and where they are right now. There was a showcase, I think the one Tae was referencing in that Run episode? where they had to choose a place that reminded them of ARMY. Lemme check!
@@DestructiveMediaYT wait. did you watch their debut stage?? because all ARMYs should!! they also did a reaction to their own debut stage in 2019 (2018 maybe?)
Bryan, im justing popping back in here to tell you "The Rose" have just released 2 absolute bangers of songs "Back to me" and "Alive" if you were still interested in checking them out. I think you'll love them, they are a full band and these tracks go hard👍
Beautiful song and having Woosung on it just sealed the deal for me. He has a stunningly unique voice, probably my favourite outside of BTS. I could bang on forever about The Rose and their awful management company that screwed them over. I'll link a live performance below that I think you would love th-cam.com/video/lZHA8hyrTUQ/w-d-xo.html I remember watching Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence when I was younger and the theme song composed by Mr. Sakamoto, captured my heart. RIP. Thank you for your reaction Bryan💜
The translations for this song can be very different, I tried to translate myself and got very different results, so if some sentences sound a bit weird, it can be because of the translation.
here's Bangtan first showcase (performance in front of ARMY), the one Tae mentions on Run episode o what place reminds him of ARMY. He literally looks like he's 9 lmao it0s so cute! June 13th 2013. It's a 10.43 min video! th-cam.com/video/A5f_jDZCoqA/w-d-xo.html they did No more dream and We Are Bulletproof PT.2
I agree with karma it is not that simple and I think Yoongi is right don't engage in "drama", bc you don't never know whatvwill happen to you... Editing was interesting of live but I actually would prefer if they leave Woosung part how it was on concert then clip from docu bc Army really was great singing this part so it would be fun if they would pull clip of people, when you can hear them good... Ah but that my thought 😅😋 You don't do "Life goes on"? Tgat you said it last? Hmm I didn't see something...
why you do this to me Bryan I should be working yet here I am doing research on Bangtan debut days lmao pls it's too cuuuute! pls watch the showcaseeeeeee!! or maybe for when they turn 10 this year? they did their TV debut and their 1st showcase on the same day June 13 2013. Btw they speak in Korean age so when Kookie says he's 17 he's actually 15!! cause his bday is Sep 1st hehe real ages: Joon 18, Hobi 19, Jin 20, Yoongi 20, Jimin+Tae 17.
Hey Bryan. I loved all your D-Day reaction videos. What do you think of Life Goes On? As always with BTS and solo albums I find it hard to pick a favourite as they are all so good in different ways, but this one is one of my favourites of the album, one of my favourites from AgustD and favourite songs ever. This is an amazing collab!! Also love Woosungs vocals and the piano in the song and composition and production 🤌😌 Ryuichi Sakomoto composed one of my favourite pieces of piano music ever - Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence. ahhh lol I just watched their debut stage again after so long pleeeeease it's so cute. Also reading comments from kpop fans from years ago is wild. Even if you don't react to it please watch it! edit: I added the link in another comment!

Please, please, please react to...
The Last (Suga)
Mama (J-Hope)
Otsucare (Sope)
The three are very different, but I would love to see them on your channel....
Love your comments..💜💜
His young friend's voice is very special, and haunting.
I really do 😭💜 He heals my anxious mind, he heals my scared heart ❤️🩹
Thankyou so much for reacting to BTS ❤
Oh, And I love that singing voice too ❤
Being an Indian and a Hindu, {from where the concept of Karma (originally pronounced as Karm), has originated}, I can say that the Hindi word "Karm" simply means "Actions/Activities"
"Karma is the universal Hindu law of cause and effect which holds a person responsible for his or her actions and effects. According to one's good or bad actions, Bhagwan (Universe) rewards or punishes."
"Karma is not fate, for man acts with free will, creating his own destiny. The Vedas tell us, if we sow goodness, we will reap goodness; if we sow evil, we will reap evil."
"The word 'karma' means human action or deed; we are constantly performing karmas whether physically, mentally, or emotionally"
Thank you for this definition of Karma, I appreciate it very much!
@@DestructiveMediaYT And you know, as per our scriptures, the planet responsible for managing the karma is SATURN, it is the abode of God Shani (whose day is Saturday - literally Shani-vaar in Hindi)
Saturn is the ruler of Signs Capricorn and Aquarius.
Спасибо за реакцию. Это моя самая любимая песня в исполнении Шуги.
Amigdala and Snooze ...Hits my heart till I cry when I hear or watch the video😢
Thanks for the Unboxing for the album
Hi Bryan, this is my favorite song of Suga ever, every time i have goosbumps 💜💜
I started crying three repetitions of 'everything will be alright' in lol. To me it just feels like him saying it anyone who needs to hear it very badly. It's hard to believe it when you tell yourself, so it felt like he knew that and told me instead, repeating it until it would sink in. It means so much when you're in that place.
Woosung is the singer he’s from The Rose 🌹 but he’s got solo songs awesome 👏 Woosung has a voice like silk! Check out Beauty is a state of mind by the Rose and phase me solo song by Woosung! He’s so talented
OMG you have the album🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 happy for you
Głos Woosunga różni się od głosów (tenorów) BTS.Nie dziwię się, że Suga wybrał jego do udziału w piosence.Woosung ma przepiękny głos.Suga bezkonkurecyjny.Pan Sakomoto wspaniały.
I absolutely love this song it’s my favorite song on the album. I saw him in Chicago and was crying because he did if so passionate. Love your reactions
Спасибо за реакцию! Люблю Ваши реакции на BTS и сольные работы парней!
Thank you for watching, I appreciate it!
I was there Day 1 New York. Tears streamed down my face when he sang this. Love it. 💜
thank you for your reaction
For me, this is one of the best albums. Woo-sung's collaboration was fantastic!
This is my favorite song on the album. The whole album is absolutely awesome I love it!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You should watch SUGA as a host in Suchwita. So compassionate and smart. It is worth it. 💜💜💜💜
Absolutely love everything about this song and great discovery of Woosung of The Rose. The underlying piano by Sakamoto is also amazing. Definitely my favourite song from this album 💜
yesss..this is my favorite one..same here bryan...i want loop that part
Thank you for the suggestions!
My song recommendation for woosung and his band the rose: sorry, definition of ugly is, beauty and the beast, she's in the rain some of my favourites
Finally, i'm was waiting for this, Thanks Bryan❤
Thank you for watching
I love this song so much... WOOSUNG's voice reminds me a bit of Sade in this.
Just as a note re "editing skills"-- what you're seeing in the background is what was actually at the concert, not something LBM interposed.
You are doing great, I really like your reactions 💜. This song is so beautiful to me.
Awesome reaction, thank you. New subscriber.
Thank you for subscribing, I hope you enjoy my other videos!
very good~~~~~💜💜💜
Sammy/Woosung from The Rose has an unusual/clear/haunting quality to his voice on this.
Lpve this reaction. Fell in love with woosung's voice, too! 💜🫶🏻
Oh that's what it is, thank you for telling me 😆
Second 😂😂💜💜💜
Thank you for reaction sir
🤣 thank you for watching!
Suga ... Fantástico ❤❤👏👏👏👏👏😍🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷💜🇧🇷🇧🇷
Agreed!
A wonderful song
Love the whole album if I had to pick it would be Snooze and Huh? Love Hobi's part.
My favorite song from the album if I had to choose.
The Rose is another great band, I saw them live last year.
Also, I was lucky enough to see yoongi at 2 of his Chicago days (my friend surprised me with tickets for a second day) and this song live is so emotional for sure. I cried 😭
Thank You for Your amazing reaction.
Your words are so warm and important.
My heart very Happy:)

Totally needed your take on Karma today! I'm glad you shared your thoughts, and once again, I found myself wishing you were a neighbor down the street whom I could grab a coffee with. 💜
We are internet neighbors! 😆
Please try The Rose. You'll love them
The meaning of the lyrics and music of it are good.
This song is a complete package, everything you would want in a song!
💜💜
this song is soooo beautiful!!
I did finish my Love Yourself series, do you have any suggestions for live performances?
Snooze is my fav, also love Huh
2 great songs I jam to daily, thank you for watching!

Thank you very much for watching!
Bryan, im justing popping back in here to tell you "The Rose" have just released 2 absolute bangers of songs "Back to me" and "Alive" if you were still interested in checking them out. I think you'll love them, they are a full band and these tracks go hard👍
I listen to this song quite a bit and have been thinking about doing a reaction to The Rose...
Pleaaaaase, react The Rose, Woosung and other boys so amazing
Beautiful song and having Woosung on it just sealed the deal for me. He has a stunningly unique voice, probably my favourite outside of BTS. I could bang on forever about The Rose and their awful management company that screwed them over. I'll link a live performance below that I think you would love th-cam.com/video/lZHA8hyrTUQ/w-d-xo.html
I remember watching Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence when I was younger and the theme song composed by Mr. Sakamoto, captured my heart. RIP.
Thank you for your reaction Bryan💜
Yay, another book nerd! None of my books have creases. I can never lend out my stuff 😅
My wife is the same way, our books are well taken care of.
Ah but that my thought 😅😋
You don't do "Life goes on"? Tgat you said it last? Hmm I didn't see something...
First 😍💜👀
😁
why you do this to me Bryan I should be working yet here I am doing research on Bangtan debut days lmao pls it's too cuuuute! pls watch the showcaseeeeeee!! or maybe for when they turn 10 this year? they did their TV debut and their 1st showcase on the same day June 13 2013.
Lawrence. It is one of the most beautiful pieces of music 🎶 ✨️ Highly reccommend a listen if you've never heard it. Heres the audio recording of the piece th-cam.com/video/1MBwENgbo0k/w-d-xo.html
And a video of him playing it live th-cam.com/video/LGs_vGt0MY8/w-d-xo.html
here's their debut stage link: th-cam.com/video/TxcjtVPqDTs/w-d-xo.html
Thank you! 💜
last one lol I really need to go back to work I've been for two hours already with this lmao not debut but they were promoting, June 29 2013, already improved so much from their first stage: th-cam.com/video/IJVoQKPPekg/w-d-xo.html that styling lol help Edit: it's got subtitles in English!!
💜💜
ahhh lol I just watched their debut stage again after so long pleeeeease it's so cute. Also reading comments from kpop fans from years ago is wild. Even if you don't react to it please watch it! edit: I added the link in another comment!
