Just like the guy, I had a boyfriend who was like that. I told him in the beginning of our relationship no sex allowed. I was with him for three years. He hated the fact that I wouldn’t give him sex without us being married. He didn’t understand Christianity since he was a Catholic. So, he broke up with me over the phone. I was hurt but at the same time I was glad because in the end, I was able to still keep my virginity. I’m glad to still have it at almost 42 years old. Can you believe that? I guess sex can be beautiful but it’s really beautiful when you are married on that special night.

@@mattr.1887 I don't know if you've read more and found the answers to your questions, but here are some things to consider (there is more in the Bible that discusses this)
There is biblical evidence to support the idea that sex was designed by God to be part of marriage. Several passages in both the Old and New Testaments emphasize the connection between sex and marriage, underscoring that sexual intimacy is meant to be experienced within the covenant of marriage. Here are some key passages:
      1. Genesis 2:24
This foundational verse speaks to God's original design for human relationships:
"Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh."
      Key Points:
      - This verse speaks about the union of man and woman, emphasizing that they become "one flesh" when they marry.
      - "One flesh" is traditionally understood as referring to the sexual union, indicating that sexual intimacy is meant to occur within the context of marriage.
      2. Genesis 1:28
God commands Adam and Eve to multiply and fill the earth:
"Then God blessed them, and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.'"
      Key Points:
      - While this command highlights procreation, it implicitly connects sexual relations to the purpose of marriage as the natural context for having children.
      3. 1 Corinthians 7:2-5
Paul addresses the issue of marital relations in his letter to the Corinthians:
"Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control."
      Key Points:
      - Paul affirms that sexual relations are a legitimate and necessary part of marriage.
      - Sex is not just for procreation but also for mutual affection and protection from temptation.
      - The idea that each spouse has authority over the other's body shows that sexual intimacy is to be a mutual, committed, and exclusive part of marriage.
      4. Hebrews 13:4
The writer of Hebrews emphasizes the sanctity of marriage and sexual purity:
"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge."
      Key Points:
      - Marriage is described as "honorable" and the marriage bed (symbolizing sexual relations) is "undefiled."
      - Sexual relations within marriage are considered pure, while sexual immorality (fornication and adultery) are condemned.
This reinforces the biblical teaching that sex is designed to be enjoyed within the context of marriage.
      5. Matthew 19:4-6
Jesus affirms the Genesis account when addressing marriage:
"He answered and said to them, 'Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.'"
      Key Points:
      - Jesus refers back to Genesis 2:24, reinforcing the idea that marriage involves becoming "one flesh."
      - The "one flesh" union points to the intimate, sexual relationship that is a key part of the marital covenant.
      6. Proverbs 5:18-19
This passage provides wisdom for marital intimacy:
"Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth. As a loving deer and a graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times; and always be enraptured with her love."
      Key Points:
      - This passage speaks to the joy and fulfillment that should be experienced in the sexual relationship between a husband and wife.
      - It emphasizes the pleasure and satisfaction that comes from sexual intimacy in marriage.
      Conclusion
Biblically, sex is portrayed as a gift from God designed to be experienced within the covenant of marriage. From the creation account in Genesis to the teachings of Jesus and Paul, the consistent message is that marriage is the proper context for sexual intimacy. It is not just for procreation, but also for the expression of love, affection, and unity between a husband and wife. The Bible condemns sexual immorality (fornication, adultery, etc.) and presents marriage as the exclusive and sanctified setting for sex.

    • @Judahmangi
      @Judahmangi 5 ปีที่แล้ว +19

Someone claiming the name of Christ while knowingly encouraging fornication is a legitimate reason to be concerned about the state of that person's soul. Not because those sins are too sinful to be covered by Christ's atonement (they aren't), but because conscious rebellion against/disregard of the clear biblical teaching against sexual immorality is enough to call into question whether someone really has put faith in Christ and been regenerated by the Spirit. It could be that they are saved and just an immature believer, but it could also be that they are not even saved.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the *sexually immoral*, nor idolaters, nor *adulterers* ... will inherit the kingdom of God.

What this comes down to has to do with knowing the law, God's law specifically, the bible says those that don't know the law are under a curse, it's no wonder the people that believe they can't have sex before they get married, that's NOT in the law, but thinking it is makes one's life truly more difficult , for some even a major mistake, read my comments below to keep from falling into this trap that's being set for you, it might help

  • @warren6790

My question would be, why let the compelling force that's driving you to get married to be what gets you married in the first place, this is got to be the most ridiculous thing to believe, to get married only to justify having sex and getting married is the only way to do it, BIG mistake for the majority, only to find out later that what they done can't be undone, having two people live together that hate each other or are just unhappy in their marriage, it's a damn if you do and damned if you don't situation, what your NOT being told is what happens when the LOVE grows cold and it DOES with most, then disaster comes when the two are irresponsible for their actions, the bible is clearly against this which is why being betrothed eliminated that possibility for most, it's too apparent from the Song of Solomon these two are NOT married and DON'T live with each other and they are all over each other, people that don't understand the purpose of being betrothed are to blame for this, a lack of knowledge, if betrothed, there was a way out, if married, there's NO way out, according to Jesus, just people with their excuses making the law have no effect or being useless, and fornication is Not something the married commit, it's what the unmarried or betrothed person commits, which is cheating on the person you intend on marrying, if you were married, you didn't need a divorce, that person was as good as dead by their law, the apostles didn't deal with adultery because at that time every country knew what adultery was and had laws concerning it, what a country can't do is make a law that can control the sex lives of people that are not married, it could not be enforced, which is why STD'S are so dangerous, back then, one would have more than likely killed you, having no laws to protect someone from another person giving you a STD is the problem and if your looking to nature how these diseases spread, look no further beyond the unfaithful or possibly needles spreading it, there is NO judgement on the faithful only the unfaithful, the disease doesn't just appear from out of nowhere

Lets try this again, the bible doesn't call it a sin, men call it sin, the bible clearly doesn't condemn it, what the bible does condemn about sexual relations is easily found in the law of Moses and no where in his law are two adults having sex with each other that's not man on man or incest or adultery or rape, maybe some others but never a single male adult and a single female adult, stop using the laws that apply to children to judge people that are smarter than yourself, don't fall for this marriage trap either from videos like this, a trap it is and one you cannot get out of unless your partner breaks one of these laws Moses commanded that applied to sexual relations, any other cause and Jesus will not justify you, the bible says marriage is honorable by all, not commanded to all nor is it something that all respect, adulterers certainly don't and the whore doesn't either, just be faithful to whomever your with, it's not till death do you part nor are you making a vow to God that so many break not realizing the bible says, if you make a vow to God and don't do it, He will call it sin in you, I'm just saying, don't get married unless you absolutely have to, what their not telling you is all those feelings you have towards that person you love, don't last, what you make together with that person you love, you will be held responsible for it, also don't rely on the errors the KJV translators made with this word wife, go to the old testament as your source, it's more accurate and better understood, it would also help to get some understanding of Hebrew and Greek if you really want to know the truth

@@vegetablehead I had to cut my comment short or it wouldn't get posted, there's way more I want to tell you but hopefully you will understand what I said, what I really want to warn you about has to do with all the false teachers putting up video's on you tube that's doing more harm than good, beware of them, what Jesus taught is way different from what their teaching, if you follow them I can assure you, you will become a slave to sin, only not sin that God calls sin but sin that they call sin also trying to recognize who they are is very difficult to a new believer because they all have the appearance of being good and righteous people confessing Jesus as their Lord and doing many good works, what they don't see is in their gospel and what their gospel is doing, what they preach or teach actually turns people against a belief in God, why? because they make it too hard for them to serve God, Jesus said His commandments are NOT hard and there not, if your life is hard because of your beliefs and you are not a murderer, adulterer, rapist or so on, a fornicator in short, but your faithful to your girlfriend, God will NEVER judge you as He would the adulterer and the cheater or whoremonger or fornicator, most people are NOT these evil doers but won't go to church or can't stay in church after hearing this ungodly gospel that condemns them and it's not possible for them to get married at that time or they just want to be sure whom they marry is the right person and getting married to justify having sex is a BIG mistake, why? because once you do it's for life which by the way that's another thing Jesus preached against, making vows to God and not fulfilling them, why? because God said if you vow a vow to Him and don't fulfill it, He will call it SIN in you, I wish I could show you all the evil that comes from this nevertheless, Jesus said don't make any vows to God because you know not what tomorrow will bring, maybe I've said too much, let me know what you don't understand, or do what so many do and block my replies to them, lol, I just say anyway, whatever, the only one I fear is God and the one He has appointed as judge=Jesus
